Was it thus any different. Damn. After the rise in sp following the RNS, I waited for the 'inevitable ' fall back after profit taking, and the ruddy thing kept flying. Will now, I think, slowly dribble back with no news in the coming weeks. Only 11 weeks to YE. Some of the recent newbies to the Co will be unaware of the Cos. 'poor' ( I'm too kind sometimes) track record on hitting target dates. This is 'the last chance Saloon' for the CEO.
Hopefully fourth quarter, according to the company's twitter/X handle. (The results released in the third quarter said "this quarter" but that was later corrected). Hopefully an Xmas present!
How soon will we get a decision?
Where will this go this week ?
Good week last week ?
There is also the ADVFN board, and a telegram chat group. That makes 3 including this one. Any others?
Hamz74: A few weeks ago I have already asked here if there was another EML's 'chat room.
I got no answers.
I think he/she is thinking its gone quiet because the SP has gone down making him think its a P&D. It's just a normal part of churn when there's been a high rise.
People will sell and buy back when/if it drops.
If it doesn't and license news comes then they miss out
I kind of thought this chat was that forum? Are you thinking of another chat room?
Hamz74 >> The Forum is the "Share Discussion for Emmerson"
He's landed at a private company, HPX Mines Limited. See https://www.linkedin.com/in/jim-wynn-0050783b/
Four senior hires including Wynn were made on the same day. https://smfg.com/hpx-announces-appointments-to-leadership-team/
This is linked to US/Canadian mining billionaire, Robert Friedland, founder of publicly listed Ivanhoe Mining, which has a 27 billion market cap on the Toronto exchange.
Looks like their Guinea Nimba iron ore mine is gearing up for production next year. https://hpxploration.com/ You can get email updates.
Ivanhoe Liberia is building some rail infrastructure.
This looks like a larger project than Khemmiset potash mine, and is already part of a much larger organisation.
HPX has other projects as well like copper/gold in Western USA, and something to do with vanadium batteries...
Forgive my ignorance, what do you mean by Forum participants? Which Forum?
Where are our Forum participants ?
Why have they disappeared ?
Despite my ire with Graham. I do understand it's largely out of his hands and understandably he's unable to update the market with ongoing talks. I did take advantage at the bottom using funds I'd made from Portage Biotechs recent rise. I'm hoping I've made a wise decision in reinvesting. I could sell today and make a tidy profit as we head into the holiday period but I'd rather stick it out and make some serious headway.
Ideas - I nearly choked on my coffee reading your Swazzers comment :0D)
…and before the Jan 23 RNS, GC stated the award of the ESIA was ‘imminent’. When was that, 2021…?
This is true. And you can only see the bottom in hindsight. It could have dipped further!
I think we’ve missed the boat on this choice. Only Swazer’s charts could have foreseen it!
Ideas whilst obviously very welcome at the moment this is just speculators having a punt - that Graham finally delivers.
Like all long term holders I can only hope that he does. Like you say he has been very confident many times before, the January 2023 quarterly RNS if I remember correctly predicted that 2023 would be transformational for Emmerson and that the EISA he was very confident would be coming that quarter. As we know it didn't arrive, so sadly much as I would love it to now be very likely to arrive this quarter, until it does there is concern it won't. I suspect that's why myself and other long term holders did not top up recently at 1.1p. Like yourself I suspect we thought about it but I am still heavily underwater. I can't see speculators alone getting this past my average of 4.54p. There needs to be that transformative RNS that we have the ESIA. Fingers crossed.
What a great company this will be to be a long term holder in if we can get the permit over the line. Still holding.
Golden cross forming on the charts.
2.6p is a major resistance level for this one - if we get past this level then 3.6p is easily on the cards...
AIMHO but WTFDIK
well, i’ve just ticked squaresies. didn’t think i’d get back to my paid price until after the announcement of receiving the esia.
so, like you ideas, do i now trust graham or take my money back because he’s still a bull****ting charlatan, stealing a living?
I get tempted to buy when its awful, like a week ago, then regret when it zooms like this.
Trouble is known when you’re throwing good after bad. Is this Graham’s last kick before the fish hits the insolvency net, or a Phoenix rising?! I know which I’d prefer but Graham’s been ‘very confident’ before and I’m already loaded up.
Stick or twist.
P.s., Mat, I’m not sure that 23p is too scientific - hope it’s right though! 🤣
Matador78 - You may be correct, its certainly a possibility.
However, it seems to be obvious that EML and OCP should be exploring areas of co-operation (synergies) regardless. Also, if EML do end up selling Khemisset to OCP, the only way to extract the maximum price is to have a viable alternative.
Hopefully it will get back upto where you want it Cbax.😀
2.39 to buy £1000 at the moment.
