Another marketing stunt... a collaboration with Primark. I kid you not. I'm still giggling...
Yes moniman that would certainly be a sausage roll-royce. It comes with a built in electric oven to heat up your pastries..
Also since Putin started the troop build up the price of oil and gas has surged. He must be making $ billions. Every time the price of oil and gas goes down Putin just creates a new crisis. I think we should convert all vehicles to run on sausage rolls.
Putin needs money, rolls in tanks, world markets drop, Putin buys cheap stocks, agrees a deal and rolls back tanks, stocks rise, Putin and diplomats make money. They who make the rules make the money...
"If you want to join NATO, eat leak and potato."
NATO to send Anti- Tank sausage rolls to Ukraine
Price of goods have gone up and new management plus markets are generally down thanks to rasputin
Apparently President Putin has decided to invade a well known high street bakery chain as well as the Ukraine, 100,000 Russian troops are on standby outside a number of bakeries threatening supplies of sausage rolls.
surely this is way oversold, fundamentals haven't changed or am I missing anything?
Excellent publicity for the Company and how they treat their Staff
Greggs worker who filmed video of 'mountains' of food going to waste every day at the bakery chain was sacked when it became a massive TikTok hit

"To shift sausage rolls is the company's goals ."
Started adding again at these prices, in the long term account. £33 was a bit toppy.
I’m sure the outgoing guy has left a team who know how to sell a sausage roll.
Sorry @norrab1. Typo. Good Luck with your investments.
I take your point @narrab1. Alternative view is that people doing overtime or second job to meet the inflationary demand will grab convenience food as they don't have the time or energy to make their own. Watch Dominos and Just Eat too. Maybe..
Not really Tinker,
During inflationary times people will opt for a 50p homemade sandwich at lunchtime rather than a £2 pie!
Mind the gap, it aint over yet.....
Still way overvalued!
"Less than twenty seven, makes Greggs a buyer's heaven"
Good luck with all your investments
You'll be alright with your Greggs at that price ;0)
Geordie you can't complain this has more than doubled, I sold at 16.40 and deeply regretted it, missed out on Doubling my investment, anybody holding at 33 plus should of cashed in. I for one will buy again if the drop continues.
I like your post. I too Fly with Jet 2 (or EasyJet), Bank with Lloyds, go to Cineworld, buy my magazines at WH Smith etc etc. Oh - and get my pasties at Greggs!
Can't believe these are down 20% in just a few sessions. Read a broker note two weeks ago with 3600 price target.
There used to be a pub on every corner. Now there is a Greggs!
I picked a few up at 2740
I’ll now be eating at Greggs, drinking at spoons, wearing ASOS & Boo hoo, flying with jet 2, and shopping at AO
I got shares in them all, lol
Both in the short or long term
After today's drop, I'd certainly be buying more if I wasn't already neck deep.
I can only see it going back up and soon at that.
Everything's already been put inplace by the outgoing chairman, the business is solid and now trading at an excellent entry level.
this falls seems 'overcooked'.. to keep it in baking terms
I'm tempted, I've made a little on ASOS (well plan to sell a few tomo )so may take a punt here
This is one of the few high street stars with a bright future. Will be interesting to see what Roisin does to grow the business.
You did at that Sir
Alot of the drop is down to the main man finishing and the uncertainty it creates,
Can only hope the lady in waiting hits the ground running and continues to build on the great work already done.
