that I now have to include this BoD as being the same as the other AIM money for nothing shysters Best in Class talking rubbish Interested parties telling lies Significant increased SP value in the next 12onths absolutely shocking big lie. Was optimistic last week when I chucked in £700 more what a plonker to believe in these people. Really feel let down and cheated by Mitchell, Reader, Parker just milking the gravy train and getting that pension sorted. Shameful on them, fools big hat for me. IDIOT
RE: ouch - double helping of increased shorts29 May 2020 14:51
AED there are around 4% shorts so therefore 96% holders. Do you think the holders don't see a profit in it and that's why they are holding? As with long holders short holders don't always get it right. Might be you just like to talk this share down all the time, hopefully you are selling up and moving on, good luck.
Well it can go anytime from now on please just put my last £700 into it so onwards and upwards towards Tim's significant increase, or Toths 28p plus. Will continue to dream of us being the Covid solution and an SP in the £s.
Well AED it's not just Covid that dropped this price there was the big drop in oil and gas price which I think dropped it nearly 20p then there was Covid biting deep which took it down again to its lows now. Yes it had a bad leader it now has a new leader who came in and stopped the asset sales as the prices they could hope to get would be ridiculous, he stopped the Divi as per govt. guidelines, so to me they are trying. Once the country gets going, oil will go up, energy consumption will go up and CNA could start to turn, yet you spout your opinion as gospel they will not recover, simple truth is you don't know that it's your opinion only, mine is give them a chance and a year and let's see where they are then. Going out of the 100 might take the spotlight off them and let them get on with it. Yes the 100 trackers will sell but the 250 trackers will buy. AIMO of course.
RE: Website updated Grant applications!21 May 2020 16:47
Wow Fearg that's the best description of any board EVER and to be honest a fantastic tribute to the home supporters of SAR. Im one of the backroom staff, probably only a programme seller to be honest, know sod all about the science and in awe of some of the posters on here, the premiership class. Get a bit down every now and then with the dreams that don't come true, but always rooting for them to get it right and get that title eventually.
RE: More people still cooking at home18 May 2020 16:15
It's certainly making the effort Gasman9. Businesses going back to work can only help it, those businesses will be putting in all sorts of extra hours working shifts to catch up with output and also to allow for social distancing. Could be time for it to go on a little run
Really really wish I could share that optimism this morning. I've woken with the feeling we have missed the boat and Tim's statement of significant SP increase isn't happening. As people have said if our molecules are so good then we're are the suitors to take us out. Hopefully totally wrong and the deal is being finished but could really do with this significant rise any time now please.
Perhaps now they are out of lockdown over there they will want to kick-start their economy and may just realise there is a fair bit of tax revenue that could come out of Ascents field and release the permits and let them get going. You never know every country's economy needs help now.
All companies were asked by the Government to show prudence during this Pandemic and shelve dividends, the vast majority have done. If you want government help with furlough schemes etc they ain't going to be happy if you have just given 200 million away. Centrica really need the gov and the ombudsman on their side o CE we come out of this mess.
So if what most people seem to think is happening and SAR are on the verge of a deal or deals what do people think is best, a straight buy out as recommended by the BoD, or the SP reacting to deals and increasing. I keep reading how people could not sell on the 10/10 mice spike so to me would seem best if it were sort of taken out of our hands and a BoD recommended bid would be best. Hopefully around Toths 28p figure or higher if poss.
Well 4ndy I have been thinking all day of selling and buying back in if it dropped back tomorrow just to try and get this year's divvy back, but with it keep going up gave kept my finger off the button. Just watch this thing open up at 36 or less tomorrow then who's the fool. Was only going to do it the once as I am not a trader would stick with CNA long term but just missing the Divi for this year so reckon it owes me one trdecat leat . Will wait till 46 next then think about it again. Hopefully this is the beginning of getting back on par with the rest of the FTSE. GLA
Hi Disco thanks for that. Yes we do have a static up in Belford very near Bamburgh, absolutely love it up there just wish it was open, obviously understand why it ain't. Nice comment hoping that O'Shea is not a Conn, I hope your right. I wish people would realise that Corona has affected every share not just CNA and CNA was also battered by the Saudi/Russia fall out . Think CNA are everybody's whipping boys at the minute, time for some other firm to have a go. GLA
Being honest he was the reason I won't go to one of the ADVN threads anymore, and I don't really want to do the same here as most posters on here are decent people. No offence meant and I hope you haven't taken any. Good luck with your investment decision.
Getting me homesick now. Beadnell is my second favourite beach, probably half closed off now with the Terns getting ready to breed, favourite beach is Goswick, the benchmark of long sandy stretches and virtually empty, been the Towers twice for meals, excellent and very dog friendly which is most important to us, although the Crater arms next door us better for an afternoon pint. Belford is only ten mins away we may have passed like ships in the night at sometime. First thing we are doing when we are released from lockdown, getting drunk on our decking at the van for a full week. Have a good day whatever you are upto.
Good on you Aspers sounds like a great life. I've got a static caravan in Belford Northumberland beautiful but can't use it as Its shut, and a clapped out Renault Laguna estate full of dog hairs but it gets me where I want to go. Good luck with your investments especially CNA.
