George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Awesome share thanks Gunto! Despite the recent sprinter results blip I still think SNG is coming home. Call me delusional or stupid but while everyone has been selling I have thrown the kitchen sink in. Uncle Sam wants this and Poly know it. We just need to sit on our hands and buy the dips until the next wave arrives and P3 gets underway.
Evening syn’ers,
Absolute bloodbath on here today and a very difficult one to predict given all the positive signs from the company. But we live and learn!
Just had a word with Mrs King to share the bad news which I’ve been putting off for most of the day and she took it well considering. We will just have to wait a few more years before we get our campervan sadly but no big drama.
On a serious note today’s drop was a real kick in the teeth and I know a few on here we’re all in. So if your suffering or afraid to tell your partner about the loss don’t be. A problem shared is a problem halved and there will be brighter days coming.
Sometimes with such big losses it can seem like there is no way out. But there always is. You just need to get through the initial shock and come back stronger.
Mental health is no joke so if you’re suffering tonight please reach out and talk to someone.
In 2009 the US ordered 50million doses of Tamiflu and the UK 30 and that was for a drug that didn’t really work. And this was in response to Swine flu which didn’t demonstrate the death and negative economic impact that COVID-19 has. These are stats for just a hand full of countries but give and indication of the volume. Not wanting to ramp too much but the possible upside here is huge!

It is indeed a wordy read Doc. The key line is “ MGF360-9L inhibits IFN-ß signaling through the targeted degradation of STAT1 and STAT2”. So stops the body triggering its interferon alarm system and an immune response. Spay a dose of SNG down there and all good!? I’ll caveat that with I’m not a doc so others interpretations would be welcomed.
Some more evidence to add to the broad spectrum list.

Andy, Don’t believe everything you read! This was a paid for article written by one of Synairgens competitors, issued in a week where an institutional investor was trying to load up on shares. I’d recommend going back and finding the 300 posts that discussed it on the date it was issued.
Haha it has indeed fruits! Hopefully not too long to go now though. I’ll just be glad when I no longer have to read this board and random journals on interferon beta every evening. Especially after a 10 hour shift. I’ve not been drinking I promise! :)
Completely missed this in yesterdays noise!

Before this gets jumped on and promoted by the green binners. Better life’s trials are at least 2 years behind sng and interferon alpha is no competition of beta which sng have fully patented. By the time they complete trials we will own the market with a better product.
The comments on safety and the variants they have covered in the trial are very interesting though and should be seen as positive here.
Has anyone looked into this yet? There’s quite a good write up of all the important mutations from Imperial here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.imperial.ac.uk/news/232217/qa-imperial-experts-discuss-variant-b11529/amp/
Notably: “There are also changes in the Omicron variant beyond the spike protein, in other genes of the virus such as the nucleoprotein, that have recently been linked with increased fitness of SARS CoV-2 in human cells. This is because they perhaps make the virus better at assembling and packing its genome inside its particles, and perhaps allow the virus to counteract our innate immune response (known as interferon) more effectively.”
So if the N Protein changes are positive they could further reduce the bodies natural interferon response and lead to more severe despise. There is a bit more detailed write up on n proteins here if anyone wants to dig into the science: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8402637/ My take on this is Omicron is bad news for the world but great news for Synairgen shareholders!!
*if the mutation is a positive one **I'm not a scientist so dyor

@sparky they are recruiting respiratory sales reps across the US and creating a new COPD section. They are on Activ2 so will have visibility of our results. Here are various sources shared:
