That’s really interesting and very exciting. Nel clearly a different beast. Fingers crossed for results next week
Here is another example.
Ceres soars on china deal 25% today.
30m in JV deal. 30m lol.
Nel and Nikola looking at USD$800 million ONE PROJECT
Nel Hydrogen February 2022.
BUT " CAN WE DO IT " well they only have 1GW of production capacity ???
They have apparently sold their soul.
"The company claimed in results released last week that it has 66 active projects in its pipeline with an average size of 124MW saying that the main uses are for producing ammonia, metal, refineries and power to gas. That amounts to a pipeline of some 8.2 GW, substantially ahead of any but the largest electrolysis companies, and given that it is only on track to introduce manufacturing facilities of 1 GW in the coming year or so, that represents 8 years of production. No-one will wait that long, so on the back of this type of deal from Mitsubishi, it will be looking for funds to build out more aggressively. It is already negotiating on manufacturing sites in Europe, the US and India."
Nel have 3 factories already 1 US, 2 Denmark and looking at a straight PEM Factory in central EU.
Nel turned down a huge AMMONIA project a few hundred metres away in heroya right near to the electrolyser factory. Nel are fitting 5mw electrolyser in Q2 but still turned them down.
Quote from the CEO in my direct question ...
"Bigger fish to fry".
Nel cannot do it all. HydrogenPro are selling upfront for 8 YEARS can they really do it ? They need big business and have it.
Nel already have the next TESLA , a project whichbis looking to supply 30% of SPAIN"s electricity WOW and Everfuel who are rolling out the hydrogen infrastructure across Europe. Nel also have Hexagon Composites, Agility, Purus and Orsted to name just a few.
As for projects to date ? HydrogenPro have 66.
My post regarding what NEL has was over 100...
so do not feel down along with the share price.
This will go big.
NIKOLA USD$800M
EVERFUEL USD$100M
IBERDROLA USD$800M
3 projects only not messing about with 50m to Mitsubishi and shipping production and soul to China. Big mistake.
MO
Agreeing with you here and good to see you haven’t left the NEL forum. Major oil is for sure be eying-up and salivating over the Hydrogen market because there are fortunes to be made and, not least, to avoid windfall taxes from governments under pressure to punish FF companies who will make another load during the transition to cleaner fuels. Am slightly wondering why NEL SP isn’t reflecting the near future (almost certain) reality.

PS: it’s Oxford, not Cambridge, where the Fusion masterclass is happening
https://www.europeanfiles.eu/environment/hydrogen-fusion-the-way-to-a-new-energy-future
I know this indicates hydrogen is created through the process of fusion, but what powers the energy process to start with?
I am on it. RR r&d is worth researching with mini local city reactors within 5 years. RR in Derby , so am I, well in the area ;-)))
Nano too worth looking at as a tip. Graphene but the proper high grade actual graphene not high grade graphite. The diff is huge but many Co's suggest not, but it is.
Hi MO, agree Nel would be a snip for big Oil. I'd love to understand what Clearstream bankings strategy is for Nel ( their biggest shareholders I think)
However the hydrogen produced by electrolysers isn't suitable for fusion I don't think
https://www.oedigital.com/news/494175-japan-s-inpex-to-spend-up-to-38b-in-growth-areas-over-9-years
Der - just an example ... Yep my head is fully blown.
38 BILLION SPEND BY ONE OIL COMPANY.
Nel Hydrogen would be a snip to buy out now dont ya think ?????
Some people simply just dont think.
I would let them take half of Nel to JV for , hmmm , USD $5-8 BILLION. The order book is already at USD$6 BILLION and Nel are only just starting.
If nuclear fusion does happen after 2025 then add another USD$5 BILLION on that ! Maybe that is too low for a company with the advantages of Nel Hydrogen ?
How long before BP - SHELL - EXXON - try to buy the supply of hydrogen ?
NEL is GLOBAL and is in most markets, and multiple countries. It is ready made for a takeover.
My guess is the business being done in the US & Europe will generate even more pressure on BIG OIL.
Its not like they dont have the money and Nel is already working with Shell USA.
Just saying.... I would so they too will be thinking about future energy. Nuclear will also pile the pressure on oil & gas.

