25% 7 day drop on no bad news? In fact good news. The RNS was positive. WTF?

Can anyone make sense of this? Seems a little dodgy that there were director sales just before this big drop.

No I don't understand - sell and move on I understand - Hold and talk the price down I don't understand. Unless you actually want the stock to go down which is an odd thing to want for anyone holding stock. Only rational explanation is shorters talking the stock down to make money. Irrational explanations are chatting on a board that you hold no stock for to buy it lower, holding stock but wanting the price to go down or just feeling bitter for a stock youve lost money on. All a little sad really.

I really don't understand why anyone holding shares would constantly play down the stock. Ok maybe there are a few on here who feel bitter about some of the past and that they are down but that still doesn't mean it makes sense to constantly have a go. We all want to see the price go up right? That is right isn't it?

I can only imagine people have got jittery with the inside selling. They own a significant amount of shares which in itself is a good thing. I'd expect them to sell and go on selling after a decent rise in sp. As long as they still hold a lot that what counts and they do.

These blips don't come around very often - Just loaded up on a 10% drop that makes absolutely no sense given the trading statement.

Yes Mr Thompson does seem to write advertorials for the highest bidder. Been caught out a couple of times with his bad tips. I stopped subscribing to the IC a while back. Seems a bit dodgy. FT in general tend to take down any good shares being shorted heavily and back a lot of crappy companies.

Ok Well I feel for you sounds like you fellas have had quite a crummy time with this one. 4.5 p is my stop for this I wont lose too much but you never know there's alwasy a chance it will bounce.

Oh really? You feel that your comment is now realistic because it has slightly dropped below 5p. Its hardly struggling to keep above 5p . Even if it was and does in the near future thats not the problem the problem is you claim to "know" what the future holds and can predict what is going to happen to a share which clearly you do not. Anyone can make comments on a board and come back later and say "see I told you so" to only the ones that actually turn out to be true. I'm wary of anyone who tries to make out they are some kind of fortune teller or have magical predicting powers. THis ones a punt for me. I'm happy to cut my losses if this starts to fall below 5p consistently which it is not really doing yet.

Obviously the best thing to do with SQZ is selling the day before ex-div and buy them back on the ex-div day. An insane drop today.

Ex div tomorrow and a fairly decent dividend surely there will be plenty of buyers today? It’s how much it will drop tomorrow that is the question.

My god man give it a rest you just say the same thing over and over. The share price is going to drop below 5p blah blah blah. Ok that’s your opinion. Just say it once though man unless you have something new to say don’t bother. Unless your intention is to fill the board with negativity which I’m starting to suspect it is.

Can anyone help me out here I have no idea what the open offer is or what I need to do. I am an existing shareholder. My limited understanding is they will issue 1 share for every 26 shares I have but do I need to fill out an application or will this happen automatically? I don’t understand the RNS at all.

Except I didnt say it was "definitely" going down to 45p I said I would buy if it did. Nobody should listen to anyone who says they "definitely" know what a share is goin gto do becuase nobody does. Jeez man.

No I'm not. If I were I would have said that. It didnt fall to 45p and yes I do regret not buying at 50p mark. If I did I would have sold yesterday. I have made a little on this in the past but missed this windfall. I'll probably buy back when it settles down around 50-60p. Heres whats going to happen in the next few weeks. A low ball offer comes in. It gets refused. SP tanks down to 50-60p mark. Then I'll buy and wait for the MBO or at least the next rise up to 90p.
