s.w.a.n.k.y new house
You forgot to mention the s****y new house that's been bought, from which you can probably see.... Fosterville. If no gold is ultimately found, then at least there's somewhere really nice to stay.
Always want to make people happy.
Creswick is going to have a mine on it, Adam said so. Fosterville
That’s where the mother load of gold is and anyway if it’s not there in sufficient quantities or grade It’s ok because we can get the gold from Queensland and truck it to creswick the short 1250 miles. And if it’s not there we can buy some more land and find it there. Fosterville
The drill results will be any day now they’ve been drilling day and night for months. Kirkland Lake Gold
Fosterville
Watched interview where Craigy baby said news flow of results through the rest of the year, OK that was in June but they’ve got to get internet sorted at the bungalow. Kirkland Lake Gold
It’s all going to be awesome. Fosterville
Oh and I don’t like Cherry’s anyway but I love Captain Kirk, land, lakes and gold.
ECR to the moon! Have the faith and believe. Fosterville
Echo chambers are great.

AS01 - good post. I also read it as a potential positive that in releasing the disappointing HR4 results, they reminded us that they had results from CresWick to come. However, because we've had a series of false dawns, I wasn't sure about drawing attention to it.
There is a feeling that CresWick could well be company making by itself, whatever else happens or doesn't happen at Baileston. And so far, the results at CresWick, whilst not conclusive or definitive just yet, arguably show enough promise of potential to suggest that it is very much "game on" at CresWick.
I would be happy if you would stop bloody whingeing , fund raise is history .
OK
Maybe I should have ramped the share to narrow my losses and sold out when others had bought in.
You’d be happy then right?
There is nothing I am saying that is unreasonable and you know that.
You say that the company communicates clearly, really?
How about when CB said there was had no intention to raise capital through share placing and then proceeded to do exactly the opposite?
Come on don’t be a mug.
Good luck to you.
Oh go away with your persistent calling it down Hll , you are coming at it from as many different angles as you can and are spouting rubbish now.
They have been very forthcoming throughout and keeping investors informed as everything arises , got a chip on your shoulder for some reason and getting annoying now.
I suspect the Board elected to release partial results from Cherry Tree because it was obviously not looking like a commercial proposition so no point in waiting fr the final drill completion. Creswick where at least two drill holes were completed awaiting assay results a month before Cherry Tree ,so are obviously available, is a different kettle of fish. Following the most southerly drill hole, and in advance of assay results, the Company chose to reiterate that further licence applications to the South are awaiting approval. I suspect once the Creswick results are released there will be a whole new vibe about this BB.
From the July Creswick update "A total of 6 drillholes have been completed to date on the Creswick gold project. Out of these, assays have been returned from 4 of the holes and each of these contain gold, including the scissor hole (CSD004) that was drilled in the opposing direction away from the main structural zone to test peripheral structures. In particular two of these show high-grades (CSD001 CSD003). Current drilling activity is focussing on assessing the strike extent of quartz mineralisation associated with a series of shallow historical gold workings along the Dimocks Main Shale trend between sites CSD001-CSD002 and CSD003-004. There is a strike length of 900m between these two initial drill sites that has not been drilled before. The Directors believe Mercator Gold Australia (MGA) is the first company in history to undertake such mineral exploration in this region to such a high level, and plans are underway to cover the shallow, up-dip extensions of drilled quartz reefs by soil geochemistry.
Results are pending for recently drilled CJD001, which is our most southerly drilled hole along strike to date (2km south of CSD001-CSD002). Significant quartz veining has been intersected within this hole.
Visual evidence of the limited extent of hard-rock gold workings and the mapped extent of eroded alluvial gold workings leading up to the Dimocks Main Shale area provide a practical demonstration to show the potential strike length of this gold system (see announcement 25 September 2018 - https://www.investegate.co.uk/ecr-minerals-plc--ecr-/bus/exploration-mapping-reveals-large-gold-system---creswick-australia/20180925090000Z6056/). Furthermore, as announced on 23 March 2021 (https://www.investegate.co.uk/ecr-minerals-plc/bus/annual-financial-report/20210323132000Z3358/), MGA has applied for additional licenses EL006713 and EL006907 on the southern extension of this vein system to the south."
An unresponsive Board of Directors is a red flag for me.
They work for the share holders. Why would they not want to engage if they had a compelling story and sound thesis.
The usual PR channels will not hold them to account it’s incumbent on shareholders to do so and get answers.
Alternatively could bury head in the sand, do some kind of gold rain dance and pray.
In my view what the share price is now is irrelevant. It’s the potential and what we are building up to that matters. The share is being traded by those who know how to play the game. I am not prepared to trade it at the resistant points as one I don’t have the inclination to and am happy to hold. It’s a punt to me but a punt based on what I consider to be a safe bet. You cannot discount the facts and the moves the company is making and they are building this. The only concern I have relates to the cash burn in my view cash is king and I would not want to see further dilution. I am convinced that when the good news comes a lot of ex investors will jump back in and stay in. We will probably see similar again with a rise and then another sell off until the news is too good to ignore. It will come good the only variable is how long until it does.
HIInvestor , get on the phone or email your CEO. Have you tried doing that with Ecr ? You have more chance of getting a reply from John Lennon.
