Massive opportunity to buy in for those who do far have missed the boat
Best of luck all - especially long-term Daniel and all long termers
You deserve the endless buybacks and endless uptrend
It startin too rolle owver know sadley.
I were afrade off this hapening agane.
Upp and downe Al the tyme.
Oh! I think it corrected now. That was strange
My ISA is stating Vodafone at 89p to sell.
Is this a mistake ? Anyone else getting that?
10,662,766 bought yesterday and probably the same today 🚀
There was an RNS last night but the RNS page on this site has not been updated - sometimes better to go to a more robust source...

More pain for guttersnipe today
No rns for share buybacks yesterday
Why is that?
They didn't buy?
SP was still up by 2p
New target should be 96p
Share buy back too and the sp should enjoy a good summer.
Barclay’s target of 85p must be too low - surely other backs will issue higher targets
80p close would be great 🥳
Seems like FOMO will soon set in here. I don't mean instantly but like Rolls Royce, people will not want to miss out below 80p.
I have absolutely no idea how this is working, I mean if I have 10million shares and I know VOD are buying 10 million shares every day in ludicrously small batches of 5k ( no idea why an employee can;t do it), I mean they would go up surely?
As per keeping the shares in treasury, not happy about that, get em cancelled otherwise those greedy directors will give MVD a 10 million shares bonus
LTI
Thanks for the response - We have spoken before - comparing the LLOY buybacks versus the CNA buybacks and their impact on the respective share prices - and that is settled.
So, now can we compare the buyback expectations for the VOD buybacks versus the CNA buybacks (theses I know have stopped). My view is that VOD have performed woefully in a sector that has been out of favour with the city and investors. VOD have sold underperforming businesses and have another ongoing sale (completion 2025) and plan 4bn euro buybacks over the next 2/3 years a really large % of market cap - how do you see this impacting the share price / market cap. WOW that was a bit long winded.
Lets hope vod can finally start heading towards and past £1 for good.
margherita should take note of BTs ceo statement today.

'' I read that they intend to hold them in treasury and these may be used to satisfy various employee schemes or cancelled.''
Yes.
They have in the past (over many years) done a number of buybacks and held in treasury, a number of which were ones to offset shares issued via convertible bonds.
There has in the past been over 5 Billion shares held in treasury.
Money buying back shares will certainly go a lot further at today's prices.
Gutter, you seem very upset. You have been wrong. It's ok, we knew that already. No need to be sad.
Gutter, just winding you up a bit, as you have been doing with us
LTI - Thanks for that number, I read that they intend to hold them in treasury and these may be used to satisfy various employee schemes or cancelled. But from last nights RNS I read the already hold over 1bn shares in treasury- seems a lot - an idea of the reasons for this.
Excellent sp reaction over at BT today - perhaps the sector will come back into favour.
Robleo, I has solde owt off this junk att £1.25 somme tyme ago.
I doesn't give a dam were it do go.
My conchechunts is cleer.
When I talks on ABRDN I is dedly searious.
10,662,766 shares were purchased by MS today
No RNS - But judging by the volumes some may well have happened- reporting probably at 7am tomorrow.
Rob. Gutter never had any credibility in the 1st place, the rising share price means nothing. If the sp falls back now does that make him O.K.?
Gutter was quite happy when this was dropping and mocking us all because we were losing money, but sadly he's not man enough to admit he got it wrong, lost any credibility now
I am just trolling him Daniel.
What do you do when you find a guttersnipe on the floor? That's right, you keep kicking it.