Nuclear Fusion , Nuclear Energy powered by Hydrogen.
Todays news is Cambridge UK. Not long before RR supply mini nuclear reactors for each large town snd city, no more huge power stations on coal.
All solar, hydrogen stored/generated and electric storage/generated.
Nobody seems to get NEL IS the bigger picture.
My question is ....
Nope, missed todays important news ?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-60312633
HYDROGEN. This is the main reason. BULK H2.
Fusion uses a lot of H2.
This is a very tangled web.. with many of the same companies working together In all these projects.
A medium term prospects for the SP should be fantastic..2 year ..fingers crossed
Solid upwards movement today following positive news from Ceres. ITM also up ... Hopefully this will see a re rating to the sector
There you go , one word from me and up we go.
Cheers Major , got high hopes for this one over the next few years , nice to be in a company that might actually make a difference..
Keep ‘em coming MO. Hopefully results next week will ask as a catalyst for a move upwards….
ITM trading in a similar fashion
Key statement yesterday by #Germany's new chancellor Olaf #Scholz at press conference with Joe #Biden: "We will transform our economy to a hydrogen-based one where gas is necessary." https://t.co/GDPV6zREeT
The Yanks are ALL OVER Hydrogen , LITHIUM ( Cornish Metals = Cornish Lithium will spinoff within 6 months ) SOLAR

RAS12, They reiterated "a Buy" but reduced it from 24 to 22. But still strong in my opinion, I would love 40-50 Major, how long to that level?
NOK45-50 from me all day long.
Thanks once again MO. In same article RBC reiterates buy with 22K target (Goldmans 17)
Bye everyone. I thanks for the posts and I leave on a Goldman High.
https://m.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/NEL-ASA-1413121/news/NEL-ASA-From-Sell-to-buy-Rating-by-Goldman-Sachs-37743882/
So its not me saying buy its Goldman.
Major Oak… selfish I know but I too would ask you to reconsider. It’s unusual that so many holders/interested parties have taken the time to post all I may add unanimous in their appreciation of your research. I too share your view that this is way oversold. Hydrogen used to account for up to 40% of the gas mix in town gas and this is by far and above the easiest way to cut down emissions. However to get to 40% we’re going to need a lot and I mean a lot of electrolysers to produce that amount of green hydrogen. No company can be better placed to exploit this opportunity than Nel
Please come back MO! As you have read from the various responses, your contributions are much appreciated by so many and your level of research and knowledge can be intimidating to the silent majority on the boards but it is definitely valued. I don't have much time to post on or follow the stock boards, but I certainly notice your contributions in a number of my holdings; our portfolios must be similar. I may have challenged your full on bull case on some occasion but we do need to hear both the bull and the bear case to avoid becoming an echo chamber. Really hope you'll reconsider a come back! Have a great weekend everyone.
Nel Hydrogen US has received a contract for a containerized PEM electrolyzer to be integrated with its 700 bar H2Station® hydrogen fueling equipment package at a power generating site in the US. The project will demonstrate several use cases for green hydrogen, including cooling of the turbine generators, direct injection of hydrogen into the natural gas fuel stream at the plant, and for fueling a fleet of light duty fuel cell vehicles to be operated by the utility. Power for the electrolyzer will come from various sources, including an on-site solar PV array, making it a near carbon free source of hydrogen for all three use cases.
“This project represents an important opportunity to demonstrate the flexibility and multiple value streams offered by green hydrogen.
Major , I think there are alot of people on here who appreciate your input and because you are so knowledgeable don't feel like they can add anything to the topic. But I think we gave all bern guilty of taking you fir granted , thanks for everything
