Ndn, are you Scinv back under a new username?!
Ndn71, I was going to write a lengthy reply, but to be honest you've drained me of all my energy and enthusiasm this week.
Hi Ndn,
‘ You and by your proxy Trek tell me this period is “enjoyable” to trade - implying you enjoy the ramping as you profit by it.’
My tendency is after DYOR I buy a stock. Then I trade my average. I have 30 shares I know pretty well.
In the case of SNG I have ALWAYS kept my core holding. But here’s a thing. I will be selling the 10k I bought yesterday into the close today on the FOMO run up that I predicted. You see even if it didn’t happen and I ended up holding them it wouldn’t have mattered. That’s how I trade. Only buy stuff I don’t mind holding. Secrets out! Lol!
Call this one traders hindsight predicted the Friday FOMO. Well so did everyone. Few backed it though!
I am active as I set myself a target to pay off the kids mortgages and I am only halfway there! Then there are other things to do.
You gotta enjoy it when you get some right as I have got sooo many wrong. Just like the rest of us I guess. That’s why I changed my behaviour from buy and hold to buy hold + slice + trade a few.
All stocks are different I haven’t traded TXP. Just hold but Imagine if I hadn’t traded out of ARB selling the last at 160p from 4.3p and just held. Now look at it!
All said though if this one comes good, which I think it will, then buy and hold wins hands down! Brilliant for those that stuck. They absolutely deserve all the rewards for the huge risks!
But I have IMM and MTFB scars so have taken 2.5 bags out so far. I couldn’t go through that again! Even if slicing is an expensive mistake!
I for one enjoy your posts. Lighten up a little though hey, or go read some Al Jezerra!
Ps I don’t know wyn from Adam but he sounds smart! Lol!
Good luck with your investments.

Tick-tock!
Ndn71, I looked in this morning and read this....
"Quality not quantity is my motto as you can see by my consistent high standard of posts"
What happened?
Can't wait till I sell out and never have to read about this fool again...
NDN, you are too concerned imo with what an unknown and unknowable bunch of posters here may or may not do.
You seem concerned to the point of obsessed on their investing welfare. Yet these people may not (and probably don't even) exist.
For every buyer there is a seller and vive versa. We can't know what any of their motivations for their decisions are and its pointless (imo) to make groundless assumptions that you do.
Its also pretty patronising to think these adults can't assume risk and make judgments on reading these types of BB's.
For instance I think anybody who puts much store if any, on a CEO interview needs their head examined, but its not up to me to tell everybody not to talk about what the CEO enthusiastically might have said.
Each to his own. DYOR etc etc
Be kinder than necessary for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle?
A gift for ndn
"when there's no enemy within, the enemies outside can't hurt you"
OAK!!! You’ve been here for as long as I remember filter the mong!!!!!
You take everything too seriously Ndn and you are a newcomer here so just chill. Take a walk, you spend far too much time on here looking for attention. Go and give nature some, but listen, something I fear you struggle with.
NDN, its not us that creates the volatility, All us traders do is try to profit off others emotions (sentiment).
Sometimes we win, sometimes we don't. They say its often better to travel than arrive but not for us......
Its all about the destination, but it has to be at the right time. No point in getting to the station just after the train has left if you know what I mean.....
Seem very focused on the US. I wonder if they see lower vaccination rates and high pricing as reasons.
ND, this is what traders enjoy, trying to divine the workings of the puzzle!
This is absolutely the point.
Most traders are not in for the long term, so its all about timing. And if you buy in just before a big move, well, as Trek so accurately says "“ You gotta enjoy these moments else what’s the point!”
Hi Wyn/all,
Of course no one knows if its Monday or not but like you I think the recent drop followed by todays tick up gives mysterious credence to my opinion based on the daily countdown to a finite event.
Those wishing to derisk, to be on the safe side likely think they got until close tomorrow.
Those traders wanting to jump onto the coat tails for a bargain risk reward bet will likely view tomorrow as the time to have a position because….
Given the complexity of the rns it’s likely to be A Monday.
If of course it’s not this Monday I would expect less derisking and more anticipation which will result in a higher net SP next Friday!
You gotta enjoy these moments else what’s the point!
Good luck with your investments

The whole ‘when will the RNS be’ debate has been a bit of a red herring in my opinion, with no other objective other than to sow division.
Anyone guessing at a date isn’t ramping- it would take someone profoundly stupid or desperate to pile in thinking they were hitting the jackpot the next day. Perhaps rainbow chaser in chief Jedward is the one exception to this rule. But come on, it’s just a bit of fun. No one is influencing anyone, nor do I think they are intending to either.

