Eloro there’s nothing wrong with being well prepared! You clearly weren’t a scout or guide 🤷♂️
A big dirty fast petrol car, of course
Eloro, how lovely! You've got a friend! Mind you, they say you can judge someone by the friends he keeps, so I'd be a bit careful if I were you. And I'm sorry I'm optimistic, but that's the problem with being able to read the various recent announcements and actually understanding them.
I think we can all recall your statement that you were going to enjoy coming on here when everything went t!ts up and rubbing our noses in it. Hmmm. If I were you I'd start preparing your defences, as I think it's fair to say some less charitable folk may enjoy turning the tables on you. Obviously, I won't be one of them...much.
I hear you NAL. The SP isn't even 10p, let alone 25p, and already the buntings are out and street parties are in full swing across the nation! They claim that the SP isn't important, yet a fraction of a penny up, and some folks are beside themselves with glee!
I will wait until I see a meaningful outcome before I start ordering the fast car!
Eloro. I don't think we need to base to much on today's share price.
The exuberance on the board is forecasting major movement in the near future.
With so much going on in the background, they must be right.
Bbg is even forecasting £2 a share, after his email from that solg director.
Reminds me of years ago when we played guess the sp for Xmas.
Anything from £2 to £12 as I recall.
Must of been 5 or 6 years ago.
Time flies when your having fun
A decent couple of weeks for sure, and TBH I'd prefer a steady rise as opposed to a rocketing sp that only pulls back and hopefully some more solid news next week to push us though the 9p resistance levels.
Must meet for that pint in Hale or The Stamford when this is all over Damers. ATM, C
Add, please restraint your natural exuberance! Scott hasn't scored where it matters. So far, he hasn't converted your wishful thinking and unbounded optimism into cash in our bank accounts. All he has been doing is talking, with no profitable outcome as of yet.
Finally, please do not underestimate Scott's ability to muck things up and to drop the ball. He has form. Just look at the SP if you require a reminder.
It's not the positivity that sets us apart,
It's the expectation.
And the constant need to reassure each other, with fanciful wishful thinking.
Has had a good run this month, looks like breaking into 9000 territories, next week looks interesting.
have a great weekend Solgers
Good to see Scott already back in Ecuador.
I'm getting a bit distressed by all this positivity. Anyone would think we've had some good news recently. Even most of the doom-mongers have disappeared and those who still post have toned it down a bit, although there are some honourable exceptions who are fighting a desperate rearguard action as they attempt to spin and deflect their way away from the bleedin' obvious.
This has been a good few weeks and the icing on the cake would be an England victory this evening. If they maintain last weeks form they should manage it.
Looks like our green credentials are getting us places
“With the aim of recognizing the management of the company SolGold (Exploraciones Novomining S.A), the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Ecological Transition (MAATE) made official the delivery of the "Green Initiative Distinction", for the results obtained through the Reforestation Program. 1M: planting of native species and rehabilitation of disturbed areas.” The event took place today, March 15, 2024, in Quito and was chaired by Nancy Sarrade, Undersecretary of Environmental Quality of the MAATE.
In that sense, the 1M Program intervened 172.48 hectares, where 226,689 native forest species were planted with the support and participation of the staff of the Cotacachi Cayapas National Park, which reflects the joint work between the private sector and the National Government.
During her speech, Undersecretary Sarrade congratulated the company for its achievement and reaffirmed the Ministry's support for initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, "these actions are proof that legal and responsible mining is possible, implementing actions that go beyond of current environmental regulations and always ensuring the development of Ecuadorians,” he stated.
For his part, Scott Caldwell, president of SolGold Ecuador, highlighted the importance of such initiatives in contributing towards a more sustainable development of the country, "we are proud to receive this recognition, the first for a mining exploration company in the country, which "It reflects our unwavering commitment to caring for the environment," he said.
The Green Point initiative is an institutional mark granted by the Ministry of the Environment to companies whose activities are aimed at optimizing natural resources in their production and consumption processes, in order to reduce negative environmental impacts towards the natural environment, in especially in sensitive ecosystems and thereby improve the quality of life of our citizens.
The MAATE invites public and private sector companies to access the different incentives led by this State portfolio and thus join efforts to build a more sustainable future”

Damers, it would seem that our the boxes are being ticked for the ESIA as the agency in the photo is the Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition. These guys are the group which sign off on the ESIA.
This could be our next big news!
From hereon in it's all about the funding mix for opex and project capex. It is this uncertainty that is holding back the price
"Mather wanted 100p back in 2018... The goalposts have since been moved and I expect the expectation is 200p "
fantasy becoming the norm
Every day in every way Solgold is looking better and better, Chinese definitely going to be a strong contender for us. This week ahead should start to firm up the sp from here on in, hope Solgold board are spoilt for choice in offers
Atb
From 6 - 8.5p in a couple of weeks is not to be sniffed at Solgers. However, a bit surprised we have not seen more substantial daily jumps. The good news is flowing thick & fast and we still await the announcement of a JV, partial or full sale. The next 4-6 weeks is going to be a blast.
A busy day in the Damers household today with birthday parties, piano lessons, swimming, out for lunch and then of course watching the finale of the Six Nations. Have a great Paddies weekend Solgers.
The future's (very, very) bright.
P.S. no top slicing until we hit at least 30p - thems the rules :-)

Coming to a mine near you soon....
Pajero?
The obfuscated asterisks rhymes with banker
interesting feature on bloomberg at the moment that gen z chinese are shielding from deflation in china with is low growth and interest rates by investing in “gold beans”
these are 1 gram beads at around $83 that are often used in jewellery.
some tiktok ****** who is part of the booming trend is saying “you can’t lose money in gold”
and cascabel is a huge gold play. how do we get this generation that has the attention span of a goldfish to look beyond these “beans” and into taking a stake in explorers?
Oh! Caldwell should be pulling up trees to get this done not virtue signalling about planting them
Baby steps I guess
I think it's a green initiative project, replanting of some form
And with US rates predicted to come down over the next 12 months one could argue that commodity prices are primed for upward moves rather than the contrary to that
Oh no... it's all kicking offffffffff! PoG going to $3000oz this year... Copper $11k...
Scott... put them brakes on... don't sell until 2025!
Sarcasm aside... things are looking rather chipper for SOLG apart from current share price. Surely the market is not that dopey? We should be in the teens by now.
We are long overdue a few 15% and 30%+ days and once through 8.9p... we should be back to double digits pretty fast.
