Also, dont forget that Blocks 4 and 5 were the ones that BG were very interested in and farmed into. Thats a big endorsement of the potential that a large oil company like BG were willing to farm in. Yes, when Shell purchased BG and scrapped exploration that BG had planned in many countries (including Mongolia) the farm out ended, but do not overlook the fact that BG were happy with the Technical side and willing to go for drilling. Now, its those same Blocks 4 and 5 being drilled with Snow Leopard and Wild Horse - but now 100% MATD owned.

Snow Leopard has major upside apart from the stated 90million barrel targets.

The price is weak as there is still an overhang from the first placing at 7.5p earlier this year........there are holders from there who planned to sell for a 50% profit into spud, but who got caught out with the second fund raise at 10p to add the 2 extra drills in early 2019.

As with any overhang, nobody knows when the seller will stop, but when they do the price will move up rapidly......just a case of filling your boots with cheap stock now :)

Mannan, PVR was deep OFF shore drill and quite expensive. MATD drilling all ON shore and quite cheap with drill costs ranging from $2m-$7m each. BIG difference dude.

Might i suggest a bit of fun for those using the board, what about each of us guessing the share price at close of play for next Friday, as its my suggestion i will off course lead.

My suggestion. They had the right chap. They let the chap go. Get the chap back !! If a bit of quality adds to the operating overhead, in my view that's money well spent.

As usual some have misinterpreted my post, my point was that we are all gamblers greedy for more money so there is no moral high ground to take, and also D1 may I just point out another inaccurate point you have made, Matd mcap is £57m currently and not the £46m you state, this site has the number of shares in issue wrong. I would say this board is made up of traders that dont really have a clue and are gambling money they can’t afford to lose, and a few sophisticated investors that are here for all the wells who can afford to lose it all if they don’t strike. This will only stop falling once the institutional investors stop selling and no one knows when that will be atm, all talk of an oil strike rns after 7 days of drilling is laughable given it’s a 70 day drill as confirmed via rns

We have the beast of beasts to be drilled straight after snow leopard in September. The biggest drill on aim in 2018. What is not to like about that?. Snow leopard is a free punt. If sl comes in the momentum that will build going into wild horse.... Fundraiser - knows the potential here is off the scale. Mongolia national oil company :) Matd could also get some of the other available blocks in the future

With all due respect, M.Buck took over as CEO about 7 months ago and not only have communications not improved, they've gotten worse, Exhibit A, Spud Announcement! I take your point that Mike is honest, capable and working hard on our behalf, but the communications shortcomings remain and that is undeniable. This is concerning as we may get an RNS soon reporting shows and what if that one is fumbled too?

Obviously something needs to change and quickly. Are we truly sitting on one of the greatest onshore frontier exploration opportunities left in the world? If the answer is yes, then the PR/communications effort needs serious work, else our shares wouldn't be at 8.75p. I think the shortcomings begin and end with their PR company FTI and they have to account for that. You are correct that Mike should be able to get on with finding oil, but he needs a motivated and able PR effort.

Snow leopard is being targeted to produce 90 million barrels but has the potential to produce 500million barrels.

The price of oil is well into the $70 plus range.

Onshore production should be a maximum of $30 - $35 per barrel.

Profit should be $35 -$40 per barrel and probably a lot more if forecasts are to be believed.

Lifetime profit on snow leopard should equate to between $3.15 billion and $3.6 billion.....but there is the potential to realise 500 million barrels at snow leopard which would equate to a lifetime profit of between $17.5 billion and $20 billion.

Then we have wild horse where targets are 480 million barrels with potential of 750 million barrels. That equates to a lifetime profit of between $16.8 billion and $30 billion.

Now we are at a lifetime profit of $50 billion on two prospects, not counting block XX or the rest of blocks IV and V.

This is not hundreds of thousands, or millions or tens of millions waiting to be realised here. This is tens, if not, hundreds of billions of profit awaiting shareholders.

We have an mcap currently sitting at just under £46 million.

Imagine that Matd hit oil at both snow leopard and wild horse, then any farm in or takeover would have to be some serious, serious money.

10% takeover bid on the relative valuation of the lifetime profit on snow leopard and wild horse would be circa $5 billion which is roundabout $9 per share.

Hold for gold.
