Pumpky... Thinning blood is a sloppy description... Both aspirin and FF prevent unwanted platelet activation whereby they become spikey and able to stick together to form a clot. Smooth platelets allow the blood to flow freely.
What about all the media medics who had a private one on one with O'Kennedy and the science behind Fruitflow including Dr Hilary who is on TV daily...
Some on here might wish to give them a prod since their view on Fruitflow are clearly posted on the Fruitflow plus home page...
For those familiar with the FF science it works on 3 levels where as Aspirin only on 1 which again could be a plus factor.
Pumpy - I’m no medic but whenever I give blood the nurses always comment how well my blood flows. The last time we discussed FF and she took a note.
Covid has blindsided us, will be interesting to she how our BoD have reacted. For me I am intrigued to know why the sudden drop in FF order numbers....
W$
But does FF thin the blood? We know what it does do though;imho should be promoting it from the rooftops
Natural and a UK Invention.........Boris would like that

Jenny Harries,Deputy Chief Medical Officer, regularly assists in the daily national tv briefing,is also a practicing GP-wonder
if she's even aware of Fruitflow? One for the Q&A session! A govt. endorsement/campaign to support healthy blood flow would be to their advantage to in relation to the health of their nation & implications thereafter, that we are all now sadly too familiar with-both personally, socially, medically & economic.
A few tabloid articles praising FFs benefits a few years back, should also now be re-printed as now have even more relevance.
The importance of healthy blood is right @ the top of agendas atm.
"finding a way to reduce the accute inflammation in the lungs which leads to the creation of sticky blood-the source of the problem"
Sticky platelets appear to be a major player in Covid cykotine storm.Inflammation of the lung triggers the body's immune system to go into overdrive, resulting in critically ill patients.
General blood health-prior to any infection-should perhaps be a NICE priority, rolling out the awareness of Fruitflow to all GPs,with its proven no side effects, alongside the other knowns which have. If on GPs radar, they in return could help raise public awareness to promote the value of healthy blood flow-crucial in so many health issues, none more so than right now.
That seems to make a convincing case for the use of Aspirin and as we know long term use is not advised , another compelling argument for the use of ff as a preventative imo
PXS has already been sent the Aspirin trial info...
If their claims and science behind Fruitflow stacks up and one would assume they have access to the trials Bi Health have conducted too then there should be a massive push to promote FF as a way of reducing the risk of covid19 secondary side effects such as blood clots and strokes...
'In summary, the early use of aspirin in covid-19 patients, which has the effects of inhibiting virus replication, anti-platelet aggregation, anti-inflammatory and anti-lung injury, is expected to reduce the incidence of severe and critical patients, shorten the length of hospital duration and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular complications.'

behind curve in terms of news, yes, but action....? Time will tell.
What a product not to be potentially contributing!
We can all agree that the BB has woken up at long last. I responded to the monthly FF newsletter and I have also contacted the Company. In both cases, politely pointing out that we should be advertising what we have. No response, but perhaps some activity behind closed doors. We do have a very clever scientist on the BOD. I would like to believe that she is fully aware of the situation. If nothing comes of this, we really are way behind the curve.
Surely we have a product in fruitflow that could be very useful. Read the link.

Well, they would certainly be able to release an RNS in light of chat board speculation, and they'd be able to quote the patents regarding platelet aggregation. Not denying that, just saying that there could be other forms of aggregation against which nothing is proven. We'll see, but undeniably the can of worms is open now.
Good post DD77. AVACTA is a company which believes whole heartedly in what could potentailly be its world beating product.
It has a hugely impressive tactically astute CEO and isn't letting itself be ignored by the naturally conservative (at least till Covid) pharma majors.
its not against market rules to speculate alfista as long as the RNS makes it clear what is speculated (or to use the term in this weeks IMM RNS postulated).
In any event it is not speculation to refer to the very recent research tending to show that spiky platelets can cause critical blood clots in a substantial number of Covid patients. And regular consumption of fruitflow deals with spiky platelets.
Get in into an RNS and then if any dots still need to be joined DSM donate one weeks pocket money.
It isn't a medicine. We don't need phases one two and three.
Of course they can, loads of companies do. Avacta who i'm also invested in put one out yesterday on potentially being able to prevent covid 19

apols-broke to watch. Fasinating as disturbing.
PXS alone ,or hand in hand alongside DSM should be working fast to further research.
My feel is they are. And potential here could be the gem in their portfolio.
BBC News right NOW -Sticky platelets!
Dead wrong.
A company can't put out anything speculative such as that. Against market rules.
All you want is a stampede to get out on.
Any number of genuine reasons are feasible, none of them being you cynical view.
We know that studies take a long time, and, if they are clinical, would require the recruitment of volunteers against a backdrop of loads of other studies, some funded by big pharma.
Totally unrealistic
So, release an RNS saying they believe FF+ has potential benefits for covid symptoms which they are keen to investigate further............it's not difficult. There are only 2 reasons why they would not - they either do not believe in the product or they just can't be bothered with the effort
Amazing that IF must of had in the region of ( Incl share options ) £2 mill out of PXS.
can aggregate inside blood vessels and potentially cause blood clots.
That is trite. DSM literature says so. It needs no further proof.
The PXS boards communication level is dire. We haven't had a clue on their thinking in years. The chairmans annual statement imo might as well be a copy and paste excercise.
They can't be bothered being proactive imo. Moon had no vision for the product and neither it appears has his succesors. They have offloaded it to the "experts" who don't particularly need fruitflow to do well.
Nothing imo will change here because shareholders have either sold up like me or live in hope like some on here(good luck) or they've had the stuffing knocked out of them.
Potential yes.
Proven?
Adding one and one and getting ten thousand is not something a company can do, despite hopeful punters longing for it.
I hope they do jump on the bandwagon, just so i can get out of this share with some semblence of a return. The 6 month blackout on information is scandalous, particularly in mind of the potential benefits FF could bring.
I'm in agreement with you that Fruitflow should be studied, and sure that the scientists would have been all over the news that Covid has drastic effects on blood vessels. How much further they could take it is questionable, since the media suggest that the research is being carried out at high security centres such as Porton Down. Eyes will be watching Dr Asim's social media for any observations, and I don't doubt that brands with existing or potential Fruitflow versions will be asking questions of the technical team.
Time will tell, I know you want faster action than that, it would be a shame if the information was published after the crisis is over, but I have a strong feeling that it will be.
