Strean , medical science and testing can take decades never mind a year or two , read listen and learn from many well researched and knowledgeable people on this superb platform, don’t expect that it will all come to fruition within a short timeframe, patience is required.
Strean not been around around long. There are and will be others like him. Ignorance and lack of understanding may prove very costly to these people who will jump from share to share in an effort to make a fast buck. The in and out brigade. Then we have the HNWI's , With more money to invest than they will ever have in lives. They are not in and out brigade but looking for a decent return on their investment of 3, 4 , 5 or ten times and potentially more on their initial outlay. If it takes 6 months longer than anticipated do they really care. They are of a different mindset. It all comes to he who waits.
The likes of Strean neither understand Sareum, its compounds or the science behind it. We are where we are in our lives by the product of our own thinking. We invest, or should invest on the understanding of what we are invested in. If we do not understand then leave well alone.
I believe in its compounds as do the HNWI's with the added benefit of my buy in price is very much less than theirs,
Capsule as an oral route is outstanding and vastly underestimated in its ability to maximise its ADME. If you look at the original patent is included in the oral form as a method . That of course is paying attention to detail.
It is very good to keep your options open. I have kept my options open here for nigh 10 years. I am in no hurry to sell. Likewise I would hazard an educated guess that the HNWI's in no hurry to sell either, albeit significantly wealthier than me I would guess.
Regards
Thanks for the heads up Bluedreamer … consigned to Room 101 (aka filtered) where he’ll be nice and cosy with several others - including his alter ego Trimme

This may come good but from what I read in the RNS it wont be for at least a year , so says Strean.
Wrong share if you want quick results. Suggest you try the 3.30 at Catterick.
Batonrouge, he already is on ADVFN as C31161 alias TRIMME. You may remember him from a few months ago, bought at 9 went down to 6 moaned and moaned, promised to sell out if it got back to 9, and never did, just started moaning again.

If you want instant gratification there's plenty of web sites that can meet your needs...
Instead of whinging here, sell up, and go enjoy yourself somewhere else...
Here Here Lazarus. Well said!
Hmmm! Showing your true colours there Strean. Not really objective or constructive - just negative and nasty with it.
You’re a spent force mate
Strean, stop torturing yourself. Sell. Then go away. Look for attention on ADVFN.
Well that’s positive Strean - of course, those of us who remain invested here will also catch any early good news and not be caught out. Good luck with your timing though
It is interesting to see that the disrupters and antagonists from yesterday have all disappeared for now. I am sure they will be back when they feel they have lost control of sentiment here. It won’t matter one jot to me. Their appearance was the final positive.
Sit on those hands unless you are a trader in which case good luck - patience will be rewarded
We should also remember that this part in the RNS is not set in stone and could be quicker than we expect. If of course the reason for the delay is due to some folk in these contracting companies suffering from Covid, inevitably if they should regain health and are able to continue working. The other alternative would be if the BOD thought it was dragging to find other companies to assist in the work.
'The time needed to produce drug product in capsule form, combined with the effects of Covid-19 being experienced by several of our contracting companies, has meant that CTA filing is now expected in mid-2022. The first clinical trials are anticipated to begin shortly thereafter, subject to gaining the requisite approval, drug product supply and additional funding. These studies would investigate the safety of SDC-1801 in healthy volunteers during which time the Company will assess the initial indications for further study'.
The capsule is the main takeaway from the RNS yesterday plus the fact that news could still drop at anytime.
Perversely, and as Spurs pointed out, there won’t be anything sensitive discussed next week. Thinking about that, the very fact that the caveat has already been mentioned in the RNS means that there is plenty going on in the background that cannot be discussed - I view that as a further positive.
Great post RMM ... it was the capsule angle that piqued my interest too ... our brilliant scientists want this to work properly and that inspires confidence ... MMs don't do science and to be fair they don't have the time ... confidence will be improving too with the pharmaceuticals who are watching with keen interest ... and the longer they wait the more expensive we get
Unsurprisingly the MM’s reacted to the Trading Results in atypical fashion – no new money and a delay was all they saw. As Thoth has pointed out on many occasions the market takes a long time to realise what is behind such statements when it isn’t spelt out in words of two syllables. The capsule is a big deal. There are significant advantages to capsules that liquids and tablets don’t have. In particular they have a much better ability to control dosage over time as individual elements can be coated for time release at different times. When taking any medicine controlling the dosage is very important especially when you are managing an immune response. It’s not like a headache where once the aspirin, paracetamol etc takes effect that’s it job done. Lupus, psoriasis etc are lifetime diseases and for many cancers its long term management of the condition. However, moving to a capsule is a major change in the manufacturing process and also involves different toxicology testing because of the way the active ingredient is released. Before any drug goes into human trials it really does need to be as safe as possible. For those that have been here a while, we all know that the problem with 1801/2 was finding a maximum dose. There are ways around this but simply moving from a liquid to a tablet to a capsule doesn’t mean you can side step the testing regimes. I had already anticipated a delay but not because of the move to a capsule. Quite simply there isn’t enough lab space in the world at the moment and chemicals etc are just as logistically stretched as is the petrol supply chain, the log jam in container shipments etc etc. For me the capsule is a great move as it means we can control the release of the active ingredient and thereby reduce the risk of a trials failure. The MM’s won’t understand this so we hang onto our shares until the over endowed lady sings (in this PC world I’m not allowed to say fat and probably won’t be allowed to be gender specific for much longer but that’ll be the least of our problems when we go into trials and the SP takes on a new dimension). In the meantime, all eyes on 737. GLA
