Hi Panama. For what it’s worth, I totally agree with your logic. Unfortunately for some investors here, we could end up with the 52 week low and high being very close together, while we await the outcome of this transitional period. I for one, am very confident and optimistic with regard to final outcome. Good luck to everyone invested here !!
Typical mm’s dealings. They will keep playing the sp to suit their own agendas, regardless of official positive news. That is what they are paid to do. As a comparison, they have been doing the same with Greatland’s sp, for the best part of 2 years. Once they have had enough of Kodal, they will move on to another company and do exactly the same. Everyone has their own plan and should believe in that. Be patient and all will come good in the end. This is only my personal view though. Good luck to all genuinely invested here !
With regard to the current sp, it’s what the mm’s do best. It’s their job to try and undermine any company’s sp, no matter how good or bad they are. Manipulation is the name of game on AIM. You either believe in the company or not, do your research and trust your own judgement. Everyone has different goals and should ignore the doom and gloom brigade. At the end of the day, they have nothing better to do !
Hi TimberTrader. You mentioned manipulation in your post. I for one am amazed that the mm’s haven’t done their usual trick and brought the sp tumbling down. It’s really refreshing to see the sp taking baby steps up and to read, for the most part, the positivity on this board. Good luck all and enjoy the weekend !!
Hi Ben. Good observation. It will be interesting to see what unfolds tomorrow and if the exact same scenario plays out. The mm’s have been typically predictable, after today’s rns. Let’s just wait and see what transpires tomorrow and let the plot thicken. Always good to read your thoughts !
To answer your question, there is no real reason. It’s the same old scenario being played out by the mm’s, literally every time a RNS is announced and published. This company‘s share price is so manipulated by the mm’s, that it beggars belief. Keep the faith and your patience will eventually be rewarded. This is only my personal opinion and not based on any factual information.
Hi LoggyLogbot. The world of business is quite often a curious thing. You never know what’s being discussed in a boardroom. Rio could well have one eye on the prize. If the recent takeover of Newcrest by Newmont means a change of strategy, who knows ! We shall all have to wait and see, how things pan out. No pun intended. Good luck to all invested here and keep the faith !!

Hi Toffers. To answer your post at 13:49, the mm’s will let the sp move when they get paid to. Greatland have post some excellent results at times via rns and the sp has fallen. The same occurs on any poor news. The whole system is corrupt. As individual investors, we just have to wait patiently until our individual targets are achieved. In the meantime, good luck !!
Sisu147. Couldn’t have put it better myself. There have been numerous posters, on here, commenting on the blatant manipulation that appears to be going on with the so. Unfortunately, for us individual investors, things will never change. Those in power, that could make a change, will never intervene, as they are all “ MATES “ ! All we can do is, be patient and trust our decision to invest in Greatland in the first place. Good luck to all genuinely invested here !!
Hi Bamps. I’m definitely not going to hold you to it, but it will be interesting to see how close your prediction could turn out to be. I realise that factors such as unpredictable weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns, drilling issues, etc, etc, will come into play. I will make a note and check again in January. In the meantime, good luck with your investment here !
I am always reading posts on this board, whether it be of a positive or negative nature. At times like we are experiencing currently, it is very easy to look for someone to blame. Yes we have seen several 52 week low’s in our sp, but I honestly don’t think that Shaun Day is to blame. The situation that Greatland find themselves in at the moment, is a complex one. Joint venture partner takeover, ASX listing, mm manipulation, etc, are out of his control. Once the dust has settled, hopefully 2024 should show an upturn in fortunes. Investing or speculating in any company shares is risky and should be taken into account when commenting good or bad. I am being patient and positive and remain confident in Shaun’s ability to turn things around. Good luck to all invested here for the future !!
Rorydinho. “ I can’t help but feel this MRE has purposefully been held back until after the ASX listing to let Aussie investors in before any major SP increase/re rate.”
I must admit that I have held that belief for quite a while now. I believe that GGP was hyped, some years ago now, causing a share price spike close to 40p. The share price, only in my opinion, has been deliberately held back by the instructional investors. Individual investors, in some cases, have cut their loses, only for the institutions to take advantage. I was a believer in Shaun Day, but now I’m not so sure if his true motives. I just feel that he his just paying lip service to private investors, especially to those that attend the town hall meetings. I hope that I am proven wrong in the long term, but having been invested here since the 0.5p per share days during Gervaise Heddles reign, I’m really not so sure anymore. Good luck to all invested here though !!
I’ve just signed the petition, number 3795. Interesting that the petition was created by Archie Norman, the man, along with Allan Leighton, who revived the fortunes of Asda in the early 90’s.
Good evening Archways. Sorry that I’m late to reply. I’ve read your post from earlier and am staggered as to what you have had to endure and overcome. It really does put things in life into perspective. All I can add is, please remain as positive as possible and look forward to 31st of May 2025 !! Good luck !!
Nice to see the sp currently blue ! I just hope that, as per usual with a positive rns, that it isn’t red by the end of trading. It’s difficult to comprehend the outcome of all that has been announced this morning, the proposed dual listing and the Newcrest / Newmont deal. It’s a lot to digest all in one go and will only become more clear in due course. Great positive news and a lot to look forward to. Very exciting times indeed !
Hi Panama. You make some extremely valid points, most notably, “If I’m wrong it’s my decision. That’s the hard bit “. For an investment like this, it’s not for the faint hearted and you should never go in blindly, on the say so of a so called expert on a chat forum. I was fortunate enough to take a punt, in GGP, during the early days of Gervaise Heddle’s period as head. Times have changed, the prospects have changed and so has the enormous potential of GGP. We can only wait patiently, to see what unfolds, especially with regard to our partner in the Havieron prospect. I firmly believe in the company and the management team, if any investor does not, then it’s time to get out. GLA genuinely invested here !!
