Magoo, not sure about the SR going AWOL. We've been told it will be completed by end June and personally, I'm not expecting any news prior to that ( I'll be delighted if something emerges beforehand, but I'm managing my expectations)
As for the other stuff, you're right; it's as if the company has been mothballed and although we've been told various things are ongoing, we've seen no evidence to suggest they are.
If nothing else, I was expecting to see something about closing various offices (London and Brisbane) and an explanation of further rationalization. Perhaps this will appear in the next MD&A?
We raised cash, execs feathered their nests, we stopped spending (no drilling mentioned in ages), no operational news for months, merger completed, strategic review gone AWOL: all this to me means they are discussing a sale of Alpala or of the whole company. It may take a few more weeks or months but this is where it's going. And it's not going for peanuts. Just keep accumulating and sit back.
70p paid in gold medallions with Nick's portrait
U needalife pal
Just for a bit of fun, let's start a game of guessing the share price when we sell.
My guess... 53p.
The sp is getting into the traditional or historic SOLG launch pad area. I think the stock has launched from low to mid 20's 3 or 4 times and each time passed 39p/40p levels.
Dilution has occurred over last couple of years but I think most recognise that the 100% ENSA stake post merger more than balances the books on that aspect. So 40p of old is like 40p today with 100% ENSA.
3 for me.
The way we're heading, I'll up my price from 30p to 45/50p.
3 @ 50p
I'd have said 1 to align with the 'cabs off the rank' analogy, but one of our major shareholders in WI has stated 3 on a number of occasions now. Scott was also very keen to stress there are no more licence blocks being granted by the Ecuadorian govt now, so that too adds value and the Chinese know this.
3 for me.
Sale of Solgold to Chinese! IMHO! LOL!
Hopefully soon before the board load their pockets some more!
You just need some support from Bubble there Pad , he'll be along soon
Lol add
Didn’t dare say that in case the Stazi reported me
No3 for me JG @ over £1 per share
All of them except number 10 - only a deranged lunatic would vote for that one. I like covering my bets.
Yep...2.4 million traded...comfortably the highest volume ever on TSX...touched 23.1 equivalent....
Canadians I n the know...?
Shrewd observation Fort.
No doubt the boiler-room paid derampers will show up soon. They’re really struggling now. Their paymasters must be fuming at their failing, futile performances.

What on earth is colonelDrake on about.
10% of the world copper supply.
It's not even 1%.
Likely to be Chinese takeaway as lets face it, if or when they finally pen that historic Ecuador trade deal... what a lovely headline it would make to have Chinese takeover SOLG and become effectively become the defect, largest and most influential mining player in the country with world class resources.
Basically that Chinese PM's sorted for next 100 years assuming they strike it lucky with a few others in the folio...
Whoever bags SOLG is in effect gaining close to 10% share (pending mine production of course) of world's entire global copper supply. The Gold and silver is just cream on cake.
Lasso will look like top dog king maker if he delivers Chinese Free trade deal and biggest mining investment/partner deal in entire history of Ecuador mining.
Chile, Peru, Costa Rica and soon to be Ecuador. The US must be spitting bullets.

3 for me been here a few years and looking forward to what’s coming.
Number 7 appears to have taken place already with Scotty boy bagging 30m shares at 17p.
Amazing how the share price hung around those levels and since Scott got his cheap options, the sp seems to be going great guns.
Timing is everything... isn't it Scott!?
1 or 3 for me but it will probably be number 7.
Any of 1-4… I don’t care who buys.
1 or 3
1) should read "Sale of Cascabel to Chinese "
Why not everyone state which you choose about the future of Solg etc and we can then see who guessed correctly. Anyone not committing themselves will not be allowed to brag afterwards :
1) sale of Cascabel
2) sale of Cascabel to another
3) Sale of all of Solg to Chinese
4) Sale of all Solg to another
5) JV of Cascabel
6) JV of Regionals
7) Nothing for another 12 months and Directors lining their pockets
8) loss of all licenses as Govt Ecuador fed up with Directors of Solg
9) Sale of Regionals
10) Solg going to production by themselves
11) something else not included in 1) to 9) above
I'm going for 3) as Chinese can bid more than anyone else and produce mine cheaper as they have lower labour costs as they will use Chinese labour and next to zero Health and Safety standards
Winners can brag as much as they want
