The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Well said Oxford!
Oh well, thanks Eva. I’m holding regardless :)
Evening all - is there anything important mentioned on the board today? Haven’t had a chance to look!
Good work Oxford! That’s an interesting read...
That’s a chunky trade! It was possible to sell in size earlier today - not that I’m selling! Hope we get some juicy TR1’s in the near future.
Settling down to watch Prof Sir Holgate again now
Wedme - welcome back and thanks for your work in posting so much research. Hat’s off to you as well for the job you do!
Oxford - ref the UK, I would hope there is more to come from the UK, as I’m sure we all would.
There has been so much info and research to take in since the eraly days of the pandemic and mountains of it since Manic Monday. When RM said that they had been talking to governments I still hope that out UK govt have been much more active with Synairgen behind the scenes than we see/hear in public.
Got to say I have never found science so interesting as tonight’s talk
Very interesting listening to that tonight. Complex stuff explained so well. Seems to be a pretty clear message that regardless of any vaccine (and one won’t do the trick fromwhat I could gather) we need treatments. And Interferon is crucial - the best results of any clinical trial for Covid anywhere in the world as Professor Sir Holgate said
Very soothing after a busy day!
Evening all. Great to see such a strong day today. It’s not easy seeing profits dwindle/losses grow depending where we all got in here.
Simple message tonight - thanks to all who have done and continue to post great research and spend time doing so. Fingers crossed that SNG go on to deliver what most of us here have been discussing - saving lives and helping the world get back to normal!
Just like his Sky interview. No boasts etc. Just classy and obviously a humble gent
Excellent posts again this week, Wedme, pmjh and others.
The role of interferons in treating Covid and other viral infections should be becoming clear to all but the most blinkered, with many articles out there now highlighting that Covid specifically switches off non other than the natural interferon response.
Looking forward to hearing the now Sir Stephen Holgate speak next Thursday. The event timing already seemed interesting for those of us trying to join the dots. And now he’s Knighted.....
Bon weekend all. Off to see if I can find the old film classic: Herbie Goes Bananas
Completely forgetting any investment here, today’s news on cases, hospitalisations, further restrictions in Scotland, talk of further restrictions elsewhere and Bbc talking about long Covid, we need everything we can get to tackle this virus. Hopefully SNG001 will indeed have good news as RM mentioned with a little bit of patience needed
Gkb, I was kind of agreeing but saying that there may or may not be reasons for it. Just that ultimately he’s showing some class. Don’t take umbrage by it
Gkb - I’ve not seen the interview and maybe they could have referenced Synairgen. From
What I’ve read on here tonight though, I do believe that Prof Holgate not coming across as a salesman is more classy. After all, he is not a salesman.
There may or may not be things in the background that prevent more of a “look at us”. But showing some restraint and class at times cannot be underestimated. Only my view
It was only the 30th September that you proclaimed you were off and would check back in November. Still seems to be October to me.....
That’s a brilliant summary and reminder Wedme. Thanks for posting - probably worth highlighting this again during the day the benefit of everyone.
I wonder if the team at Venrock might have a bit of a clue as to what SNG001 can do ;)
I need to get some basic essentials anyway. Toilet roll being one, before that becomes gold dust again! Mask on, sanitiser in pocket!
Oxford, good morning.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Numis get increased coverage for Synairgen in the media. Not sure if they still are, but they were the number 1 ranked media sector broker some years back. Apart from promoting Synairgen shares to their insti investors, a good broker will likely advise and help with a PR campaign.
Going to have to get off the backside and brave the rain to buy a copy of the ST!
Numis are indeed a top broker. Thought this might be coming after NUMS started as a MM in Synairgen recently and Novacyt appointed Numis.
This is a great move and should be a positive as Numis have reach excellent sales and trading teams with access to all of the top fund managers.
