While we wait for the RNS here is a refresher from the 2019 RNS about Heron:
As part of the Reserves Reporting preparations, the Company commissioned Leap Energy to prepare a CPR for the northern part of Block XX where the Company's discoveries are located. The CPR concluded that the Heron structure has mean, unrisked in-place oil resource potential of 194 million barrels. This is 20% higher than the Company's initial internal assessment and offers the potential for substantial commercial value given the low-cost, onshore operating environment and the favourable Mongolian fiscal regime.
Fenix Consulting Delft, a specialist in reservoir stimulation, has modelled the Heron 1 well test data to assess the production and recovery potential of the Tsagaantsav oil sands found in the well. They concluded that modern stimulation techniques and reservoir pressure support through produced water re-injection can improve oil recovery significantly from the levels achieved to date in neighbouring blocks. Further enhancement by slanted or horizontal drilling to increase reservoir contact and radial drilling to enhance wellbore drainage are additional technologies under consideration to increase well productivity. These techniques have not been widely used in Mongolia to date.
The work conducted by Fenix combined with the resource numbers from the CPR support the base case submitted to the Mongolian Government of an appraisal/development programme on the Heron discovery targeting a mean recoverable reserve of 33 million barrels using a recovery factor of only 17%. This is in line with what has been achieved to date in Mongolia and there is considerable upside potential that could be realised through the application of the improved oil recovery techniques as detailed above.
Wow .. three ticks ups for that post now...
Take a bow anyone who has previously offered here that Mr WOS has multiple logins/aliases for this LSE BB Service :-)
I'm guessing that 1 tick up for my last post is from Mr WOS, Sir ?!
And I'm further guessing I won't be getting any more tick ups for that post ?
And finally, Tick this post up if you'd like Mr WOS to increase his posting here to a minimum of 100 posts per day thru the coming weeks, Sirs
Towards him trying doing a better job of talking this s/p up !
(as his 50 ish ? posts per day seems to only be achieving talking this s/p down, alas.. )
PS: What I'd very much like is s/p momentum to have build AHEAD of the big news drop... so the news bomb drops when s/p is in the 4's p for eg .. not in the late 2's p to early 3'sp range for eg...
All the 3's....
3p s/p = 33m market cap
Punchy enough market cap still?
Above has me ask what are peoples latest exit s/p targets here?
I'll go 6p exit price target for me now.. (down from my 7.5p target in 23)
Stas20: _"They are all in loss positions". Speak for yourself. I wish everyone luck and profits when investing (eherever that may be).
I for one am still in the green/blue - yes, even at this level!
Mr Geo - very true π―!!
Hey, iamrich is back!
No brains DikDoc83 at it again lol
It's you who needs to get a grip btw. The BB is about Matd not the posters you dislike.
Mr Stas
Maybe think about what you post.
MATD are not about to go into Administration but are loving towards TRANSFORMATIONAL RNS - think there is bug difference there π
This will open up path to regain value with massive upside Potential tual from here. Just today British Ambassador Ms Fiona Blythe on Bloomberg talking about Renewable energy for Mongolia - which UK company is involved in this & who was she meeting few weeks ago?
Ans: Petro Matad / Mr Mike Buck
All this with Heron Production base which RNS will open up.
Research help π¦
My post simply stating what Cybertron posted on 15/12 has been deleted?!
Honestly, LSE. Get a grip.
"Go back to COPL maybe and ask where your wise judgement was when you invest in that!"
lol really, did you miss the matd chart, from 212p to 3p, I'm sure their are many long term holders in profit, err not, they are ALL in loss positions.
Matad is mainly Herders and herding pastureland but this was not issue I mention in my post 12:03 was it?
Maybe read latest RNS from 19th Dec to see situation now!
Do you think I am "dumping" stock like you say? You say this because you cannot say anything else sensible.
Go back to COPL maybe and ask where your wise judgement was when you invest in that!
I invest in MATD because it is not like si many other rubbish AIM gamble and is one of VERY BEST RISK v REWARD.
Think you understand this also and why you here now π
Do not wait to long!! π¦
Laguelle : So if it's all such a waste of time, and the problems are intractable, what exactly are you doing on here ? I presume you just enjoy the feeling of schadenfreude ?
I remember people at the time saying that the exploitation licence would not be granted - it was after lengthy delays.
I remember people saying that the special purpose designation would not be granted - it was.
This will be the same - as per the RNS, the governor his already stated that he will sign, and the other 3 items mentioned in the RNS are down to central government admin processes - and clearly they have already demonstrated that they are supportive of MATD. Clearly the special purpose designation wouldn't have happened if they aren't.
Mr Laguelle
I see in all your posts you do not reference LATEST RNS from 19th Dec!
Lot of talk about Herder & local opposition from 4 years ago but nothing about Herder compensation agreed AND local Coutyze s group support now.
Why missing out this key points? π€
Think we understand & also same reason for same negative voices to be here EVERY day! π
BIG things expected here!
Still low volume here and price can easily be moved by single big holder who decide to dump to manipulate price like Mr Investior33 talk about to FLIP FLOP posting also for this.
When RNS come & positions become bigger & better hold will not be so easy to manipulate like this am sure.
This isxway I always say - Focus on INVESTMENT! π¦
Thanks for the updates.
Quietly waiting.
Garym..... WOS called the RNS in July within 24 hours . Its the one about the Cabinet signing off the land access as " Special Purpose Land " because its seen as a project of national importance!! Obviously that was subject to fine detail like herder compensationand a redrawn map with correct boundary or two shown on plan.
Least the company is still functioning even though their communication is lacking
Wow! That's a bit of a position shift from approximately weeks ago.
Cybertron, what converted you into an ΓΌber ramper ?
But anyway! WOS has guaranteed us an RNS this week and Cyber has another "strong feeling" it will be tomorrow, so hopefully we can rely on that for news this week!
I dont think local opposition is the anywhere like it was if the reports we received in the last RNS are anything to go by.
I still suspect it's more to do with the Finance Ministry having kittens over the thought of agreeing to a non standard compensation payment mechanism, particularly as it assists a "foreign company".
I thought local government was ok and we need ministry of finance to release the fund!
One thing is for sure, we have been waiting a very long time for this to get sorted. The SP just gets lower and lower because nothing seems to be progressing.
Watch how many deramping posts now come in from the wasters who are blatantly trying to spread lies and fear to get in a few percent lower, shameless as a humans really,
