Still waiting for results of drilling that commenced 20th Jan I expect our SP will rise in anticipation of results in couple of weeks time. Seems good time to top up imo.
It’s in the RNS!
Next drill after wet season
Are we not hitting the rainy season, making another drill in the short term less likely?
Alot of tweeting by rock about the copper plays at the moment, might see another drill there in short term firming up both fronts at the same time. More then one string to this bow
The point regarding warrants is a valid one. Although there have been many guesstimates , as to how many warrants are still out there, it would be nice to know exactly how many. I believe that ROCK still has great potential, but only time will tell.
My concern here is that any good news gets sold into by warrant holders. Happened every time during the release of the first set of drill results and happened again on last drill results. There can't be too many warrants left but still enough to stop any decent rise. Might get a decent rise in the share price later in the year as long as we keep releasing positive updates
Good morning TomE. Once all immediate excitement and profit taking has been done at GGP, things will soon change here. Some investors have probably sold all or part of their holding here, to fund buying of GGP. All this, to make a quick profit and soon return here, to do exactly the same. We can only sit, wait and be patient.
Cheers guys, needed a confidence booster, not sold any so as you say its only a paper loss, hey ho.
ATB and thanks again.
Tom :-)))))
But seriously, if the drilling didn't look good then they'd have stopped at 80m, which was their intention. The fact that they've drilled to c190m for each hole shows promise, as any negative data would impact on positive data.
Sit tight TomE. This isn't an overnighter, as you know, just requires some further patience. They have a solid exec, good results to date, with more on the way. I'd say this is a mid term hold at the very least.
Let's face it, I reckon that some of the punters are that short term that they probably have trouble holding their bladder.
Sorry to hear you are down on your investment. However hopefully you wont have long to wait with drill results happening so soon. Plus wouldn't be surprised if some people that have made profits from another Australian minor put some into here after Thursday.
Tom nothings changed mate people are just away chasing other rainbows as they cant seem to invest for more then 5 minutes. The sniff of a good result on the first drills that come back and the herd will arrive and the dynamic here will change massively. If your happy with the fundermentals here then nothings changed, if anything they have only got better. Its peaks and troughs and and never nice looking at a loss, however thats the game and its not a loss unless you sell.
Trumpy Hi,
Thanks for your post and Its nice to see there are a few of us here today. The reason I asked is the I am down a bundle ATM and the SP is still falling. I could have used the cash elsewhere but stuck in now at a huge loss. Down over £20k so far and its not a good feeling.
Hope it changes next week with some good news as sitting on the fence ATM waiting.
ATB
Tom :-)
Personally I don't think there is a lack of interest for any reason other than people have just over a week before they are expecting drill results and for many there attention is on another australian minor first for next couple days. I expect in about a week people will come piling in here. They could be caught out if other rnses drop here while not in however!
The lack of interest with only 4 posts is staggering to say the least, is anyone out there or are they on the train out of town.
Think the CEO should at least give us some confidence as the RNS did not.
It would appear from the current fall that the latest RNS has done nothing for the SP at all and the reason IMO is that another long wait is required and many have sold out. This has been seen by the Volumes yesterday and today as sellers keep it up out of frustration and spooked with the content of the RNS. Just look at the trades so far today not one sensible buy, that I can see. Can anyone suggest otherwise or give us a bit of confidence to hold even though many are on at least a 60% fall.
Agreed, SimonP, the percentages in yesterday's rns compare very favourably to those from the Oct 19 rns - and we know how good the results were which followed that one.
Apologies, that should of read “yesterday’s RNS”
Today’s RNS has revealed, in some cases, up to a 100% increase in encountered sulphides since the drilling campaign of Oct 2019. In that program they encountered broad sulphide intervals of up to 25%. In the most recent drilling program (Jan 2020), they intersected intervals of up to 50%.
SP,
Quite right re. lab results, may take a few weeks but awaited with interest. As to wet season, I believe that can last up till late March/early April. But as the RNS stated they've made the most of weather windows to make progress with this additional drill, no doubt they'll seize the next opportunity that presents itself too.
A few people seem to be confused on this board, either that or they have not read the RNS. To confirm, the results of the most recent drilling campaign (In which all all drill holes returned broad intervals of sulphides) have NOT been released. The drill samples are on their way to the lab, with results confirmed to be returned at any point in the next few weeks.
Also, to address another point, the wet season in N. Queensland historically ends towards the end of Feb/early March
The results from the drilling they have just undertaken maybe...
The thing is now the wet season has arrived so no more drilling, not sure what will propel the Sp forward. Yes the results are good but judging by what is expected it's back to waiting again and the Sp will languish, perhaps should have sold when it was at 2.30 back in December, xxxx!
I'm not disappointed really. Good news giving more support to the price and hopefully more money from the warrants which is beneficial. Hopefully plans being made behind the scenes to catapult us into a further round of drilling.
