Have abingdon got any contact or in the plans to manufacture lfts for upfront diagnostics at all? They are doing a lft for strokes to supply the NHS next year
Really pleased they have confirmed theres no need for future funding in 2024. That was one of my worries tbh. They need to keep the comms up as staying silent for months on end will only see the SP wither away. It happens all to often with this shareâŚ
Made 20% in my trading account in 2 days as only a few more days until new tax year, then can only make ÂŁ3000 tax free ,not selling any shares in my isa account until shares move much higher fingers crossed.
This is the most interesting part of interim results
"The primary objective of the Board remains to move the Company to a breakeven and cash flow positive position which it forecasts will be achieved in 2024 without the need for additional funding."
The risk with small caps is always dilution. It's hard to come back from being diluted multiple times (some of us have been here long enough we were caught in the last raise). Removing this risk is paramount to the long term success of shareholders and if ABDX can deliver a net profit this year the SP will fly. Forget 44% in a day, more like 200%!
As always, great posts Muck.
There are ABDX fingers is many many pies now.
We can all imagine the SP reaction to news of FDA approvals and/or a large NHS contract to supply tests (maybe in the millions) of something manufactured by ABDX.
These are more than wild dreams, they are very likely to land in the near future... lots and lots to look forward to here.
Oh, and seeking Breakthrough Designation from the FDA.....!
Worth noting that this pitch was to "a unique audience of NHS leaders and investors".
Nice to see them win, (because any NHS involvement and/or subsequent investment can only be good for us) and for them to confirm that they are hoping to get UKCA this quarter.
Some more positives from Upfront today

Muck: That post is spot-on - the potential for a meteoric rise is indeed there for all the reasons you allude to. We've seen it before in the (sadly) distant past - but nothing has fundamentally changed regarding the shareholder base since then.
Also have to remember we have a low free float, massive director/shareholder alignment, and that most existing investors will, I suspect, be under water at the moment and likely to hold rather than sell given the prospects. So any buying pressure is likely to have an accelerated impact on the SP (unless I've misunderstood!)
Essentially buying a comany the will be cash gererative this year 2024 without the need to raise money this is a steal buy
Good point Muck.
That CP action has been playing on my mind too. I had begun to think there may have been a 'negative' reason for it. But as you say, it now appears to represent an opportunity. Let's hope it is and they take it.
Directors out of closed period now interims published (earlier than required), and doesnât look like there will be any raise for them to join in on, so wonder if they will buy? Has to be a reason they were keen to break up the CP and so give themselves the opportunity.
Significant day for ABDX.
After the shambles of the TU in January, let's hope the board have now learnt some lessons with respect to shareholder communication.
Pathway to FCF now confirmed.
New investor presentation on website.
Project pipeline looks interesting incorporating animal and environmental projects.

Having watched this for quite a while and seeing it gradually fall, its great to see it doing well now.
I have now invested into this as it looks much more promising
Being this RNS basically confirms the company is in its best position since getting the Covid (let's not go there!) Government contract. Logic would say it should at least go above the previous 52 week Sp high of 16.5p.
Unfortunately logic and AIM shares are two words that seldom work together, but that is where this should be/go. Just over ÂŁ10million Mcap and that's around the number we can expect ABDX turnover to be this year.... if that doesn't scream massively undervalued, I don't know what will?
Itâs a great RNS and Iâve just bought in now after having this on watch for a long time
Itâs very rare now that a company is not asking for handouts and have cash in the bank
I honestly donât see any need for cash now, or in the future, unless to fund an acquisition or greater manufacturing.

This was what I was referring to
I am a shareholder in MHC and ABDX and truly feel ABDX is well undervalued given its product. I just worry about a need for cash but maybe they wonât need any if revenue producing more profit!.
Any thoughts
HD2U - agree on the retailer own brand. Said it before, but only major retailers âown brandâ and so orders in that respect could well be significant. CDMO and CRO was all about building customer base and solidifying our finances through a fee for service model. The plan has always been to take those customers through to manufacturing where real money can be made, especially with products like Upfront/52North which seem destined through IDAP for widespread and early adoption in the NHS and potentially global national health systems. The US currently represent 50% of our clients and that geography represents our biggest growth area.
And just to add that Salistick is absolutely everywhere at the moment in Israeli media outlets including various TV channels following its launch there. 100,000 units have now been sold, but itâs only for sale in the U.K., Nordic regions, RSA, and now Israel - the ROW is yet to come, and we make and kit for the test.
This is by far the best rns for some considerable time (imo).
No cash raise needed, confirmed by a "robust" start to 2nd half (2 months is a chunk of the second half.)
The removal of a cash raise is the key takeaway for me.
It is only when there is a majority belief in the market that a loss making company no longer will be diluting share holders investment does it make sense to either increase their holding or attract new buyers believing a bottom has now formed. (imo dyor etc)
I did hear it mentioned on a podcast about cash burn was the issue. Can someone update me about that. Could a fund raise be needed or do they have enough cash in otherâs opinions.
It has always been a problem here. Some good news, SP price responds (naturally) but then mostly silence for several months after so the SP slowly slides back down as impatient investors get bored. With 29 projects on the go and more than 1 with pre-orders and delivery expected before July, its set up nicely this time for the good news to keep rolling, and with that the SP to have a nice solid consistent general trajectory up!
In time maybe but 10p first đ
