Funds to pay dividends, 15% of current sp set aside, difficulties distributing due to recent tax changes but i have no doubt a solution will be found. I think it is fair to assume a 30- 35p share price shortly, being before H2 24, but could be much sooner.
Dividends are tax-efficient means to draw a salary. Given the size of the shareholding from the board, I would not discount the fact that they missed the deadline for special dividends.
In my books it merits a bit of patience up to July.
Toped up gently at this price. Hopefully if divi will come throught price will rise up more than divi 2-3p so can sell half of it.
The structure of the major shareholdings means a buyout here is just a pipe dream.
Today's RNS is merely a replay of the interim dividend delay, due to tax considerations. As then, now they are working out the most tax efficient way to pay. Note the RNS reaffirms that the dividend was out by. As with the interim, we just have to wait. Patiently. But it will come.
Still think a buyout is on the cards here. Just got that feeling.
Well at least we know a dividend coming , same as last year. Thought the tax on dividend only was effected by intrim payments.
Well it’s because they’ve just confirmed that they can’t currently find an efficient way of paying said dividend? Might need to go down the share buy back route with a much smaller token dividend.
Re inteisuin to pay dividend and price droped 8% ?
Weird.
Not really. Nov would be the interim. Did that change? So far I can see July as the final date.
A big move up this week. Bid was at 22p on Monday, and the bid was available at 24p in the last hour of trading on Friday with no takers. That's a nice move in the week.
It seems that lots of very small sales are happening. I'm holding tight to my shares.
Not a lot of volume but there is around £20k being sold quite regularly - someone is offloading
I'm starting to suspect that they are trying to get small holders out to buy this cheap. Most of the shares are in the hands of very few holders. I'm holding onto this one.
They didnt say either no divi this year so i recon must be some plan. Maybe cos a company is kept over 50% in few hands they trying to deter price to buy on deep.
Later can declare divi. If not proly next year after declaraion pice will shot over 40p and that will give us 50-80% gains on sell.
Still feel bullish about thisone. We will see
Worried about the divi now --surely perez would not be allowed to buy knowing that a divi is due to be declared
Same here. I'd been watching the price for a while and wanted a sub 25p entry. Decided to go for it the other day when the price fell and got in at 25.4p, but then down we went again. Another buy at 23p has given me my average now at a level I wanted so I won't complain unless we head to the sub 20's. I can't see that though as the business looks pretty sound and todays directors purchase announcement adds confidence to that. The cement market is reliable, cement prices have been steadily rising. I've assumed that no dividend will be made until the next June. If one is declared before happy days.
Family of Javier Perez just topd up 200k.
They know something or still think that buying at 22p is a steal. I toped up 5k as well. Hope that 2p divi still on table.
Guess I should have waited one more day ho hum
The best opportunities come when the market have got things wrong and that’s what I think has happened here. October was a new record for Kazakhstan cement production and things are recovering. The share price has way more pain baked in than is the case and now things are improving it’s moving the wrong way. I’m definitely in and increasing my hold. It wouldn’t surprise me if we still get a divi and not beyond the realms of imagination that one of these large holders wants to buy out the small free float. I’m holding because I really believe there could be a buyout on the way and if there isn’t it defo is going back up at some point. Too many big holders here for it to stay low.
Hi,
It seems the announcements re 9M results and dividend for 2023 are overdur since one week with no further scheduled news in the pipeline.
Does anyone have any experience information about that ? I contacted their IR but in vain, no response.
Whole thing seems a concern and uncertainty pushes the share price southwards.
Cheers,
Mirabell
Be grateful for the opportunity.
Is the company broken? no
Has the ownership skin in the game? yes
The boards salaries are quite low. Dividends are a tax efficient upside.
Companies go through cycles beyond their control. Me reckons they have staying power.
You won't get shares cheap unless there is some minor disruption.
Scre it I'm buying more at this price. Someone is playing games with this small freefloat.
I just decided to sell them. I dident have a big holding in this stock.
I posted a message a few months ago calling it a dog, it only just about broke even wages going up fuel costs going up and selling cement cheaper a ton for less this year than last year the maths dont add up for it to make a profit.
They implied no dividend in the RNS about the restructuring of the business. Just look for the RNS with the huge SP drop after it... 🤷🏼♂️
