BNC Interesting to get a mention from NCM .... on wonders with their eyes firmly set on their own issues and a lack of liquidity, are NCM's priorities still necessarily aligned with BHP's ? I see their "strategic investment" as exactly that now, get the best price from whoever is prepared to pay, same as the rest of us
The volume continues to be abysmal...
The GGP share price may be half SOLg's but they have volume over 5 million today compared to our 200k or so...
However, this means that, while nobody is buying, nobody is selling either.
The only problem being the MMs constantly marking this down to stimulate business.
There is an eerie silence. It could mean incompetence, or it could portend news...please...any news...not just the MD&A...
Is this the first time Newcrest have actually included SLOG in its presentations?
Don’t recall ever getting a mention previously

Announcing a plan gto IPO Cascabel...or even Porvenir. (Green Rock Resources) ..would light a fire under the shares...especially if it incited BHP to action...
Sadly DBW that could well be the case
If you haven't already, might be a good idea to open an account on ADVFN Free BB, ready for the time when Quady, Massive and otghers finally kill this Board off...
Hallelujah Italian!
Very interesting article reflecting opinions from elsewhere, including copper putting in a bottom of maybe $1600/1660 before the inevitable boom to $15,000 and beyond...
And remember we are a copper/god play with, in my opinion, a degree of correl;ation with the gold price, hence SolGOLD...

Some individuals are good, some are bad.
Some are smart, some are dumb.
Some are sociable, some are socially inept.
Individually there is only so much positive or negative impact we can have on others.
But when we come together we all tend to get worse because it's difficult not to waste an opportunity to shut up and not engage.
So the BB as a collective mind becomes a cancer itself, UNLESS we all individually maintain some discipline and decorum, filter the bad ones and the useless ones, and decline to engage when not necessary and relevant.
We are all part of the outcome, stop blaming others, take responsibility and start by doing what is more appropriate to keep the BB productive and enjoyable.
Again DBW your ridiculous, Pinot is probably the best person on this forum, and I really doubt like you she would support Slug.

Thanks Pinot ..... you may be in trouble for posting something Solg related

I would for one. It may be an OZ company but it's listed on a UK exchange and as you say the majority of it's shareholders are in the UK.
many of you would like to see the company hold the AGM in London?
Providing a video link is no substitute for physical presence. The company can avoid difficult questions and the board avoids the trickier follow-ups which provide far greater scrutiny.
Many businesses used covid as an excuse to scrap physical General Meetings, which they all hate, and continue to use this as a means of avoiding proper scrutiny.
I know the company will say the h/o is in Oz, but I'm pretty sure the majority of retail investors are based in the UK. It's time they recognized this and allowed us to have an uncensored voice.
Who sais Nick, Warren..are not worried?
Am out at 59p now this share is turning into a disaster inho
If theres a takeover, Darryl's bonuses will be pretty obscene for what he's done so far...
red knight - the volumes pony. BHP, NCM, Norges, Blackrock et al are not selling. It's just pi's getting squeezed and rightfully depressed. It's not pretty out there but getting close to bottom now imho. Inflation figures will turn post October. Rate rises will be smaller and the market will look ahead.
And the best bit... while everyone is feeling the pinch and the government are doing energy bail outs to businesses and tax payers... Truss's government think it's a good time to lift the cap on bankers bonuses!!!?? You couldn't make it up!
So the tax payer bails the bankers out in 2008/2009. The bankers then don't pay the tax payer back at all and return to sizeable bonuses but better managed. And now, just as we head into a recession... it's time to fill the bankers pockets again?
Someone tell me what the xxck is going on as surely someone is talking the pi55?? The tories have lost the plot!
Fawzi is travelling until 28 September...
I wonder if he's going to London...?
CGP and DGR both sitting at 2.1/2 year lows...not surorising as SOLG is also...
Intertwined fortunes, so why aren't Nick, Brooke and Warren more worried...?
SM, nicely summarized. I imagine the majority of us feel the same way.
It doesn't make NCM/BHP stronger if you do a Rights Issue, a Placing or a Royalty deal...
Unless you place with either or both or a rights issue is undersubnscribed and they pick up more shares...
But a $20m issue would make no material difference...
