The Bluewater store is jammed all day. I suspect the flagship stores such as these make the money more so than the high street outlets.
Undervalued stock with a special dividend.
Lovely jubbly.
They are food, despite what the World throws up, they are food. And it will get on the shelves
You haven't been to my local high street then. Since lockdown was lifted the area has become progressively busier despite the absence of foreign tourists. Primark is also packed with teens and early twenties buying multiple items
Of course brand snobs are welcome to pay 3 or 4 times as much along with other fashion victims!!
this will improve slowly ,it is not as we know a one trick pony ,, THEY the senior management are very good ,, and dont take major risks , i see a return to better profits BUT not for at least 18 mths ,, if covid can be kept in check ,,, primarni is a major earner as we no . that is the key ..hope THEY do not seperate the business.
Rock the high street? Who even goes there anymore? The high street is already well into full collapse. You can get nearly everything online these days without leaving home and paying extortionate parking charge and wasting petrol. Even oldies like me do all their shopping online. Shopping centres will become entertainment centres - food and leisure - actually many have already transitioned to this. High Street as such is going to disappear soon - much like the local butcher, banks, video rental stores, etc. Talking of Primark - my kids wouldn't be seen dead in any Primark merch - not even their socks and pants.

I hope there is not another lockdown if there is it will rock the markets and high street .
Good luck
My wife won't go near the shop now, total tat plus a 50 mile round trip to return something
ABF has a giant cash position and isn't just Primark. Which besides will always do well as it caters for a segment of people who put low prices at the top of their priority list. This is a time to be accumulating stock.

Primark has sparked a huge reaction from fans after sharing a new denim collection online - and the reaction hasn't been positive.
The company posted a photograph of its new denim range on Instagram alongside the caption "Yep, 100% obsessed with these denim looks!" Fans, however, were unimpressed.
"Wtf. Is this a joke? It looks like a Backstreet Boys throwback," said one
A third exclaimed: "Why, Primark?! Seriously?! Socks and flip-flops?! I thought you were a fashion company, you're supposed to help people look better."
Socks and flip flops LOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!
High street retailer Primark has issued a warning to shoppers over supply chain delays affecting its autumn winter stock levels.
Owner Associated British Foods (ABF) said Primark was "experiencing some delays to the handover of some autumn/winter inventory caused by port and container freight disruptions".

Things must be very bad to need to warn ALL OF YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Meanwhile boohoo....Demand accelerating in September
Consumer demand has been improving through August, principally in the UK but also in key overseas markets such as Ireland and France, where there has been a re-acceleration in the rate of growth. This has again improved in September, where the rate of gross sales growth has increased compared to that achieved in the second quarter of the financial year.
Not surprised for reasons previously mentioned.
Chancellor Kallumama You promised it was coming?
When is Shein going to get destroyed with slave labour accusations like boohoo did. Its a joke really Shein are known to be using slave labour in China but we still allow UK sales. Also I'm originally from Walsall. In the past it really was the home of the sweat shop so I wonder how many people there are getting minimum wage.
And its not just BOO in the firing line...
If it drops further and touches 1650p then I shall considerably increase my exposure in ABF and raise a glass to those who are selling so cheaply.
Click the link in my previous post and see what’s happening over the water.

Why no online yet Primark?
Is there going to be a market crash?
There's one already bloody well taking place if no one's noticed!!!
Many great companies cheaper now than March 20 crash.
Incredible.
So if we're going to have a crash on top of this, we're all bloody doomed.
And now I read Rihanna is taking her billion dollar lingerie business into brick and mortar.
The company is now turning to physical retail for growth, opening its own stores in the US next year.
European locations may follow after that.
Bloombergbusiness.
The CEO of Parade , Cami Téllez, in a recent article announced the company are planning to open their first brick and mortar store. This will be in New York and should open in November.

"I've set a limit BUY at 1650."
Good luck to this getting executed. Has this taken into account the very profitable food business, especially sugar profits for this year and next, or have you assumed ABF is just the profitable primark retail business.
BOO, I would guess, faces even more competition from Shein
than Primark, however Primark also arguably in the firing line.
Where has Kall gone to?.
