Like I’ve said many times on here I will never vote for Corbyn... I was just pointing out thar the Tory party was now similar to the AfD in the Fatherland .... my politics are definitely moderate .... when I donated for my stepsons campaign I made sure it went to him and not the Labour Party ..
JLs speaking of Derby where is Tricky .. has he had the LSE red card
I like the analogy jl5006......

Anyone who lays eggs in anothers basket can never be trusted -
The cuckoo - has no holding but borrows others - or not - just words and in the end without profit!
Pat so can we assume you think Corbyn the Jew hater will make a good pm? You must be in a group of about 1.
Pat
even worse
The split toothed I am to be PM command that those with MPs attend an event I have arranged with Sky -I have sort of 5 MPs - u must attend
Should she have a policy to discuss other then dny the ppl fine. She doesn't- back to sweinson dear!
Pat
U must be from derby - just seen the latest a bout the new standing about the failed becket - what a failure she was!
Pat your political centre of gravity is practically Marxist if you think the Tories aren't anything but centre left now.
Boomer ... you must be living in a fantasy land how many Tory MPs have left stating that “it’s not the party I joined “ indicating it’s move to the far right ... I’m sure Francois Baker Patterson and IDS would turn up in black shirts if they could ... Boomer I had you down as being intelligent not deluded
Really must build the next runway at HW - forget HS2
About evens then?
" For Corbyn to want to go hard left is fairly terrifying."
I'd put the odds of Labour winning the general election, with Corbyn in charge, about the same as London being hit by an asteroid.
Tulips??
Maybe a good time to buy some Tulips boys
Lti you always say what I'm thinking. The fact is BJ and the tories are actually pretty centre left wing if you look at their record. For Corbyn to want to go hard left is fairly terrifying.
I’d say that your assessment is spot on LTI. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks so........

''It’s almost as if you make it up as you go along ''
He does.
Pinch of salt statements.
When has he last said ' I have just bought' or 'I have just sold'
The evidence would suggest that he has not been trading in and out, and that in fact he has just been holding if he has shares at all.
Does that mean you’re a Lloyds shareholder again Cuckoo ?
One day you are, the next you’re not. It’s almost as if you make it up as you go along based upon which way the share price is moving.
The way you continually slate Lloyds, I’m surprised you are a shareholder again to be honest. Maybe it’s just that this is a larger BB for you to air your Communist nonsense.
Lloyd's is big enough, don't think it would be allowed either. Lloyds will grow it customer base by having the best interactive services which it is heavily investing in combined with the best products
Not sure HSBC would be a takeover target anywhere, it's the 6th largest bank in the world so not many suitors and besides how many would have the cash.
HSBC & Barclays will not move to New York, reason being they would be immediate takeover targets and would be gone within 2 years.
Why doesn`t Lloyds move a takeover would be so sweet for us.
Yep maybe they would move their tax domicile.. Also though I guess this is viewed as a "safe" regulatory framework which is accommodation.. That could all change if Comrade Corbyn wins an election though... CLearly some of it will also be historical...
Apple could prob pay less tax in Singapore but they wont move..
It's a fact that lower corporation tax leads to higher bank lending for business as it helps to drive and encourage entrepreneurs and expansion of existing businesses. It's also a fact that there is a chasm between the Tories and Labour over this issue but presumably this will be deleted because it's political.
Greg that is a great point and why the currency and metal markets won't move. But can't see why banks keep their tax status there. I don't think they will if this levy stays.
Time zone... Trade all markets in London at best possible hours, nowhere else is that really possible...
Why would hsbc stay located in the London. I don't think they will. Makes more sense to head quarter in New York now. Same with Barclays.
