I guess Org30 and Pmgh used to hate each other.....but after continued aquaintanceship their friendship flourished into loathing,
Just joking men, have a nice night, let's hope for the best tomorrow :)
G.L.A.
I agree with John, the fact SNG haven’t attempted a raise when they had plenty of opportunity when SP was at £2 and above speaks volumes. FINNCAP no doubt would have urged them to do that (if it had been the plan) after manic Monday knowing full well that the SP was going to rocket. Instead we had a recent interview where RM stated SNG had always been in dialogue with big Pharma and to expect good news ‘fairly soon’. Shouldn’t be too long to wait imo.

Thanks Dumbpunter!
Spot on John! They would have taken advantage of the huge rise to raise money if they thought(knew) for a second they wouldn't get it from elsewhere.
Seb, you clearly don't have the patience for this tyoe of thing. You were peddling the same unsubstantiated nonsense before 20th July.
The key thing to me is there has been no attempt to raise money. This is the gigantic Elephant in the room, buy the dips guys and girls.
Org, if you are so sure It’s doomed why haven’t you sold up, or at least given up with this board? It’s highly unlikely you will exit ahead of half year results on wed. So give it a rest.
It’s been said before on here by many, me included, but worth saying again. Covid is not only A virus which can be fatal, it is causing serious damage to some of those who survive it.
Having heard recently about the relative if a contact who was hospitalised and ventilated and who now has kidney & liver damage and cannot walk, in my humble opinion it reinforces the need for effective treatments. Whatever does or doesn’t happen with any vaccines, we need treatments
Even if some of what you say is true Seb, that does not negate the fact that approval of sng001 for covid would save a lot of lives and leave the sp sitting a hell of a lot higher than it is now. Being able to get this drug out quickly to the most vulnerable could get Britain, the US, europe etc back to close to normal well before a vaccine arrives.
At that point synairgen would be known globally and doors would be well and truly opened for all the other uses - think broad spectrum of viruses and COPD.
Org, I spoke to a friend who’s a nurse last night, they now have 4 covid wards in her hospital which at one point was covid clear. This in my mind is the calm before the storm. I’ve also read that if you contract both the seasonal flu and covid it will be 6 times more deadly.
Don’t dumb this down, follow social distancing and wear a mask, if not for ourselves but possibly the ones we love. I Personally hate to hear people dumbing down covid saying this only affects a very small percentage of the population, if it kills someone you love numbers mean nothing.
GLA and stay safe
@RedHotCillly.. great banter :)
So the Guardian is choosing to write about trials involving ferrets while, in Southampton, we essentially have a treatment that most of the scientific community agrees is the best way to combat Covid (i.e. by increasing levels of interferon - SNG are even administering it locally with nebulisers).
What am I missing here? Why is there no update from SNG or their IR people? Starts to feel slighyly dodgy. Does anyone here have any idea when we can expect to hear from them?At least an update re the timelines???
Interferreton.
I wonder if they’ve reached this trial phase yet?

Three groups of 6 ferrets given the Nasal solution, one group of 6 ferrets given the placebo. I bet all 24 ferrets kept wondering if they were getting the treatment or the placebo.
Is that what the greatest clay court player of all time uses?
They will be starting phase 1 in 4 months. By the time they complete phase 2 the pandemic will be over. Not even in the same race as SNG.
Well they’re miles behind us in the race. We’ve progressed way beyond ferrets lol.
are they doing well
Trek and what does that have to do with SNG?
NASAL sorry
In the Guardian just now