Burleigh
Not at all did I suggest it's all about luck. But bloody jell it dam helps. As private investors we only know bits of what's actually going on as its impossible to know anymore and so timing and luck play a big part too though
I think I know what you're getting at Lochranzalad. But there has to be quite a LOT of judgement. If it were luck then let me have a go - I'm a lucky idiot. The reason CB has a team in place is for their experience which can be applied to interpretation of seismics, etc.
Got to say I am a little frustrated here though. Junior explorers are a (ahem) minefield, but ECR just seems to have had a run of disappointing RNSs through 2021. Looks well placed to deliver the goods but has so far just not actually done it.
A bit like Man Utd (oh good grief - why do I say these things ?). I guess it comes down to this question: has the exploration been unlucky, or is there a lack of competence at play ? I know better investors who believe strongly in ECR, and so I'm happy to assume misfortune. But much more of this, and I might start to doubt.
Yes there is an element of luck in exploration but it’s not all luck. It seems logical to look for quality Managment with proven track records which are relevant to the task in hand. Someone who has worked for a large corporate multinational producer in South America may not best fit for a junior explorer in Australia.
Very different skill set. I like people who have experience in the jurisdiction and a track record of success.
The gold mining sector is beaten up right now, its a great time to set the bar high and go for quality.
Regarding GGP Calum Baxter Geo had a clear thesis and relevant experience in the Paterson used in combination with a sound exploration methodology
There are many 1000s of juniors and the number of significant new discoveries amount to a handful per year to put some perspective to chances of success.
Take a look at GDXJ, Sprott junior explorer ETF to see the long list of companies that investment managers who live and breath this sector are invested in.
Get on the phone or email your CEO ask them what the hypothesis is and how they plan to test and prove it. What is the question they are trying to answer next?
If they don’t know or can’t answer the question, you do have to ask why that company deserves your money.
Genuinely wish you all the luck in the world, just improve your odds with some research.
Unfortunately I know your right, all we need now is a bit of good luck and head seriously north
Burleigh, there is an element of luck in all things , including investment. The Ggp faithful didnt have a clue what was in the ground at havieron. Otherwise the Ernest Giles walkway wouldnt have happened. We dont know what is in the ground at the Ecr tenements either .We dont know where the sweet spots are and how much gold there is etc .What we find will be based on luck , not judgement .
PaulFG - you're right. That's the point I am trying to make, the audience is already in place here, the drilling results are not. If this were to change - and I appreciate that on existing results that might be a big IF - the audience/interest is already there for ECR, and for it to gain momentum and go on a run. I don't believe this is true of all of these small caps. But like I said, this is all based on intuition/personal feeling...
Another view.....
“At the other end of the table, ECR Minerals [LON:ECR] slipped 14% after issuing a drilling update. There was nothing overtly negative in the report, suggesting short term investors were happy to book the gains accrued over the last week or so.”

@LW a wider following also means disappointing results are also known by a greater audience and constant disappointment means people lose interest...
Petrofac was one I was considering a while back PFC , they are all a roller coaster.
Loch - re my post this morning, I don't actually think that all companies ignite, or have the same potential to ignite, with similar drilling results. I do think ECR stands out in that respect. It is not the only one, but there are certain 'favourites' in the AIM junior space. Now, this is based more on a feeling/intuition that I have, rather than any hard evidence, but IMO ECR has built up a certain market profile and following, which means that a positive drilling campaign, would give it more of a lift off than many other and comparable juniors. For example, if ECR and RRR - both operating in the same jurisdiction - were to release similar results, I believe that ECR would "ignite" more than RRR would, specifically because of its existing profile and following within this sector of AIM. I believe/think.
There are a lot of investors in and around ECR who see this type of potential in it For example, this bb is often followed or frequented by people who aren't even invested in ECR (and many have said they have no interest in investing in it). Not every bb has this (or to the same extent) because not every junior goldie has that type of profile or reach IMO.
Let's face it, we're not hanging around here because of ECR's existing and world beating drilling results - there are much drilling results out there. No, I think the main reason is because it is viewed as a potential 'sleeping giant', amongst these small speculative AIM stocks, and a lot of people see it as one of the best placed juniors to be ignited, not just on a temporary pump and dump, but something more longer term and sustained - which can only happen with a market behind it.
I go back to the run that ECR had at the start of this year. There was a lot of energy in that move and a lot of market attention focussed on the company. It was based on people thinking this was the dawning realisation of ECR's potential and FOMO kicked in. That run was NOT based on drilling results - we weren't even drilling when it started. It was fuelled mainly by the prospect of a JV. But to me, that period illustrated what COULD happen here.
Like I said, I might just be talking complete cobblers here but its just a feeling that I carry about ECR.
All easy isn't it , THG based on their results would be a fairly safe buy , nope, drops more than 20% anyone selling ECR and buying there would be compounding losses and that is why some stick with the devil they know.
Burleigh, I agree , provided people have the extra funds to do so . Many perhaps dont and will probably learn from.being locked in . Either way we are where we are .Its an unpleasant place to be at present but I will wait .Things can turn quickly in this casino .
...He also said we were fully funded and didn't need a cash raise :-/
It was in his very last interview. He mentioned that the market didn't/doesn't 'understand' how to interpret the data RE horizontals/geo mapping/pockets of gold + antimony and in his opinion the sp should be 3* the value. Yet we drop 20%+ on cherry tree results lol.
