Hope tasks ok, no sign for a week?
GS yes I'm ok thanks, been trying to find entries on renewable stocks, also bought lgen same as opt but under water there and ditto with av. jobs to do everywhere outside on task acres atm.
My renewables exposure is through Inv trusts:
-Greencoat UK Wind
-Greencoat Renewables
-Foresight Solar
Also some exposure through Sequoia and GCP Infrastructure
None of the pure plays massively cheap, though only at small premia to NAV. Yields are pretty good - minimum 4%, up to as much as 7%, and these should ultimately be inflation-linked so pretty good income.
Closed UJ in profit....... everything else underwater .
The drop today was more than i expected..................... allegedly due to the India Covid variant.
It just keep going round in circles
Hi @MattTheBrave, you seem well versed in renewables- I'm looking to put a portion of money into renewables (Greencoat was initially on my radar), but after reading your post, I am thinking it'd be best. to split between a few trusts. The one's you recommend seem great- I am interested in what your ideal green energy portfolio would be if you had £10000 to invest today for long term hold? Thanks! :)

mf - I'd definitely spread it around. You also need to consider whether you want to go for the high yield/small prem to Nav approach (mine) or high growth/large premium to Nav. I think the article below is well worth reading in terms of what's out there, what it's yielding, and how it's valued relative to NAV.

Ha - perhaps not quite the pure play that MF was looking for! :-)
Any undervalued VPPs out there Matt.

Opt, I'm on the water diet. Well done with UJ + catching foxt blip up, maybe gs sold his Kensington apartments ?
Have a look at afc energy chart Opt, seems really bearish on the lower frames but any news will surely test the 80 90p recent high again, what do you think ?
AFC energy...... Hi Task i would say so. its had phenomenal growth this year.... Now the fund raise is over and if it can break that double top of 74.22 it should keep on going ..Plus has some very good institutional investors But has to break that double top first

HI Task ( and all) been out all day and had my first pub drink in Ashbourne Derbyshire.
Felt great to be out and about on a sunny day.
Just seen your chart, yes well done for getting out in good profit . It dropped further than i had expected and the last 4 days red candles were weak and a bit indecisive.............. my target would have been 10790 so any thing beyond would have been a bonus .
LGEN Its going to go one of two ways either up to 280 or down to 260 which is the next strong support. As its at the bottom of the new channel there is every hope it will go back up to 280 before continuing further north. It appears to be consolidating right now around this 270 /272 level and the last two days have been green candles which is good.. The Ftse is pushing back up which all bodes well for LGEN. Lets see what Monday brings https://ibb.co/Z6KzWhT
Opt, we were talking about birds killed, have a listen to this vid.
