The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Sums up my thoughts exactly, Jayamah. Slightly less confident after that, particularly as some of the evidence presented yesterday sounded like it was incorrect, but overall my gut feeling is the ML won’t be overturned. The bird surveys seemed like a thorn in the side again today, although I’m pretty sure yesterday it was said that the likely affected feeding area was so small that placing such significance on this survey was unreasonable.
This is from an FAQ page about the Pentalina on the Pentland Ferries website:
How reliable is the Pentalina?
The vessel has undergone a technical overhaul, including a full service of all four engines and generators.
Doesn’t say when this technical overhaul was, however.
I wouldn’t get to excited. The agreement is with Denholm Industrial Services, who provide access solutions, containment and encapsulation, surface preparation, application of protective coatings, marine lagging and industrial cleaning. They act as a subcontractor to main contractors, so wouldn’t read too much into this I’m afraid.
Hi guys. Former shareholder here. Off for a short break in Appledore next week, staying around half-a-mile from the shipyard so thought I'd pop by and take a look at how things were going. About as well as when I sold out it seems! May do a bit of scouting while I'm there, perhaps try and get a view of things from across the river. I'll let you know what I see if anyone is interested?
Bubble, you’re feeling exactly the same as I did at the last placing. I thought I’d sell as soon as I could get my money back (c.33p) as I’d lost all trust. Unfortunately, it never quite made it back. I’m not riding this rollercoaster again; JW’s behaviour genuinely depresses me.
I’ve been reading here for a long time and I feel for everyone stuck. Your research and enthusiasm has been incredible over the years; it’s such a shame that you’ve all been treated with utter contempt by the Sheriff of Nottingham and his cronies.
I hope no-one is going to take a life changing hit over this and wish you all better luck (and prosperity) in future.
Interesting article about gas price rises in NI:

Maybe I'm being cynical, but could one of the reasons behind the recent plummet in share price be due the upcoming instalment? The lower the share price, the more shares the vendors pick up. They could then wait for the share price to rise (wishful thinking?) and sell for a handsome profit. Is something going on behind the scenes or am I oversimplifying things?
Wouldn't surprise me if imminent news is inbound. Hardly been the tightest run ship in the past. Fingers crossed.
Prolong launched less than a month ago so I wouldn't expect a sales update yet. Even if it was performing strongly you'd want to wait a bit longer to see if sales dropped off after the initial enthusiasm. Equally, if sales were slow, you'd want more time to see if they pick up as word spreads. An update on the other brands would be nice, but in a recent interview (Proactive Investor - Jan 18) I'm sure HC said new launches would be timed to correspond with performance i.e. if targets weren't being met then there would be more launches. That was my take anyway.
Maybe im being cynical here, but could HC be deliberately withholding news to keep the SP down until the point in time that he can afford to buy some of his shares back? The timing of the Prolong launch was certainly questionable given his quick sale after. Could work both ways, especially given recent product launches from ST and Roots that have gone unmentioned.
