@Anders_uk
Totally agree
Indeed looks like things are starting to finally turn around again.
Superb
correction: LONGEVITY
Porky,
If you apply the same logic Microgen could receive £136M from their share of the £20B contract. It's going to be an interesting week or two.

Just want to chip in here:
This is SIGNIFICANT news for us. Now I am not sure what this will equate to in monetary value as it will not be an even split. It will also come down to capacity to supply over the next few years and well if Novacyt are filling say a large US order in a given period they may not have as much capacity to supply DHSC.
However, if all things ere equal its at least £ 52m value but more likely ahead of where we were before. Which is a real positive.
But the key take from this as identified is LONGVITY of the contract. This is a 4-year win and frankly just what we require to move us towards a proper rating, rather than this cash value we are on and just what we need.
Cannot know if they will RNS Monday, they might do it when they confirm the rest of the position but as sure as eggs is eggs the SP is going North shortly. Fantastic.
Good luck all, we deserve a break here…
Pork’s
Hi Kaeren, i actually only got in for a short term play at around 780p. Stuck with it now haha but glad i invested in a cash rich, money making company that has in-demand products. Shouldn't be stuck for long! :)
Hi Chris , nice to see you here , yes, it would be nice. Anything over a lengthy duration is positive.
This award is up to 4 years so may cement annual revenue with the added effect of allowing the market to apply a sensible P/E ratio to the valuation. A proper P/E alone could multiply the SP. They won't need a lot of the entire £22bn to see a fast recovery here.
Expectations? The update said that 2021 might not meet e
expectations. Since then we have had the release of an antibody test and now we can see microgen tenders using the pathfinder range. Whilst the DHSC contract is the biggie who had the antibody test and pathfinder tender priced in. The tender might come to nothing but the prospects add value. Versalab is in its initial stages but could take off quickly. A spate of variant outbreaks and huge numbers of tests are sold.
I think the share price is a very pessimistic one. Versalab is not being put in place for a short term exercise. It will cost too much. It is for long term revenues and it could stop the need to buy another company at this moment In time.
The problem.. the sun is out and everyone is out enjoying the sun.. it's fantastic. And everyone thinks the fat lady has stopped singing. She has not.!! Its just a toilet break.

Correction, this is not an amendment to the £22bn tender, only the first lot award.
See this link and you'll see that the remaining £19bn is still due.
So much going on, so many exciting new tests/tenders/awards, it's brilliant. The only sad thing is it's the pi's on here that have to dig to find it all. Novacyt should be telling us. Anyhow it's all great and positive and potentially good for the sp going forward. On that note, I'm off to the zoo with my boy and his cousin (might even find a cage to leave them in hehehe) - wish me luck!! Have a good day everyone
This is the amended £22bn tender that was put out in November 2020. If you click on the tender notice at the right hand side it takes you to the initial tender.
Bing lol I'll happily step in and resolve that matter.
I think the dispute was over who was contracted to pay for the cucumber and salmon sandwiches at the meetings , : )
I guess how much of the tender any supplier relieves will depend on their capacity to meet demand and the usefulness of their products. Question is, do we find out a minimum amount or do we have to wait every quarterly update. Good news is that long term tender like this will warrant a much higher P/E.
And if it was it would be £26.78mil per company, therefore just over £52mil to NCYT as primer and Microgen are listed.
112 different companies - any surprises - missing or otherwise ?
Does the fact that Microgen and Primerdesign are listed maybe suggest the Govt dispute with Novacyt may not be so serious ?
Chard it’s not £3mil as they aren’t evenly distributed.
Thanks, I meant what time frame for them to announcement who they have awarded the contracts to and the time frame
@O1 - Dated 16th April
Hi, this tender anyone know when it will announced......thks
£3 mill awarded to Primer? Over 4 yrs?
Yes and they are government contracts...!! Very positive.
Microgen and Primer Design take a share of £3bn, got to be a positive ?

Not sure if this has been posted but there’s a new tender out, amount unknown.
