The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
"Trust no-one or nothing except what comes from company RNSs."
AIM - don't trust any RNA also!
Trading is allowed
That was a mistimed OP.
"Damp squid springs to mind."
Squid? Can't take you seriously now I'm afraid.
You mean apart from the company changing, future securing multi year contract just a couple of weeks ago.
Anything apart from that you mean?
Well it was certainly published.
"The monies received under these contracts totalled £10.3m (including £5.4m to cover reimbursement of stock and £0.2m in interest). This does not include a final £1.5m cash payment from the DHSC, currently held under charge until the outcome of the judicial review, which is now expected to be released, bringing the total amount paid to Abingdon by the DHSC to £11.8m (all amounts quoted exclude VAT)."
"So the actual award is in fact 11.8 mill?"
They have historically been paid all the money with the exception of £1.5m which will now be paid. I assume VAT on this was reclaimed (unsure) so £1.2 or £1.5 in the bank shortly.
What dip, dropped 92% since the start of the year. That dip?
Predicted Q3 2022 revenue of circa £2.0m, with similar levels expected in Q4 2022, resulting in an anticipated EBITDA loss for the full year of circa £13.5m
"Doesn’t really matter how it looks to you, I’m confirming its my buy!"
Not the best timing, but this is vast so you have to roll with the placings
Doesn't really matter, will open up near the last ordinary trade tomorrow
"Anytime soon I would expect the market to wake up to the potential here"
Potential doesn't get priced in much nowadays, revenue, profit and contracts do.
Well it was a crap trading update.
Just getting on with business, what are you expecting to hear?
"Interesting. If this causes another spike and they dont announce the agreement then they'll prob have to do a 2nd RNS to prevent a speeding ticket"
They have already addressed the speculation in an RNA, they don't need to do another for the same speculation regardless of a spike in share price.
Those pesky shorters!
"I hold half a million shares and like many on here am down heavily as these are at an average of 22p so the question is, how much would I have to put in extra to buy the shares on offer?"
Jesus, if your punting 100 grand, at least go get some proper advice rather than a BB.
"You'd expect a big reaction from the BoD, to bring forward announcements on strategy, m&a, R&D, or something to change sentiment and give confidence to the market,"
Why, they made the money and couldn't give a ****.
Been like that since the start, shareholders are a nuisance
It was known.
