Yes, and as noted in recent Aussie press the savvy ones like Gina Rinehart have been buying up land / blocks around ENSA as they know that will be of value in coming years. If we look at CGP and recent murmurings from departed CEO, an exploration campaign around Solaris' Warintza looks most likely to me. And then there's CGP's 12.5% stake in Sunstone's Bramaderos (part of SOLG post merger) and I do wonder whether Sunstone will be interested in doing some collaborative JV exploration on some other blocks. eg... SOLG give Sunstone a few blocks in exchange for a larger slice of Bramaderos?? Or similar with Solaris Resources. There's a fair amount can be done without involving Super Majors until blocks are more derisked.
I think the phrase 'fast and smart' as used by Sangha or our interim CEO, rings true.
Between Codelco, Chinese, Sunstone, Solaris, Lundin and a handful of others, there's lots of partnerships and 'smart' opportunities to pursue post ENSA sale.
1 trade popped up ,not ramping though lol, more news coming ?
Just my thoughts, not sure why deciding to post but want to get some other thoughts as to why we are so low.
I always come back to the discovery graph below, in my head we are clearly in the Orphan phase, whilst not as clear cut as below (for example discovery to now has been drawn out and also some Institutional investment early on with NCM / BHP etc) but I'm going to call the bottom of the Orphan period we have just seen (and probably still in).

Personally I'm trying to work out my sell price... I think we were 40p relatively recently and (despite dilution) genuinely think the Cascabel component (or even just Alpala) should be 60p+.
In addition, there is significant additional value in Solgold recently (or soon to be) with
i) a pretty sizeable cash injection
ii) an ADDITIONAL ownership of 15% of ENSA
iii) the additional projects / value from acquiring Cornerstone
iv) obviously the additional discoveries and potential for more in the future.
I am strongly opposed to a blanket sale of Solgold IF fair and reasonable value to the above cannot be attributed with any bid.
Also, Cornerstone was worth a sizeable check relatively recently, surely not all of that value was for Solgold so once merger complete, when will that additional value be reflected in the share price.
Even if Cascabel alone is discounted to what was suggested to say 50p / share ... in my mind the additional aspects of Solgold could be worth another 40p (at a wild guess surely) so I think personally I am looking at 90p upwards as a conservative price I am *hoping* for .. Yes, it is hope but when I go back to the graph of a discovery, surely there is only 1 direction this will go over the next 12 months and hopefully many many multiples from here.
Welcome any thoughts

Red throwing shade at the validity of someone else's holdings.
That's it. That's the whole joke.

FTJNY...he insists he has 200,000 shares...
Lifes been peaceful since I filtered him...
I think it will be bumpy for a while longer than that (IMO) but I think we'll all do well to hold. Good luck!

Best post today...
Stackhigh,
No problemo my friend.
I expect a bumpy ride here in the coming weeks, but happy to wait this out to a more rewarding conclusion.
Anywhere and anything that involves with money is fested with interesant/cons or simply agenda parties.....
Builtin boards are there to share information and views, but any individual punter/investor should only follow his/her instinct based on own research, your money, your choice, to win or lose, perferbly to win of course.
Hi FT
I don't understand your bit about telling tales?
And I think I've mentioned before (though would hope nobody really cares) that I have a modest investment of around 200k shares here, which I'm happy to sit on.
Fort, agree. I think they want to sell cascabel and retain (one way or another) our current exposure to any upside in the rest of the portfolio. Hence the debate the other day about the spin out or regionals. It would be a crying shame to sell the whole company only based on Cascabel and the acquiror gets all the rest for virtually nothing.
Ecuador is seen as a new mining frontier. Solg with it's large package of licences across the country is seen by some as a good entry point into the Ecuador mining play... Not just as Cascabel.
Your the only hustler round here Stack! Plain as day what your agenda is! Funny that my previous post which you took a dislike to had 10 recommends before you went telling tales to teacher! One of those people in life who likes to dish it out but can’t stand the heat if the kitchen gets a little hot! Oh dear oh dear what a sad and bitter person you must be to spend sooooo much time on here posting about a company which you clearly aren’t invested in! Who the h£ll does that? I’ll leave everyone to draw their own conclusions but it doesn’t paint you in a favourable light and undermines any credibility in your posts which others need to take with a pinch of salt! Kind of makes everything you say irrelevant much like you!

Message loud and clear
Absolutely people should vote for the current BoD if that's what they think is best for the company. No arguments there.
Hi Josepi
Didn't actually mean you: I don't believe red has been successful in convincing anyone (most investors are capable of their own research and wouldn't trust a backwater message board). But I think this role helps explain some of his repetitive posts. He's determined, if ineffectual.
But they aren't unsubstantiated. From the recent DGR release:
"There is a strong risk that the removal of any of the current
Board members and or blocking of SolGold’s standard UK corporate financing
resolutions would limit SolGold’s financing flexibility. There is a risk that this may lead
to a creeping takeover rather than a bid by which all shareholders would benefit."
The message here is vote for all the directors and resolutions at the AGM so that the way can be paved for a takeover. I am not sure on this last point, but I did wonder whether the BoD wanted the right to issue more stock so that they can print X number of shares to get a takeover across the line?
Keep my name out of your mouth mathers I'm invested...
The message is loud and clear... as per DGR release and Sangha's comments. All seem pretty aligned to me.
It's all about 'exploration' and not about 'development'.
SOLG may well end going lock stock and barrel, but I think the goal here is already being messaged to shareholders... eg... we want to try and rinse and repeat the success of the Alpala exploration. So expect exploration to continue across folio while ENSA is sold off. How that happens is 'details' and we'll know in good time. But I get the feeling the main goal from the SR is NOT to sell the entire business. But to sell ENSA and retain the bulk of the exploration folio. I agree with this to some extent as the latter will likely go to the buyer for free and there's huge value (potentially) in those 50 to 60 odd licences which are rare in Ecuador and some in non tree-hugger areas. But I think we'll see a slimmed down exploration folio in future.
Note... 'generate shareholder value'... through the licence blocks that have significant potential. So not all 60 licences... but a select few. So again, I'm guessing here but the likelihood of relinquishing some blocks is inevitable so that will come or they will be shoe-d into the ENSA sale. So definitely some 'subsidiary' chess to be played post merger.
Scott Caldwell, Interim CEO of SolGold, commented:
"....accelerate exploration opportunities that hold the most significant potential to generate shareholder value." END.
