lol just speaking on my friends behalf who did a similar thing I’ve been told it’s 100 percent better than letting said son buy v bucks with the money!
Hypothetical question here, I don't know anyone who did this but, if say a dad took £2,000 out of his kids bank account without telling them, at for arguments sake the end of March and bought in their name's 6,000 Enet shares at 30p - would he be classes as a good dad or bad dad? Just asking for a friend!!!
Selling into news best way to keep an orderly market
More 5G sell to keep below 3% ?
Second day in a row someone sold 72k shares .. weird
Can sell a load at 31.35p, that's the Tarana deal fully priced in then! Obs being sarcastic!
L2 now 2:1, just Peels left on 32p
Spoke to my bookie .. it's well bid today and looks like someone has just nudged it higher
Not sure what I have done to deserve great kindness from IG and the MMs who insist I either pay full price or add a premium on the offer for buying just a little above NMS! Never mind - makes next to no difference in the long run...
Agreed. It was worth +25% in a poor market
So let’s just get this right:
Yesterday ENET announced a deal with Tarana, a private co heavily backed by industry heavy weights and worth $1bn.
This deal is commercial from now, with ‘initial orders’ worth $400k received, delivery in Q3.
We’ve worked with Tarana for over 4 years to develop ‘unique silicon tuned software’ and the ENET solution was a ‘superior choice’
Commercially DL said ‘ We are looking forward to supporting Tarana in their rapid commercial ramp."
And the markets reaction? Over the two days since the news release I think we’ve nudged up the odd Penny overall, or around £500k in market cap. Not a million miles off what the value of the initial orders are!
It’s striking me as a bit crackers tbh.
I’m looking to add.
GLA
You are a year ahead of me bid! Long service indeed and if not a brass carriage clock, I think a t-shirt as a minimum is due.
I'm very buoyed by the surprise Tarana news, the market for their product with Ethernity inside is clearly vast.
More of the same please from their many other collaborations and the market will eventually start to work it out.
Pound notes still available for pennies for those with a medium to long term view imo. Patience needed.
Alca.
For me the Tarana news isn't far off a deus ex machina event as I was getting a bit concerned at the lack of news. It's "non 5g" (even though it's 3x faster than 5g..?) and looks to be very scalable and worth a significant amount to Ethernity over the next few years. It took me by surprise how long Ethernity have been working with them for and if this is a taster of things to come then we may see more of these long term collaborations coming to fruition this year. Clearly it validates much of what they have been saying that their tech is in demand and now being deployed. I'll have ben invested in Ethernity for 4 years this year .. reckon they'll send me a t-shirt?
just a quick ps on reading through the rns for Tarana again.
ENET have probably given as much detail as they are allowed to. The RNS is well written. I’m surprised we didn’t see support in the form of interviews for this release, perhaps ENET have their reasons.
I stand by the other points in my post, but just thought I might have been being a bit hard on them wrt the RNS.
And let’s not lose sight of the fact that it’s a fantastic achievement to be a vital part of Tarana’s offering, it’s a massive well done to everyone at ENET, credit where it’s due.
It’s good to get the newsletter from ENET, called ‘insights newsletter’. It was an easy read and Brian writes well. Not an easy thing to do when you are offering up no insights or no news, full marks for giving it a bash Brian!
Ok, it’s not BKs place to disseminate news. I’m not sure why we haven’t had an update on 2020 final scores yet or how we are doing in 2021. I just hope this is all part of some master plan, fingers crossed! We need that sp up for those warrants, c’mon boys, give it a push!
Thanks to the posts and comments here and elsewhere then I think most of us feel the Tarana deal could be a great deal for ENET and give a solid underpinning from the revenues that should flow from the deal, assuming we’ve got it right. And all the evidence points to Tarana meaning business and being backed accordingly.
Now are ENET usually backwards about coming forwards?
I understand their can be commercial sensitivities and conditions that could mean ENET are unable to spell out the opportunity better, or maybe it’s as simple as they’ve missed a trick? Often if you can’t spell it out in a rns then an interview helps to flesh things out, plus also gives the opportunity, however brief, to touch on things in general.
So what’s up with these guys? Why no updates for 2020 or Q1 2021 or spelling out the opportunity with Tarana?
Unless they start banging that gong long and loud they will, at this rate, be taken out for a pittance because there’s a complete disconnect between the intrinsic value here and the sp.
Or is that the plan? I note dallo has suggested something along not too dissimilar lines re poss t/o in the future.
It’s a concern.
lol wouldn’t blame you if you had I do spout it out most of the time !
Oh ya, you beat me to it by 29 minutes, either didn't see your message or the message temporarily disappeared (you are not on filter). Already answered then, carry on as normal!!!
Have you got me on filter Kit!?
Quick question TL, is the patent 10966112 announced 30th March regarding inclement weather conditions etc anything to do with the Tarana contract? Im guessing not.
This could then possibly be our next news flow as it mentioned:-"The applications relating to this patent are now the subject of business discussions with prospective customers."
I think that it's given that it will or Tarana has it very wrong. We have seen a start but the market is huge
Thanks
I do agree with what you say. Tuesday's announcement is pretty significant as the DW was secured in 2017 and now is generating orders. The moment is now. 18months from now is the limit they have to execute IMHO. We need more news like Tuesday's one and the market will react. Licensing deals should generate orders now or very soon... Otherwise...
Trading spot on. Then in 5 years Ethernity will be on the 6G roller-coaster.
Yes they are both wireless transmissions not point to point and therefore out of line of sight. However Ethernity and Tarana have been working together on this as a joint investment product since 2017.
It is firmly tied to Ethernity and why I my opinion Tarana created the finance package to protect their investment.
The patent certainly contains this and why it was just announced after being granted August 2020.
Longy - I understand your frustrations, but you must understand that even in the next 6-12months, 5G won't be fully rolled out across globe (South Korea, China and maybe India might have made a good go at it). Really we are looking at the next 3-5 years for enet to fully realise their potential, and their kit to be utilised into the 5g solutions in Europe and the US.
