I am surprised the all the various licences will take until the end of 2025 to be received - either the Ecuadorian govt are in no hurry to have a mine built, we are in no hurry to build a mine or is it a case we have to pay for the licences and we just don't have the money to to do so - any ideas guys
Tesla, yes. Mainly due to the fact we have many more shares in issue.
NAL, I know in modern life we've all been told that we must accept the ludicrous doctrine that everyone's opinion is as valid as anyone else's, but each time you post you amply prove just how misguided this is.
Sorry, should be Given, not giving.
Giving your in depth knowledge of solg Tesla1, what do you see as the ultimate outcome for the company?
Crystal ball gazing I know, but put your credibility on the line and tell us what you think will happen to solg as a final outcome? Any fool can critique other posters post. Add value by giving us something original please.

Not really sure about your point about turning the question round, they have hidden behind confidentiality, closed periods etc for many many years, after a while surely, even an investor like yourself, can’t keep on looking for hope that just isn’t there.
Just look at the facts SR, companies in the data room……yadayadayada……..it’s all BS designed to keep shareholder hanging on.
.
If you were not invested would you invest now, probably not but you like many others won’t sell, just in case they pull the rabbit out of the hat.
Is your expectation of an exit price lower than it was a year ago?
Telsa. You've hit the nail on the head regarding mathers arrogance and greed upsetting the big boys.
I said on hear many times that mather could pick a fight with himself in the bath.
Ive also said on many occasions mather will be outsmarted by the likes of irwin and the big boys.
Solg could and should of been sold years ago.
In the end his beligerents cost him his job.
Unfortunately the damage was done before people woke up.
To many of the likes of padmasters and adikts, wringing their hands, has cost us all dearly
Adikt. The same as padmaster, you can only repeat that same old see no evil hear no evil say no evil for so long.
Padmaster, Copperpot, bbg and one or two others have repeated that same sad wishful thinking fo 7 or 8 years.
In fact all the way from 50p to 12p.
I can’t help but feel we are desperate after watching that interview. We stuck the for sale sign on the company with the announcement of the SR. We had no buyers so we pivoted and suggested we’re open to JVs. No one has taken that bait so we’re now reworking the PFS for what will be the third time.
The SR will remain “open-ended” until someone makes some sort of offer for Cascabel - and whether it is a buyout or JV we will jump at it. The chat about JVs on the regionals is wearing very thin for me - we’ve been discussing these for years at this point and nothing has materialised. Why? Are we being to demanding with our terms?
The credibility of the company and viability of the asset is very much on the line in Q1 next year.
Tesla, the cynicism surrounding the company is completely understandable, but ultimately it comes down to whether people believe in the CEO or not. It's my view he's credible, honest and is getting on with the task in hand, but that's simply my opinion.
As to your point about what else he could say, you can turn that question round. In other words, he can't reveal what's actually going on - his hands are bound by confidentiality. So yes, what else could he say?
Addicknt
What else can he possibly say?
To me his comments are a bit like the stars in the papers, they cover every scenario and people read into the stars what they want to, when at the end of the day it’s mumbo jumbo……not saying Scot is talking mumbo jumbo btw
Where's 'novice' the master investor? lolol
Sorry, should have added thanks to DM for posting.
I thought this interview was more interesting than any presentation he's done and for once he was asked some decent questions.
Since I happen to believe he's not a liar, I'm prepared to take him at face value when he states there are lots of parties interested and multiple options are being discussed. I also thought his analysis of the risks was valuable, particularly the technical issues. And I completely disagree that he's no better than Mather and DC. I just hope I'm not proved wrong!
Your post is just hope, there is nothing to indicate anywhere that anything you wrote is closer to happening.
All investors whose investment has performed poorly place their hopes on a rabbit out of the hat scenario before AGMs as they can’t accept the facts as they are. If major corporate events are happening, behind the scenes( unlikely imo)they won’t wait until pre agm to announce it, that isn’t how it works.
The sp is dropping because time is ticking by and the company need a monetisation event to kick start something, the longer it goes without that, the more precarious the situation is. It is as simple as that. The die hard rampers will cry manipulation but the fact is SOLG is up against time before they need more cash.
Perhaps there were interested suitors many years ago when Mather was running the show but he was quite greedy or just believed the hype in here, either way he should not have irritated the big boys with his arrogance and Solg may have been in a better position now…….
Padmaster. Interesting article in simply wall street this morning.
"New major risk - Financial position
The company has less than a year of cash runway based on its current free cash flow trend.
Free cash flow: -US$79m
This is considered a major risk. With less than a year's worth of cash, the company will need to raise capital or take on debt unless its cash flows improve. This would dilute existing shareholders or increase balance sheet risk.
Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company:
Major Risks
Less than 1 year of cash runway based on free cash flow trend (-US$79m free cash flow).
Revenue is less than US$1m.
Minor Risks
Currently unprofitable. "
Clearly the journalists are infesters.
Wondering if it warrants one of your dittys.
There’ll be action before the AGM . Whose interest is it to have SC replaced ? Will the non BHP “interested” parties want to risk losing out if another Cuzzubbo is installed ? Will any new government want to go back to square one ?
We’re closer than ever to the first bid or corporate action that will start the ball rolling ......imo
At least we had regular updates and regular price marches under Mather!
Mather said the same spiel 5 years ago..
Thanks DM. So £300k per penny above 17
That’s why he’s there. Make no mistake nobody at that stage of a successful career is in a tip of a country for any other reason than to feather their nest
I’m expecting a crap bud maybe even 19p before the general meeting
Good evening SharketMare.
I don't get incensed about anything.
But you are correct in this is going slower than I thought.
I am in no rush.
Forget any JV or any more exploration, it’s been about a sale for a while now. Silly games going on
Caldwell has a crap salary and has relocated the butthole of South America to see this out. Those manipulating the price are trying to flush him out
He’s got 7m? Options at 17p and he’s not in Ecuador to find a new life for his family. He’s there to make those options pay. The squeeze is on, we will see a move very soon
It seems that every presentation Scott does is then followed by drip drip share price erosion.
I know exploration (eg getting permits) is no easy task in Ecuador right now but I think the most disappointing thing over the last 18months is that we were told that they were discussing potential partner deals on the exploration assets. The question that really needs firmly placing at Scott and Maxit's feet is WHY haven't you farmed or JV'd out some licence blocks, keep a % stake and let the JV partner do earn in agreement based deals that way we can continue with exploration but not worry about the cash burn.
So while the ENSA/ Alpala sale or PFS tweaks continue into Q1 2024... lets have some partner deals announced and get some exploration underway.
It's not acceptable to just say... we are conserving cash so have parked the exploration. What you need to do is find a way to deliver exploration (in that scenario) via JV deals. Can't be hard can it considering it nigh impossible to get new acreage in Ecuador that isn't in disputed territory.
So forget the prolongued ENSA stuff... what about the rest of the biz? Why haven't management converted some JV partner deals??
Pointless little fat scotch entertainer
Any relation?
