Yes it sure would. I have been uncharacteristically patient with this share but it’s not endless and is beginning to run out. I’m 26% down on this one.
You should read the whole article he finishes saying don’t buy it because you think someone else might. Motley fool punt anything clearly get paid to do so.
I had a damn limit order to sell at 98p (slight loss). Just my bloody luck this year honestly.
Right I must be a muppet for buying low and selling high and repeating. If that’s a muppet then I’m happy to be one. You keep holding while it drops you moron.
Cong - This may be news to you but it is possible to sell and then buy again at a different price - wont miss this board at all I wont be buying back in again. This one is for gamblers and the delusional most of whom you will find on this board.
Had enough of the BS - it’ll probably go up now you watch!
Kim it’s pretty obvious really when you think about. This share is up and down like a tarts knickers so many are in and out like….., well you get the analogy 😂
Sometimes when I’m in I want the share to go up and other times when I’m out and looking to get back in I want the share to go down. I’ve made a fair bit on trading this one up and down.
However that means very little with thg the market seems to be completely random when it reacts to any rns
29/01/2024 story.
WTF?
I’m waiting for an opportunity to get out here - hoping for 80p then I’m dumping the lot.
Price is odd today seems a big tree shake?
How do I manage to pick the shares that the market reacts insanely to?
I don’t see how 290 is “too high” it’s now sitting at around 7.7 p/e and profits/revenue are increasing. If anything it’s too low at 290. Marginal missing of expectations doesn’t warrant this drop. Oh well no point waiting for the market to be rational.
I would expect it to recover some today as people buy back in for the dividend but nothing is predictable these days. I think it’s an overreaction tbh 17% drop for “marginal” missing of expectations? It’s still profitable and the business is still going in the right direction. Odd. Seems to be a lot of panicky holders and that in itself makes me think twice.
Might be a good idea to look at the share in the portfolio with agm’s or trading updates coming up and think about reducing before they come
Jinxed it
Yes I wish I’d bought at the bottom instead of the top - oh well as long as it gets back I suppose
Price is finally moving today anyone know what’s going on? Does someone know something we don’t yet know?
Yes I did say it was at its lowest level of shorts, because it was! It now isn’t it has now increased. What’s inconsistent about that? I’ve been a holder on and off for 2 years I lost a lot initially but got a lot back by dipping in and out. I’m not claiming to have always got it right but I have managed mainly to buy low and sell higher. When the shorts start to increase I tend to get out for a while and come back if the price drops. Doesn’t always work but usually does and I’ve got a lot back this way.
