ICEMANZAG soo where or why have you sprung up with a consolidation? yes they do happen i know but can you name a landbased oil minnow who have had one in the UK ? er NO ,so why would you suppose there will be one with UJO ? The only remote reason i could possibly think of is if they were to apply to go into the mid 250 to make more of a market for the traders for smaller amounts of shares to manage ,this at the current stage is extremely unlikely as UJO are more interested in development than the SP.So you would have a hell of a wait if at all and, we would have taken a profit from it long before then. There is no reason for it and the number of shares is common on the aim so can you explain on here to every one why you think they would have a consolidation as and when ? i am sure we would all be interested to know
'Obvious reasons' my arse. Quite the opposite in my experience.
And brokers always underestimate for obvious reasons.
Icemanzag has every right to use the 0.84p as a maximum price, if it is the broker's target price. A lot of work goes into calculating their figures, and they'll know a great deal more than the rest of us. Of course it doesn't mean they're right, but equally there's nothing wrong with using their figure for guidance.
When David Bramhill said about '2, 3, 4p', there were considerably fewer shares than there are now. I'm sure he had got in mind what the market cap could be, and therefore what the share price could be based on the number of shares at the time. Just my opinion. DYOR
Nice post Croqman, balanced and measured. Let's leave the ramping to Heidi and her gang!!
crocqman you are absolutely right, wrong choice of word. The point I was trying to make was that the finality of the max .84 figure was baseless and unquantifiable as is 3p but the former was worded as written in stone whereas the latter was "could be". I stand corrected.
If 0.84p is deramping, then I am sure there are many investors here that will be more than happy at 'only' a 3 bag from here, some of those who loudly proclaim otherwise included.
gla
I hear you Ice...
I’m a significant LTH with this stock and wish you all well.
And before I banish you to room 101 or the playground, you have constantly spouted .84p max. What do you base this Max figure on....do you know what B1/2 will produce ?? Can you see through the rock at Biscathorpe??? No so your assessment is akin to deramping. Heid, myself and others equally cannot do the same but have taken a view that given a fairwind and successful drills then figures of 1,2 or even 3p are attainable especially as given this is aim. The shares in issue is a red herring and you should concentrate on the mcap and how it may correlate to any further discovery's( remember we already have one) and upgrades so putting a max achievable price on an unknown is politely ridiculous and not so politely school boyish. Therefore filtered for talking absolute rubbish.
one needs some Ice today but not for me, troll Friday-bibib
So Heidi is now a board administrator? I am perfectly entitled to express an opinion and mine is that the max SP here will be 0.84p, it may go to 1p for a nano second. Just look at the number of shares in issue; billions!! So a consolidation will dilute all holding significantly. Put your rose tinted specs away Heidi and pop into the real world............the headmistress act will not work with me.
Heid
That's just it. If we get an offer from a decent company like Ineos then the ujo sp will no doubt go crazy. Probably run way too high and that's when 2p or 3p spikes can happen
Could easily be a 3 or 5 bagger and even a 10 bagger as you predict.
Imo
I just took part in one with ODX and managed to get extra shares allocated, so that was pretty cool.
Cost 40p now trading at just under 60p
Let's see what occurs here next year. I would jump at the chance if all goes to plan.
I don't mind having a rights issue if / when one is really necessary, as they give the private investors a chance to participate, But they're a lot more expensive and time consuming, etc than having a placing with a smallish group of institutions. I assume this is why many small companies will always prefer to have a placing rathe than a rights issue
Please do not forget that we have Wressle going in to production very shortly that will be new income for Union Jack Oil.Mind you I am sure David and his team have already set that aside for something or other no doubt.
I would not like another fund raise at this point adv11, not that I think one is necessary.
One thing at a time please.
Having said that I would definitely join in with one if alls good and we need it for Biscathorpe in the new year.
Fully funded and Cah flow positive H2, fundraiser not required unless any bargain basement acquisitions show up but seriously we have enough quality assets to be going on with right now
Personally I think DB should do a fundraising at this point, get us funded for the future so there is no urgency going forward. But please, just raise the money from loyal shareholders and not fly-by-nights.
Ninetails, can you not read ?
Ponkey has filtered you. He isn't interested in your posts anymore.
Infact, others may have filtered you after your 'constant deramping' as Ponkey stated.
Night. x
Start again. Nine tail s he actually said when asked where the sp could go said he’d heard of estimates of 1,2,3 or4 p but anyway he wouldn’t want to short it. Not withstanding the above filtered for constant deramping by talking b...cos about a placing Tara.
knows but he had heard of t
I'm just having a read on Ineos actually Number6.
"INEOS Oil & Gas UK is a fully integrated exploration and production company. Our focus is primarily on gas production.
We make a significant contribution towards securing the UK energy supplies by means of sustainably high domestic production levels. Our focus is the Southern North Sea and West of Shetlands."
Nice fit for Union Jack for the gas maybe ?
Just the same as I have no idea why you mention 3p at the moment, it might entice future investors into this share that have less experience than you, as you do have a history of ramping...Even bigger sigh!!!
Heid
A 10bagger from here would be incredible.
I have no idea why you need to mention a placing Ninetails in your previous post.
There is NO placing needed at the moment.
We are fully funded for the rest of this year.
You will put off new investors here with your talk of placings.
Though flip this situation to next year and I would be more than happy to buy in to a placing if the story here unfolds as I would hope.
My prediction here remains 3p plus.
