100% sure the news will drop before end of july. DW deserves credit for always updating shareholders on time. Should be a extremely good end to the month with growth continuing in Jan. Glad to be hear
88 Energy Ltd.'s Managing Director, Dave Wall, commented: "Final decision on approval for the conventional farm-out is now scheduled for June 2019 and we remain optimistic of a favourable outcome for our shareholders in the very near term.
We are still only mid month.
But yes, it better be deal concluded in June, and we better be told about it in June, either way.
Both sets of supporters are always expecting their team to win the Cup final. Let's hope its the 88 team holding the Cup (farm out)
There is NO reason to suggest that news will NOT drop in the next fortnight!
If there was a delay with the Paperwork, then we would have been told by now.
Anyone ever waited at the bus stop or stood in the departure lounge waiting for their scheduled service, for it only to be delayed. Often through no fault of the operator. That is wait we are up against. The term schedule has a level of ambiguity to it.
Pretty sure it will be any day now. If not I think we would of had an update by now. There are many catalysts for a good sp rise coming up dependant on many factors - Farmin deal details. Amount of cash. The forward drilling plan and the big one.. With who? A tier 1 major the likes of COP, Shell, Repsol, Sinopec who knows what effect that could have on the SP. -The fact the SP is near its lows. We have been mid 3s before the various dissapointments. Good news could have an exponential effect. -We have the hrz farm out starting soon or already. -Various exciting outcomes of Yukon are possible soon. -Winx.. Whilst a dissapointment could serve up data for interest nearby. Lots to look forward to and could all be just around the corner. Let's just hope the farm out deal is worth the wait.
Project Icewine Conventional Subsequent to the selection of a preferred bidder, indicative terms have been agreed and due diligence is now largely complete. The remaining steps are; final decision on approval and documentation of the agreement. Both steps are scheduled to occur in June 2019. The Company advises that there is no guarantee that final approvals will be granted. Alaska Projects Update 22/05/2019

Dazzle1000 also gave an explanation of what an indicative offer was on 31st May, 2019.

The Aussies on this BB are currently a bunch of negheads!
Gere is the definition of "scheduled" - a list of planned activities or things to be done showing the times or dates when they are intended to happen or be done
There is NO ambiguity at all!!!
Neversatisfied sorry to hear about the wife's job, hope all gets sorted soon.
jiddy just because someone is primarily posting on HC also does not guarantee they are Australians :-)
Your right Brom, they would need to post a picture of a quokka, digeridoo, or kangaroo to prove that. Jiddy, make sure Dave's fax machine isn't empty of paper or this could he the make or break!!
Just stating the ..... obvious t!
Perhaps you could inject a strain of negativity into the Baggy Greens LOL.
WAa a picture of a quokka would do for me, Ah! :-)
You didn't get the real one in the post?
Never. At times though they are quite capable of doing that themselves. Ha Ha.Sort of smooth things over or rub people up the wrong way. !!!!
Maybe I shouldn't have criovacded it. Poor little thing.
I do hope for cracking announcement very soon. I also hope shares are able to be flogged in July so I don't pay tax this FY. 3 weeks until 2 week camping trip north of Jurien Bay. Would be a hard trip with no news by then. Jiddy, might be worth checking that his inbox isn't full as well. God help us if that was the case.
Yeah, how about those negative Aussies dragging the board down. What is obvious Jiddy, is that schedules and timelines are changed on regular basis in all avenues of business. We are no different. Not saying it will happen here but it is possible. I'm just suggesting there is the potential for the schedule/timeline/program or plan to not meet the June deadline. I'm open to the possiblity and it does not affect my shareholding, as I'm not selling at these prices. I did consider it though. I'm more than happy for you to be correct and would be over the moon for the deal to be completed in the allotted time frame.
I am expecting to see DW in the UK after the FO is completed.
We do NOT want any more CR's, so an upfront cash payment for previous costs should be factored in.
This is hopefully the dawn of a new era for 88E:
* A minted partner
* Two FO's
* Up to 4B barrels
* Reduced risk
"The time is right to deal" don't you think?
I am extremely excited now and for the rest of 2019.
GLTA genuine holders.
Jiddy, we are all brothers here. I know you may be a bit down on the Aussie's but we still love ya like a bro. Please take no offence once you guys are caned in the summer of cricket!! We don't allow sandpaper on the pitch anymore!
IMHO "Scheduled" is far more positive than "Projected" or "Targeted".
DW is still responding to e mails, and I think that he knows we are all waiting with bated breath!
