I always thought “Resistance is. .. futile” comes from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, shouted by the young (dim) Vogon Constructor Fleet guard tasked with escorting Ford Prefect and Arthur Dent to the airlock they having failed to adequately enjoy the Captain’s poetry.
Fortissimo, the force will be with us!!:):)
First time I recall being totally out since I bought in, in 2013.
I just feel it's a good time for some trading, because I don't foresee anything happening in the next few months at least, contrary to the narrative that's being pushed on here.
Right or wrong?
Knowing my luck, probably massively wrong, but we'll see.
I'm looking at 16ish for an entry point.
13 and I'll go 50% of my pension savings.
Just a reminder. This is cheap, even if the market says it's not.
"Try not to get caught up in absolutes"! That's all you've been doing for the past few weeks.
As for your exhortation for me to relax, I'm pretty certain I've been holding this share for an awful lot longer than you, so I can assure you I'm completely relaxed.
Even that isn't a certainty, is it, add? Try not to get caught up in absolutes- there are continuums of probability for every outcome. Is it more likely that we'll experience a TO than go to production? Sure. Is it more likely that we'll be diluted to oblivion or mine this ourselves? Oblivion. Is Bob going to find a buyer in 2023? Less likely than 2024. Will I be apologetic if I'm wrong? 100%, but I'm confident enough in the signs to know that probably won't be necessary.
As I say- don't be swayed by the rampers into binary thinking. They've talked about an imminent bid since BHP first took a stake. They've embarrassed themselves countless times, and continue to do so with each condescending dismissal and each passing month.
Just relax. If you need a quicker return, go elsewhere. If you're comfortable, stick around. All good.
Love him or hate him, the guy talks a lot of sense...
Just look at this graph from the FT...

" Resistance is ... futile! "
Hey Fort. ........ That's from Star Trek.......a catchphrase of The Borg. ( You really don't want to get caught identifying with them, btw ) They are relentless, collectivist aggressors who brook no dissent or opposition, with terrible skin and even worse breath.
You have no more of an idea how things will turn out than any of us. The ONLY certainty is that we will not be taking this to production.
Resistance is ... futile!
Just not underwater, and not in a rush. I think that's why I'm able to see that this won't be sorted any time soon. Not blinded by the need for an immediate sale like some here.
Great 18.26 high...
Solid close...
Question is...has this closed at the previous resistance, or on the new support...?
The rest of the week may tell...seemed to be solid background buying interest in this today despite volume below recent averages...
Seey'all tmrw...
1981, you seem remarkably sure of yourself, which is odd given what's going on at the moment.
Slug, don't be thick. No investor dreams of dilution. Just a realist. You'll get it eventually.

As I say: won't stop people dreaming.
Didn't notice slug was back... keep your neck in this time and all good.
My take on this is that he's been appointed in fulfil the role when our non-Alpala assets are hived-off into Newco. Bear in mind, a full time CFO is a requirement for a new listing.
... that are certain of an imminent sale appoint permanent CFOs?
Price is moving up nicely as it was probably oversold. Not a huge fan of churn at this level as low average newcomers make a climb higher harder, but at least volume isn't massive.
No imminent sale then, by the looks of it, but that won't stop people dreaming of one.... Enjoy the rise, and hope to repair some of the damage to the sp that the current band have caused.
Hey DinnerMoney,
No expert on this but probably the three main metals’ prices over time don’t move exactly the same therefore the mix allows for hedging against the different peaks and troughs?
Firmly over 18p level again
Hardly any LSE traded stock on the offer
With thanks to HH...
"The Company is also focused on advancing the Cascabel Project in a cost effective and value maximising
manner. The Cascabel Project team is rigorously reviewing all opportunities to de-risk the project, reduce
costs and further improve project economics. In light of the evolving capital cost environment, numerous
value enhancing aspects currently being studied and the potential positive impact of these aspects on both
capital and operating costs, it is expected that the Cascabel DFS and the Porvenir PEA will be delayed. The
Company is proceeding with the Cascabel DFS as the next stage.
The Company is also taking initiatives to restructure the organisation, including a reduction in the workforce
across all areas of the Company to ensure more appropriate levels of personnel are in place, whilst it also
begins a process to hire a permanent Chief Financial Officer. The Company is taking steps to reduce the
number of time zones of its operations and is focusing resources in-country to best advance Cascabel and
surrounding high-priority targets."
I had assumed Pad was taking the p*** as it made no sense to him, the video is in English
I'd lover to see that Monte...is that opinion or do you have substance to share...
Meanwhile, delighted to see 18p go...IMO if we hold above 17.70 and close in the 18s, we're into new territory...
Next target bust 19p with momentum...
I haven't looked. I thought someone to said it was in Spanish
