Air fares in Europe priced 15% above inflation.
https://travelweekly.co.uk/news/air/air-fares-in-europe-priced-15-above-inflation-says-report
Currently in this quarter easyJet will be making £2.5-3m a day profit. In Q4 £8m a day profit. The results that apparently destroyed the share price were very positive especially from the holiday business and the volume of advanced bookings. Summer season 70% booked in May is very strong.
The CEO transition is a sensible move. It shows maturity and concludes a job well done.
It's important to separate the business performance from the share price. They are very out of sync.
The share price under £6 is nonsense. At £5.50 it was nonsense and £5.50 to £4.50 was just more nonsense.
The business is strong, the share performance is weak.
If you believe that the UK isn't broken then clearly something else is happening.
I don't go Short individual stocks.
I can't remember the last time I clicked a Sell
on a share board on LSE.
I very rarely click Buy either.
Ok..anyway my answer is ...higher than 5-5.50 by july. All IMO of course. Anyone can buy, sell short. I have my strategy.
I'm not short and I've never said Sell.
After buying more at 512p prior to earnings, earnings were "ok" only issue was the CEO stepping down which was unexpected in my opinion, the stock has seen a constant decline since. The balance sheet is in good shape.
I'm done with this dog of a share, im not buying anymore shares, Easyjet can just rot in my portfolio, I thought Easyjet were an established company with decent free cashflow as well
If it's a question, you must be thinking about it. try it. u never know. good luck. I wouldn't but i am buying more if it does, of course. GL.
It's a question, not a statement.
Fatpro, try and short it. Go ahead!!!
Stress not! Only Monkeys pick bottoms :)
Not a possibility. Higher than 5, yes.
?
Stupmy, we pulled the trigger early today. Oh well..more dry powder in case it falls further.
EZJ price gone negative now . Not good...Surely selling is almost done..It's a bargain price IMO. DYOR.
Fatprofits go to ryan board. Filterd
Airbus fleet
Bid possibility
Rapid potential growth in Easy Jet holidays' profitability
On the flip side you have Ryanair which is becoming ever stronger.
Disappointed to see nada.
From zoom out Elliot Wave perspective the price looks way too cheap. When the nonsense from rya PR is over anyone who’s buying now will be laughing by mid June imho, maybe sooner - and clearly from @themong nobody gives a damn about schools fining them for taking kids out of school :)
Ticket prices on budget flights are not what they used to be either TM, for the moment you'd have to imagine the EZJ is doing well.
I work part time at Stansted Airport. This morning I started at 4am. Believe me when I say it was carnage here this morning. Cost of living crisis, what cost of living crisis ?
Numbers of people going on holiday from here is huge.
I appreciate Stansted isn't an easyJet hub but surely this must be being replicated elsewhere
Looking good for Summer numbers I feel
But not down as much as expected, indicating potential further delays in interest rate cuts (hence UK markets down across the board today).
Yes, same ..added more at £4.67..we are due a big bounce. i am looking at £5 for my exit level..guess by july-august we should be above that. DYOR.
So Qube research will close their short pretty much exactly the same time BOA close their long position.
Funny that.....
Sorry if bit off topic. Am astonished. I guess it shows certain age demographics have pensions and good incomes…whilst their children and grandchildren are completely screwed with loss of Top Shop, Gap etc.