Great post!
Ndn71, if someone is blatantly spreading misinformation then I’m with you. Also, people who claim to have ‘sources’ doesn’t sit well with me. But guessing at some dates and getting excited… not so much.
Besides, we (including you) are very positive on SNG and think this has every chance of succeeding. So we’re helping those desperate individuals make a good financial decision! As long as they don’t bet the kitchen sink…
Of course they know.
However, until all of the t’s have been crossed and all of the i’s dotted, they can only use suggestive text.
Once RNS comes out, it will be matter of fact!
I’ve seen posters today wondering about Monday being ‘the day’ for results. As I’ve grown older and older lol, I’ve become more relaxed about perceived timelines. It just raises blood pressure and creates doubt in your investment.
There is still risk here of course but surely very low now when balanced on the scales against upside and reward?
If all of the recent bullish ‘indications’ from Synairgen turn out to be unfounded then how would these scientists ever be able to save face in the future? These guys have integrity imv.
My point is that nowadays I choose to be more patient and once I believe in a company, let them deliver when they can. They know best.
This cannot be said for useless or indeed marginally corrupt companies - but I think we can all agree that Synairgen is certainly not one of those !
The news will come soon but please don’t fret whether it’s this week or in two or three weeks.

HelloSan, how can they not know the results of their own trial when the data (their own data that they can look at) has been unblinded for 47 days now?
They wouldn’t look at their own unblinded data 47 days after they were allowed to? Would be moronic.
Of course they’ve seen the data.
If you dig a little deeper into the adverts, you get a glimpse of what is going on behind the scenes. I've posted this in its own thread:
The adverts for these positions make an interesting read and might be useful for PI's to have a closer look.
The advert for US Market Access Lead states that they will be looking at "government sales" amongst others. They go on to state that Ashfield Engage will also be involved in the role: "negotiate agreements, administer contracts, and maintain US government price reporting".
Head of Commercial Finance Role states that the role will be in "supporting the Commercial function through launch of our investigative candidate SNG001 into the US market, pending regulatory authorisations and approvals".
I'll let you make your own deductions.

Ndn71, we must be reading different boards. I see lots of people guessing on dates, but it’s always their own opinion.
If people are stupid enough to come on this board and believe anything anyone says with regards to dates, and invests or divests because of it, more fool them.
DerbyCounter - Synairgen have said that study will not delay P3 results.
You make a fair point @thinshins, It is looking positive from SNG and I am looking forward to the data release whenever it is.
No pressure on SNG to release data early, I just want them to get it right. So far they've been excellent in doing just that.
To me it seems like the company had many things lined up and they were awaiting data to be unblinded. Seeing positive results RM has given the green light on the below to go public/live, if the data was a dud none of the below would have been given the green light to go live as RM has shown nothing but professionalism and integrity so far.
- Ashfield Engage partnership
- New website
- 5 New Senior US based positions opened
- 3 New videos
AIMO, best of luck all not much longer.
We have a lot of positive news so far. The company a 25 person SG019 trial to validate the additional questions that are included in SG018 (a standard way to support approval and labelling). They are scaling up, as given by their job advertisements. The CEO and team who are conventionally conservative in their PR have been visibly bullish. They have visibility of data as well.
The data for this trial is for ~620 patients, significantly more than phase 2. It will require extra time to digest and make sense of. It is very important that data is fully analysed and the wording for any RNS and media is fully prepared, checked and double checked. For these reasons it's not critical that they release the results in the same timeframe as Manic Monday. However, they are approaching a point, where I feel that they are about to release the results.
I'm predicting it as I've said before, at anytime now (IMO). However, if it's plus or minus a few days or a couple of weeks I'd rather wait for very good news than mistakes.
Looking forward to what will be a transformational period for SNG.
