I think for copper specifically confirmation of successful ramp us is needed in the next update. PGMs doing well today though also.
Reported that copper price was scheduled to hit an all time high. Will JLP see a benefit in its SP ? The market seems to think adversely of JLP is it just the lack of feedback from the BOD that is holding the SP back ?
It’s funny that despite being continually corrected BushyTailed keeps on spouting the same misleading and inaccurate nonsense. I guess he’s running out of new angles to attack the company after all this time.
New investors can ignore anything he posts, most LTH’s already have him filtered!
According to my spreadsheet, we have access to 7M tonnes tailings @ 0.8% Cu (plus 3rd party supply) and 4M tonnes RoM @ >2.0% Cu. I trawled through all of the RNS’s a while back to get a picture of where we were at.
However we have already established that the grade is not all that critical as the material is pre-concentrated at the tailings dams to 2.0-2.5% Cu before transport to the concentrator.
We know the average grades at Letchwe and Elephant. The ROM material at Roan is 2% Cu. I agree we have not been given a figure for the tailings at Roan. https://www.nsenergybusiness.com/news/jubilee-copper-tailings-zambia/
This is the problem, aside from the current cash position. Leon needs to do more to demonstrate the value of all these so called waste dumps he's been buying for roan. There is zero evidence to date to back up his 0.50% grade, with a fine process multiple of four.
You are killing this company Leon with all your capex and no returns
Charles... If 1200 tonnes per annum is going straight to Sable from aggregated local business then what exactly has Roan been doing, as that's equal to circa 50% of output thus far?
Happydays43 my understanding is that when third party small operations supply ROM ore to JLP, the ore is weighed and sampled. Then the operative receives the going rate for copper present , with price determined by the days' LME copper price. About 150 tons copper per month is recovered by Sable from small local operations.
I assume the same approach will be utilised for ROM ore supplied to Roan in the future.
The Grill House in Sandton was superb last time I was there. Get the double fillet

Hi Northen,
I fully understand shopping trips although I hate them since my wife's illness are important to the ladies.
Have a great time in South Africa and bring a torch.
By the way you will find bargains due to our miserable rand
Jack,
I would love to but we are only down for four days and I wouldn't want to risk the wrath of Mrs N who is busy arranging a safari and shopping trips!
I certainly appreciate the generous offer however!

Hi Northen
I stay in Pretoria and would love to pay a visit to Inyoni with you .Pretoria is sort of on the way to Brits where Inyoni is located and I do know some good restaurants in Pretoria. Also I can try to arrange a trip to Leon's offices in Pretoria through some contacts I have. Pretoria is not far from Joburg and quite near Brits
If you are interested let me know.
Planning a quick trip to Joberg at the end of the month. Not sure Mrs Northern is up for a trip to Inyoni despite her being a shareholder... but she does like a nice meal out if anyone has any local knowledge?

The JLP website has been updated on the movements of the shares held by the top 9 shareholdings with over 3% of the shares as at 11/4. Looks like the PI's who hold with ii and Hargreaves Lansdown have been adding again. Likewise, Canaccord purchased a further c7.4M share during Mar/April, having sold c5.9M in Feb/Mar, sold them at a higher price and then bought them back at a lower price. Slaters have not sold any shares.
not* sure
I'm sure if Leon addressed this but the 130 tons ROM from third party, are we charging a tolling fee or are we buying the material outright??
Thanks.
Who's up to date with the mem and arts.... What's the maximum equity they can issue this year without shareholder approval?
Hi Dorfan,
Yes my concerns are 100% genuine. I'm a big holder in JLP. And yes I do get frustrated sometimes and go overboard but I genuinely want JLP to succeed. It feels they almost across the finishing line. I wish them all the luck in the world.
Hi happydays
it is not often I will disagree with Gotreal who is passionate about Jubilee but here I do agree with all sentiments you express. I mainly agree that we need better and faster communications from the company.
I believe you are being realistic in your concerns.
.....and yet according to latest date no major shareholding funds selling and several adding significantly. I wonder who knows better? Hmmm.
Investors want to see more ounces and more tons been produced.
Its obvious JLP need to prove that Roan is capable of producing at nameplate consistently. This is were we are at the moment.
It's been about 10 days since 85 percent. We should be at 100% nameplate by now and im hopeful for an update so we can start ticking up. The rest of the producers are enjoying a nice rally on the back of higher metals.
The sp in part reflects the management that's why it's down....as usual
Anybody who claims to be invested and yet says openly he doesn't believe a word the CEO says is ...what shall we call him?
That makes zero sense... Hasn't the share price run away from those holding already?
It could double overnight from here and new entrants would still be better off than most of the "buy ramps over the last 12 months.
Not enough people buying yet ICB888, the simple truth. When they do want to buy in they might find the sp rushing away from them.
