Dreamboat warrior neither sarcasm nor do I have a big picture. Just having a laugh whilst watching the paint to dry.
Talatum
Do I sense sarcasm ..... shame
It would be in bhp’s interests to keep the price down and it is one of many possible scenarios.... until we know what’s going on all we have is theories unless you’d like to reveal the big picture ?
"It could similarly be a blocker from BHP to keep it as low as they can for obvious reasons.
What will be revealing is how and when it goes."
Nothing to do with blocker or unblocker. It is BHP, since the lifting of sanctions, rushing to buy and heard of others following them. In the mad rush the share price has got trampled upon all the way from 43.90 to 35.95. It is like when bargain hunters rush in a sale and trample over the merchandise as they fight with each other to buy. lol
addicknt, your correct, my cleaner does my ironing.
Q, re Keith, irony's not your strong point, is it?
Iceberg, agreed probably nothing will come of it but the more people get onto these things the more likely something happens.
Thanks again

They don't do much granted, but what they do is relative to the mcap and the index imo, for a 20m mcap aim company they. Could give a monkeys, for any aim company they don't really care, but beyond that it gets noticed, a few enquires even just a phone call is often enough to get folks to lie low for a awhile.
Equally it will be gone by the next piece of news, or else citi will find somebody too buy it....
Schlemiel, that's the problem with trading.
If your going to trade, most traders lose money, and not many make the gains investors make.
You got to be a special sort of animal to be a trader.
You are clinical, and you know when to take a loss.
You know what they say Schlem......don't play with what you aint got!
I know that's insensitive, but when people play at that/this level, even small knocks can hurt. Both companies will make you money, it's just time that you have lost, not money. C'mon now cheer up FFS. It's lockdown yay!
Z
switching from GGP to SOLG has cost me £70k, 70 feckin' grand...head wrecker
depressing as feck
Care to post the fsa email address iceberg?
"I'd love an intraday rns to pop up and see that 3.95m block get taken away before the tool that put it there can remove it. It's clear as day that it's not intended for sale and is technically spoofing. If it gets removed on any break of 36.75p, then it needs reporting as can't have these games happening in this MIFID 2 era.”
It needs reporting anyway, I've reported already this morning, brokers and market makers have a duty of care to ensure an orderly market...this does nether and has no no purpose other than to spoof the market, it's happen before on solg...their is an fsa email address to report it to.
It's a 24hr distraction nothing more imo and no coincidence that it followed WILLAM OR CHRIS TEMPLE yesterday.
Not everyone can read the room. Evidently.
Sorry addicknt, I missed the bit in the statement, that said Keith will be working for BHP on the development of Alpala.
Could you point it out, if it's not there, and you are aware of this, maybe you should email NM, to ask that the statement is corrected.
Sorry but yet another conspiracy theory, with zero evidence.
He indicated clearly that if there were to be dilution it would certainly be at a decent price. Hey he did what he had to do I know that ...... I agree this will be taken to production, we may even still be a part of it , but we will not be in sole charge of the operation.
At last we are back to doing what we do best , exploring, drilling and proving up .
Every man should know his limitations
Sorry DBW, I could be wrong, but I don't remember NM saying no more dilution, I think he said minimal dilution.
Oh dear addicknt, you have been listening to to much LBC radio.
Only time I hear whataboutery these days.
My point is a little but more pointed.
If you were in discussions to sell, you wouldn't make these appointments, you would sell, and let the new owners, go their own way.
This is another indication that no talks are going on about any sale to anyone, including BHP.
For the correct usage of whataboutery, it applies to the first statement, that you asked me to comment on, as the message from Solgold, couldn't be clearer.
We are moving forward and heading to production.
I guess you might be ready to tune into the next thrilling episode of James O'Brien.
Addinct ..... exactly
The longer this plays out the more I get the feeling Solg/ BHP joint venture is on the cards.
I’m aware that NM has said no to such an idea
But he also said no more dilution last year and that we would not be increasing our bid for CGP .... this remains to be seen.
If one thing I’m fairly certain , if we do take Alpala and other tenements to production, we won’t be doing it solo . Way more likely we prove them up and let someone else ( with more clout) do what they’ve done many times before.
The first deal ( Cascabel) could be the blueprint for a scenario to be played out many times over the coming years .
Q, mere whataboutery. Keith will be working for BHP on the development of Alpala. :)
Morning addicknt, why not answer that, after all you are a good natured chap.
The statement says :
The Board of SolGold is completely cognisant that exploration and discovery will always remain the core key value driver for the Company.
I should hope so, after all we have a lot more tenements to explore, and more to discover.
I could end there, but as I have your undivided attention, I shall continue. I think you would agree that the statement has to be read as a whole, otherwise not only do we lose the integrity of the statement, but in doing so, we corrupt its message.
After all we mustn't forget this part of the statement.
Keith's underground block cave mining experiences will provide SolGold with extensive knowledge and guidance for the development of the Alpala Project.
I wonder what that means, would you care to comment addicknt.
All the best.
Morning, Quady. How do you react to the statement in the RNS about where our priorities lie?
Good morning Colonel, Schlemiel won't sell, from previous posts, he has hitched everything onto the Solgold wagon.
Good to see you believe we will be progressing in the next few weeks.
I think we need PFS to come in at at least 7 billion dollars, to lend support.
agree Colonel. Chart right now looks good. Forming a bull flag. I'm waiting for a break of it to buy more. Should be an aggressive move up when it does. Patience
I am waiting patiently.
Waiting for this to go to production, has a special term.
Ah yes, it's called investing.
That's that thing you do, when you look at a company, and then, if you like the leadership and direction the company is taking. If you believe the communications, coming out of the company.
It also helps if the communications are consistent, and you are the type of person that can ignore conspiracy theories and broker notes ( you gotta be desperate to read those ).
However if you invest in a company for a quick profit, because you believe it's in such dire straits, that it will be bought and asset stripped. Then I can see why you might be impatient with this investment.
