I see Octopus have reduced their holding to below 3%. I am not sure why they are selling but I note that they have not sold their entire holding.
On a more serious note nothing has been announced on next payment for
Appledore if as announced cash and shares have been released an rns should have been issued regarding extra shares.
Did notice a couple of trades a couple of weeks back which could suggest infa bought them on the open market (which would be good) to satisfy the transaction however it could be they have failed to satisfy the terms of the transaction .
Thoughts gents ?
Stokey a 4th ship is due early Oct could be the Russian ship but looks like the last shipment

Sarens are doing a fantastic job offloading our 3rd vessel with a 4th to arrive in early October.

BlairPeach ref you 16.09 not completely sure I do not recall this ship arriving at the port over recent months. It is therefore possible that it is not connected with the fabrication plant. I am not sure what other businesses in the area would need and can afford to use a cargo ship out of Russia.
...in the H&W pages.
stokey12,
What do you think a Russian bulk tanker of that class would be bringing to Methil, out of interest?
As an aside, I sold spare parts into that vessel and her sisters in the recent past.
As a further aside, I note that the Infrastrata plc website makes no mention of either Methil or Arnish...
Oldtramp, indeed it is ,what are their options ,wind,solar,gas/hydrogen ,water hydro, nuclear
bunsenurner123 ref 08.12 post if you have to ask that question you clearly are unaware of the various business operations that INFA are engaged in.
Maybe INFA could bit to build a power station on some of the un-used land around the Belfast yard!
Looks like the need for gas storage is becoming serious

Interesting article about gas price rises in NI:

What’s this got to do with anything?
A Russian visitor is on route to Methil, the general cargo ship Rusich-11, it is due on the 30 September. If you want further information see this link. https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/RUSICH-11-IMO-9368259-MMSI-273354040
Oldtramp, absolutely yes and the Eu haven't had a “shovel ready” proposal on their table for months and months awaiting a decision after a very lengthy consultation process. Either way you look at it reflects incompetence and negligence. I believe they will wake up and that is why I remain invested.
Loose goose remember that is the whole of Ireland not Just N.I so the EU Are also responsible.
Very interesting oldtramp. The level of incompetence and shortsightedness of the decision makers continues to amaze me. Borderline criminal through negligence.
Spot the odd one out on the chart

I see from the Belfast Harbour website that less than two weeks after Whitdawn has berthed Coralwater is due in on the 13 September for the day. I wonder why all these oil and chemical products are needed anyone want to hazard a guess.
I have just got back from having a look at the Azura or what I could see from the gate as you are not allowed further than that. On the way back as I was passing Samson or Goliath not sure which but it was the first I came to I distinctly heard the sounds of work going on in a building by it. Not sure what was going on but no ships are showing as being berthed in either BBD or BDD.
Also while at SRQ to the right and down a bit I saw what looked like earth extraction work going on these may be site improvement works. Does anyone have any idea what they could be. I will try and upload the photos I took on Friday.
Whatever the hold up is right now I'm past caring tbh so I completely sold out on the last spike on Fri if you can even call it that. Lots on twitter were pumping this just for a trade quite clearly.
I'm not "blaming" anyone, tbh, Stokey. Just re-posting an artical in a similar vein to the OP. :)
Looking forward to another 3 day week. Recall it being great fun as a teanager back in the seventies. Parents probably wouldn't agree though, trying to work through it. Might be a good time to invest in candles. lol
As regards the ML, nobody has the cojones to be the one to say, yea or nay. They are just pass the parcel. Maybe a dire shortage with power outages might instill a bit of urgency, hey?
Boris Johnson may well be a bull****ting prat but he will have pressure applied by those that know the seriousness of our gas supply.I'm fairly confident that nigerias president Buhari will likely have discussed his abundance of gas just down the coast in West Africa.I still think the Marine licence has been used as a stalling tool until everything is in place.Let's see how this unfolds but looking at the change in infa trading something is starting to play out.
Si_Derman ref 19.16post In this instance I think you are blaming the wrong person. The issue is with the Northern Ireland Executive who seem to be treating the application for a marine license like a fine malt that has to be laid and allowed to mature.
Similar post on ADVFN by lindowcross from Ambrose Evans-Pritchard also at Daily Telegraph.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2021/09/05/energy-rationing-feared-russias-gas-squeeze-exposes-uks-perilously/
Makes bleak reading on just how bad the backup storage issue is in this country.
“The UK is more vulnerable to a gas supply crisis than other Western European countries. It has way too little storage and it is buying more Russian gas than it realises through the Netherlands,” said Marco Alverà, chief executive of the Italian pipeline and infrastructure group SNAM.
Not going to post the whole article as lindowcross has but it's over "there" if you want to read it.
Or subscribe to the Telegraph. :)
Glad I'm pretty much "off-grid" as regards mains gas and such.
Come on JW, I'm gonna need a bigger chainsaw. lol
