Gullible;
'I remain with the view that the ESIA, won’t appear until EML, exhaust all possible works.'
Would make sense if the EML had not said that ESIA was 'imminent', and had not said ESIA would be awarded before end '21, and had not said 'all necessary regulations had been completed, and interested parties had made no objections', or words to that effect.
Keep guessing. Your last guess was ESiA would not be awarded in August, but September. So you are of the opinion that none of the above 'work' can be completed in August. How long have you been a Board member?
And your tale about the King and visiting a gas well. So you believe the King may think there's no Potash at the site, although there's oodles nearby at OCP, and all the test drillings show Potash. Very interesting thought process Gullible. You are wasted on this board.
I think there's some merit to this. While the co will have submitted its documents and responded to Q&A etc, that doesn't mean EML itself might be proposing changes following engineering work eg using water from the nearby municipal water treatment plant. In the grand scheme, if EML hits its 2022 target then its just one part of the jigsaw. I can wait!
I remain with the view that the ESIA, won’t appear until EML, exhaust all possible works. None of the future works are available until the present set of tasks be complete.
I always hark back to that American company found gas and installed a stage in a Moroccan desert the King arrived and to a great fanfare was declared major gas find only in the end did the Gov obtain was not technical ability back then to unplug the gas or some excuse?
Once bitten, twice shy. Patience.
Glad you're keeping up DShox.
Well, judging by the postings here - whether green boxed or not - there feels a good tick up in interest. Always hard to wait as a PI outsider, but confident we'll get there.
Good post @beyondthesea I also have to keep reminding myself that the investment group put up quite a large amount of capital so they must be confident of permit approval & they will be much closer than any of us to what is going on.
I am not so sure that's the reason for the hold up. If they wanted OCP to be involved the time to do this would have been at the awarding of the mining licence. ESIA's are big deals these days & getting hold of them as we have seen can be difficult.
I have not had direct talks with the bod but from what I see & read is that the process of awarding the licence involves the ministry coming back to Emmerson on differing issues, water was highlighted last year & since then the other aspects appear to be the traffic & air pollution survey & tailings waste disposal. Back in April Hajar was brought in specifically to deal with permits & approvals, so hopefully most of what needed to be resubmitted has been.
I have only held Emmerson since March & I understand the frustration of all holders but mainly the long term guys.
What Emmerson could do is built excitement & interest in the project, (which may give a push to the government to get on with things) could be things like a jobs fair in the local area demonstrating the types of jobs that will be available, invite local officials to the site & explain to them the benefits to the local community. With a high unemployment rate I am sure the interest for jobs is there.
I tend to agree. Feels like there’s something going on behind the scenes that they need to finalise before announcing or that there’s hurdles to clear but they can’t talk about them for fear of upsetting government - the length of the delay doesn’t exactly make Morocco look good does it.
Reading between the lines of recent RNSs (ignoring tweets) it would appear to me that the recent reference to the need to ensure that all all stakeholders benefit in the future success of the EML project, is that the ESIA won't be awarded until a wider deal, whatever it might be, is done and dusted. As already intimated by other posters, I supect that OCP will be invoved. The deafening silence by the EML Board suggests that they are trying to progress this and hopefully will reach a conclusion soon. Meanwhile, agreed - the pointless non-news tweets are irritating and do nothing to enhance investor relations.
What the hell is going on Emmerson...the share price is plummeting and you're removing your own tweets because you don't like the comments. Imminent does not materialise, delays already. Does not instil confidence does it.
I don't know what they expect now really. It's just the same old repetitive tweets, It shows people are losing patience. If they think those tweets are going to get serious investors on board then they need to rethink . Also, its not very professional [doing things right and doing them in the right way ] deleting their tweet because they don't like the replies to it.
Yep, I tweeted to it. no positive comments on there.
Cannot find the tweet anymore that was put out today ?
