The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
'that' scenerio is a "25% chance of another 'catastrophic' pandemic within next 5 years" (GB News)...coupled with
the Cabinet Office's new register which includes the potential for another deadly pathogen 'escaping' (or otherwise) from a lab posing serious treat- should send alarm bells ringing, for the UK govt. to be proactive & not reactive (again!) if either of the above-or indeed another scenerio-plays out. ie: Preparedness....step up SNG.
defo a Q for the next AGM Ghia. As you say...this is quite probably a vast, worldwide issue to be faced...not
so distant future.
And exactly what other (specific) avenues of preventative conditions are/have/will be deemed appropriate
for investigation. Broad spectrum....how broad?
dear Joey & Wigster..
this is staggering....every other young adult appears to be puffing away...oblivious! And wont change any time soon,
its too darn lucrative & the 'kudos' is huge & the advetising faux glam.
Can someone (who does) flag up to the company to investigate & report any findings ...if applic.
cheers!
agree with Brysoa..
even £10 is derogatory for this antiviral drug with massive potential..that (ok) hasnt been proven in one set of results , but with the data produced thus far, may be used to expedite another trial-which could deliver a favorable outcome sooner than some would anticipate.
we may think.
100% Tommy …this has to be the go-to route for hospitalised cases(with introduction of steroid use as plan B ) .
Synairgen HAS to prove this ..
I would still love for sngoo1 to be available in inhaler format for home-use…to nip poss development of symptoms in the bud ( dreaming big ) .
Best wishes all.
Everyone talks as though an 'available' vaccine will (always) suffice in the fight to quash covid strains.
What if (heaven forbid) that actually wasnt the case with a future freak strain? ..Synairgen surely has a future role.
i hope if skewed trial (if that is indeed ,as some suggest, to be the case based on inconsistency between countries)... & resulting therefore skewed outcome...will be challenged by bod to request fair re-trial @ speed( on ba.2 patients, apparently a far more virulent strain than Omicron ).
I guess we await confirmation of actual facts & keep safe all, whilst we do .
just look @ the States -already several affected with this (worse than Omicron) variant.
Sng needed more than ever ..
RM & team wont give up, im sure, in pursuit of a stand-alone (steroid absent) trial which is still desperately
required to help tackle what we all, potentially, may face ahead .
i listened to a scientific expert only the other day -I know each have different specialist opinions but he in
particular ruled out gteeing that future strains of Covid would necessarily be weaker.
And anyway-Sng will hopefully be proven to address future viral diseases too.
