Yes Mathers. Clearly the two of them know each other closely.
Paymaster,
I was just reading similar, I never had put these together before

The plot thickens...
Very interesting.
BHP recently had a metallurgical coal j/v with Mitsui.

Sean, next time I am in the city I will stop in and buy you a pint. Spent two weeks there working at COP26 and love the place. Try and get up to Ibrox at least once a season with a pal who is a big Gers fan (I have a soft spot for them as took an interest when Gerrard was in charge).
Also bullish here - I bought a chunk in the 14s, traded out for 10% profit, then got back in just under 16p (separate to the core holding that I don't touch). Going to let it ride now until the AGM. As addicknt said earlier, this time feels different. Not sure I can wait for Godot for another year.
I might attend this meeting, will sign up
Yes DBW Erwin actually says "Great news!"
Great observations and info coming out today many thanks for posting everyone
After the interest today this should be very interesting next Thursday, sign up to go or watch...

Focus is on Ecuador mining
Cheers SharketMare I've no idea what Ray is saying as I blocked him when it became clear he never ever owned a Solg share and was only here to troll and gloat.
I think you've summed me up very well - I know I moan and grumble down the years, but the present SP is ridiculous and I am bullish beyond belief tonight.
As for having a pint with me, I am.often to be found propping up the bar in the Crystal Palace Glasgow, knocking back the ciders. For all the roller coaster moments, I do believe that Solgs best days lie ahead and that no one should ever sell this share at a loss.
A long way to go to get back to the 30's but a 10% rise is not to be sniffed at as we stand
DBW,
Thanks for that post, well the picture just below the post we see a group of Japanese gentlemen and a couple of Ecudorian gents, far corner Ecuadors flag, so will take this as good info

People like Sean, Ray. He rallies the troops, tells it how it is. Takes the **** out of BnC for reasons unknown, knows that this share price generally goes up and down between 19p and 40p. Gets sad when it falls lower. Writes with a Glaswwgian charm and would probably be a good bloke to drink a beer with.
Be more like Sean, Ray.
Dave yes noticed that is it suspended there pending news? Or just they not woken up there ATM?
I see our resident production engineer is already preparing the ground to save face by
"adjusting" the truth on other posters views.
Sean
Irwin seems to think it’s good news :)

Precisely the kind of company who think in terms of decades.
This SP simply does not belong down here in the teens. We've just had a reminder of that, and I hope it's a catalyst both for buyers returning and for other interested parties to wake up and start showing showing their hands very soon.
Let’s hope it’s not false news
They do seem to be into everything, list of interest in SA I just looked up
It should have read, list of some interest in SA I just looked up, couple of mines and smelting
My apologies,atb
It might not end up being them. But the point to remember is that at some point it may well be someone else. That's the point. We near the end game and we already have loads of names to throw into the hat. Franco, Boliden, Norges, Mitsui, Valuestone, Lundin... loads more. One of the greatest tier 1 copper/gold discoveries in decades. So it's not surprising really is it??
Seems the market got a bit excited today but we'll need addicknt to update us on the market voice.
They will be very smart cookies and know what value they will be getting

Meanwhile on TSX, no trades lol..
Yes was talking the drop from 24p to 17p was low volume, the recent big drop was a massive tree shake taking out stops with it, but cleared the decks for a big rise

Cast your minds back hen this fell to under 12p in March 2020 due to the Covid panic.
it looked like the end of the world and the end of Solg.
Panic burns itself out. We were back in the 20s in no time, and heading up to 40p soon after that.
No news is always bad news for Solg, but what is always good news is a jump in the share price which attracts all the buyers and TA experts and everyone else who suddenly remembers what a massive Tier 1 resource we have.
Of course funding is a worry, but something will turn up. This share has always turned on a dime in the past and today I think it just did again.
Onwards and upwards guys.
Tomorrow may see a buying frenzy.
