Once we are on the American market and release news! The Americans will be saying "They do what in England?". "We all needs some BSFA" and probably will start firing guns into the ceiling of their houses in order to celebrate all our rnses!
They have the equipment and labs and likely were fully aware that they could grow a fillet before they grew this latest one! Likely grown loads behind the scene and tasted them before! I am not neccessrily expecting the showcase to happen imminently however by the same token it could as their is every possiblity that they could well have already started to grow the fillets for the showcase some time ago.
I wouldn't be surprised if this company has some takeover offers in the near term as so many companies will see the sense of getting into this space and even paying many multiples of the current mcap is peanuts when considering the competitive advantage BSFA would bring.
However in seperate news I found this seems like another company is using serum free media. I am not sure that it matters much as there is room for more than one player in this space plus I am sure I read something about citymix being extra good as it meant they didn't need a scaffold or something which may be very significant. Either way I suspect many large companies with deep pockets will be keeping a very close eye on us in the coming months https://m.foodingredientsfirst.com/news/singapore-reigns-supreme-on-cultivated-meat-regulation-as-tech-leaders-edge-toward-commercialization.html guess the point I am making is companies
How many they produced? They are in a lab with the neccessary equipment personally I would run a few experiments at the same time unless there is some technicality that I am not aware of that prevents them from doing this? Perhaps we will have some unexpected RNS about having produced fillets of 100percent chicken or beef in the coming days or weeks also!
Cultivated meat is projected to be 35% of the global meat industry by 2040. The meat industry is projected to be worth 1.8trillion by 2040! Exciting and Ethical sector to be invested in.
New scientist "The protein found in meat alternatives made from wheat and soy may be less well absorbed by the small intestine into the bloodstream than protein from chicken, but whether this leads to nutritional deficiencies is unknown" https://www.newscientist.com/article/2325589-protein-from-plant-based-meat-may-be-less-well-absorbed-by-the-body/
Merry Xmas OMI holders! Wouldn't surprise me if we had an rns and a decent rise as soon as market re-opens after Crimbo break. Hopefully we get more of a rise today but if not no worries news will be coming fast and we are currently probably the cheapest share on the market for what we potentially have! Give it a week tops and I expect any sellers will be rushing to buy back in!
Can anyone explain to me why/the advantages in establishing New Agrarian instead of simply do a placing in ANIC at market value to raise cash from new investment? Apologize if this seems like a stupid post.
Anyday we could have results drop that could quadruple the share price within a couple of days! Not worried about small sp fluctuations waiting for the big re-rate! Not ramping seen it happen many times before and therefore easily possible and omi seems to have all the correct fundamentals in place for it to happen. Coiled spring imo!
Another important point about cultured meat is it causes zero deforestation! Arguably the worst part of the meat industry is the rainforest deforestation caused by having to grow so much soy crops for animal feed.
