The offer is for new shares 3 available for every 14 owned @ 0.04p per share.
It's cheaper to buy on the open market at the moment
Why would anyone take up the offer?
?
Yes, odx directors have offered tens of millions of cheap shares to investors, problem being they have run the business so badly and crashed the price below the asking price, so I doubt they will be able to sell one. Another embarrassing blunder by Simon, jag and the other overpaid wonders. For their next trick perhaps David Blaine can create the illusion that are great business people, hang on I doubt even he's that good !!
The difference is that proceeds from the open offer go to the company, whereas buying shares in circulation already lines others pockets (or bails them out!)
Not offering advice either way. Just that the company is seeking a cash injection to help the recovery, if there is even a plan for that.
Turtle - the other difference is that any shares got through open offer rather than buying in the market dilute the whole issue.
The company need to learn to make enough money to survive without constantly penalising existing lth who gave been faithful
Captain- Trying to be concerned in lth interests ,really after what you have continually been doing. Why don't you think of what you are doing Captain Disgraceful and comical come to mind
"really after what you have continually been doing"
Yes Swag......you have been continually commenting (correctly as it turns out) about how hopeless this company is. Shame on you.
I threw an egg at George Alagiah the other day whilst he was reading the news out on BBC 1......he got me soooooo angry talking about the war in Ukraine. I hate the man!!!
Do you think that is reasonable or am I a spangle?
Trader- Don't need your input you might change your mind as soon as you've posted, or perhaps you and Captain are closer to the board than you wish to let on .As I said the other day to you "Investigations Investigations" Let's see if you belittle and mock on here then
Trader- I bet the egg missed anyway you probably changed your mind midflight
For the record I thought ODX were a good outfit and I thought the shares were going a lot higher.
At 12p (far too late) I changed my mind and sold out.
That seems to have been a good decision since the SP is knocking on the 3p door now.
The moral of the story is don't be afraid to change your mind.....it's not a crime. Be flexible in your thinking and always keep assessing.
ODX are doomed. Time will tell if I am right or wrong. What is fact and obvious....I wasn't wrong in selling at 12p and those who continued to hold....like Kate.....got it very wrong. Tons of people called it far better than me and got out much higher but eventually I had to take my medicine.
Some folks on here simply refuse to accept the glaringly obvious fact that at some point they will need to take their medicine too!
Trader- Yes 12p is higher than today's price but that doesn't mean that you were right
Yes you have that money and yes you could now buy just over 3 times as many shares but are you right in all your posts no You are a supposed day trader sometimes who thinks he has to explain himself on here, when you have shown to be wrong previously
Trader yes I still hold here with a reduced average to what I had,so am I wrong Yes maybe but then again no,I may be in a better position than you.
Why is that you may ask because I have been honest unlike many here, you can decide Trader if you have been honest
Today you are wrong.
In the future if the price goes to 15p, 20p or higher you will have been correct to hold and averaging down will have been a shrewd move.
The fact remains today, in real time, as I write......you were wrong.
I, like many others, am a self confessed ODX loser as I write today (initially a big winner but eventually I lost those gains and some) I really cannot see how I would want to lie about that !!!!
and for the record my losses were my fault. Yes there were all sorts of characters posting all sorts of stuff on here but the fact remains I was duped and had I known the reality of what was going on behind closed doors and the wall of silence at ODX I would not have been invested in ODX.
We were fed little positive tweets etc. and tat made me hang around far too long.
The SP doesn't really lie though. People can wet themselves thinking there are more buys than sells but if the SP is dropping supply is simply outstripping demand!
"Yes Swag......you have been continually commenting (correctly as it turns out) about how hopeless this company is. Shame on you"
Trader..unfortunately I did not learn enough about odx in time to save me £10000s. And like you I take full responsibility...I pressed the buy button ..there was no gun to my head.
I got blinded by the gov contract...the lesson learnt is to read the contract fully...see the holes myself...and also not assume that because the gov awarded a contract that I don't have to do as much due diligence on the bod. I should have done much more research on their 30 years without seemingly making a profit.
I am not sure why you are spending time on " waste of spacey Katey"..it is amusing in small doses but tbh wrestling with pigs just gets you muddy and the porky enjoys it. Waste of spacey never has any content on odx itself just chasing other posters around the board...depending who her victim of the day is
I get people don't want to hear what the likes of you and I are saying...it is hard to admit that maybe you got it totally wrong and that the money has gone...but maybe it would be better to cut losses and try another share etc...just because it has dropped 97 per cent does not mean it will rise again
Captain- You have now said your bit,but be truthful what have you posted on this board. No can't remember ,well shall I remind you .You have posted very little positively for someone who was supposed to be invested here. You systematically posted with other posters insulting remarks to a CEO of a company you were supposed to be invested in.You continually tried to belittle the company so really you posted negatively.
I wonder why ,now I've said this before and it seems to be correct in what I have posted
I think you/or/and Trader are actually Directors of Omega Diagnostics .Seems plausible both had shares continually trying to get people to sell ,by continually posting which turns out to be correct
I thought this before you and Trader it's sounds correct
Captain- I must be getting close to the truth, you are starting name calling again. Now I wonder, you didn't like the CEO,you couldn't get rid of him so you consistently posted bad things knowing that the worse your posts got the outcome would be ideal for you
Question is,which one are you Captain?
You probably won't respond truthfully as you now are remaining silent
Afraid captain I agree that the scruffy students destruction of share vue does not mean it will automatically rise again. I can't bring myself to refer to jag ect as directors as that belittles the many competent directors up and down the land. This will take significant good news now to restore confidence and struggle with the notion jag is upto the job. Soon see with cd4 sale !
You've rumbled me.....I am indeed a director at ODX.
Was it you superb intellect that helped solve the riddle
How did you work it out......was it when I tried to dissuade everyone from getting involved in the last placing!!! Yes I am a director that wants the company to fold......very plausible!
You like the word "belittle". You need to try and politely extend your vocabulary.
Trader- Can't help it can you.Trying to better yourself,my mocking and dismissing the most plausible reasoning for your persistent sarcastic replies to the most credible explaination for your BELITTLING on this board .Any good Trader
Trader- I think you'll probably just do your usual response Let's wait and see
Not at all Kate, as I say you are right, I am a director of ODX (I am not really)
Remember you are not sitting on a loss Kate as you haven't sold yet (She is sitting on a massive loss really)
You were wise not to sell higher up and to retain these precious shares (She regrets not selling out really)
You were right at being annoyed that the nasty MM's prevented you from selling around the 50p mark (she never got stopped from selling really, she is deluded)
You were wise to keep averaging down and fill your boots at these really low prices (She is not, it still has further to drop before it goes pop)
You were right to get the FBI onto me, I deserve it (she hasn't really, they would laugh their socks off when she starts to tell her tale)
In short Kate....you are a star and my hero.
Trader- Believe it or not but all of your points in your last post are actually not correct .Especially the bits in the brackets, where in fact they are probably the opposite of what you have posted You have said one thing o. your last post which is correct,I'll let you think which one.In the mean time I'm watching Emmerdale now which I find more entertaining.Bye
Call it a miracle but that's now three, ring your c**ktail bell jag.
calderkate
you are one of the only people still flogging this dead horse, just throw the towel in and sell whatever value they still have left.
