Evening all….just a continuation from my morning post I was also under the impression that one of our near surface mines would finance a percentage of construction at Alpala ? (Through its mining).
I didn’t expect a reply but surprisingly got some nonsense about using the strong sell opinion button means I will get banned?? I’ve used it here does that mean I will get banned?? Seriously tinyray you are ill. The more nonsense you post on a sunny weekend the stronger the phone conversation will be Monday morning have a lovely weekend…
None of the posters there are posting strong sell novice, you're trolling the board...
You will get banned...
Contacting admin by phone on Monday morning, this is tantamount to bullying expect some action bully

I will be dribbling in the nursing home by the time SOLG get into production at Alpala, and hopefully the dribbling won't start for another 25 years.
By then my stake here will buy me a couple of days in there instead of two weeks at Sandy Lane for the wife and I this year.
Open cut may well be achievable in 12-18mths but how are we going to get the copper out of the area, helicopter ?
The only prediction I will make is this, if Alpala gets bought out you won't here any apology from the production guru here for being wrong.
For now I'll be content to have a whinge on here a couple of times a week when one of the experts jerk my chain.
BBQ time, Bye !
Zoros again you are suffering from not reading disease.
The 2029 date is for the full block cave operation.
Good afternoon addicknt.
First of all BFS not required for funding, a DFS will suffice.
However I believe you are referring to the DFS.
Next if staged we can finance this even sooner and start construction sooner.
Typical open cut can be achieved in 12-18 months.
Hence we are at production in 2025.
Agreed not a block cave operation, but we are producing.
Just look at the Reuters article I posted earlier. Other companies in advanced exploration stage. But production start dates in 2023.
Quart what happened to the bit where DC said the mine odds on course for production in 2029 with the possibility of tandyama reducing the period by 2 years by opening up as an open pit???
2025, you really are delusional on an epic scale.
Made me laugh though.
Z
Not a chance. The BFS isn't due until the end of next year (which means it'll roll-over into 2024) They've then got to raise the readies, which will take a fair amount of time. Surely you don't expect them to have a mine up and running in 12 to 18 months? It's a complete fairy story.
Forgive my ignorance on this subject. Why is the difference between LSE and TSX SP allowed to exist? Surely steps should be taken to keep parity between the 2? What would prevent someone buying cheap shares on LSE and selling them on TSX for the higher price?
Yes I do addicknt, so does \solgold and so does the mining minister.
Guess we are all delusional.
You must be so gifted to know better than the real experts.
Q, and you believe the company will have Alpala up and running by 2025 do you? Delusion on an epic scale.
Yep, get the feeling we might get news next week. About time too. Might be Moran... might be financing ... might be jv talk... grass root deals....IPO ENSA plans...could be loads of things.
The drift down from 28.5p earlier in week was on no volume at all. The larger volume buys over last few weeks have all been near or above 30p. You can't get more than a few 100k blocks on SOLG without the sp being back at 28p levels fast. So traders and newbies should enjoy the little nibble trades they can get when price is sub 25p. Fro those on sidelines, with 400k+ shares needed to be bought back etc... that's not going to be easy when there's a load of other folk doing the same.
I get the feeling the next bit of news could be 'big'. Irwin too quiet these days and as another poster said... there are confidentiality contracts being signed all over the place at SOLG towers. Wonder what's so hush hush then!! Also still perplexed as to why Blackrock bought back almost 1% when they knew the market was wobbling. Why didn't they wait? Seems odd for a trading firm to make a mistake like that. They could have bought back at 28p/29p levels instead of the 34p/35p level.
TSX has been more bullish than LSE for a while now. Someone trying to gather stock before news but via TSX (off radar compared to LSE??
11 trade on Friday I noticed hmm let's see next week gla onwards and upwards solgers
Big jump on tsx I see hmmm let's see what happens next week
All the rubbish that is printed on here by so called experts including our resident CEO and banker ignore facts and say this is impossible.
However we know Solgold are talking to government and we know the start of production for Solgold is 2025.
This is completely obtainable.
Thank you smallacorns for reminding me of this story.
This article is 10 months old but by Reuters, so a good source.
https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/ecuador-expects-4-major-mining-projects-start-up-by-2025-2021-09-17/
Although I don’t read all (erm…if and when we get them !!) thoroughly the R.N.S.They do read to me as if they’re taking solgold to production whether a bid comes in we’ll be the last to know also when reading mining news from Ecuador ,comes across they’ll have 4 working mines by 2025 ? .This is a painfully slow share to hold and watch good luck all l.t.h’rs
Agree Damers
The whole sector been bummed recently. They have to get something sorted and quick or they’ll be gone come December, I’m confident they will. As I said there’s a reason we haven’t raised.
The disparity between TSX and here is very odd
Damers look at the skillsets of the latest appointment's.
They are the skills required to construct a mine. Nothing to do with any bid. Which by the way Solgold have recently reported that not only are their no bids but no one even entering discussions.
This is a simple case of twisting the facts to try and get your world view.
Rather than looking at the facts and drawing the most logical conclusion.
Morning Sean.
A bid / JV announcement will come. We have 4 high calibre Execs (Inc CFO) joining SOLG within the space of a couple of months.
They would not have signed up without bullet proof assurances that SOLG is on the verge of hitting the big time.
Have a good weekend.
Damers.
Deramping? Give me a break. We need a bid, it's as simple as that.
Jeez, Sean ……. Just sell up if you think it’s going to 10p . Cut your losses and save yourself the stress.
