Since this Newsletter release, install run rate would need to be 28 Million. Actual install figure... ZERO.
Welcome to India LOL.
Ain't gonna happen, IMO, DYOR, TTT, LOL
Not much going on so I thought that I would rerun CC's last November newsletter.
Mainly for the interest of new lookers.

We all know that things do not happen overnight in India but our participation at this this level is very important.
250m meters in three years is hopeful, mainly from production point of view, that's a lot of meters but shows the intent.
INDORE is saving money and that is what it is all about. It has caught the eye of other states and countries so hopefully just a matter of time to get into the full swing of production/installation.
I consider this to be a forgone conclusion, what I now how my eye is how much CC will get involved in training, maintenance, possibly installations etc. Under CC's present financial limitations it would have to be at customers immediate cost, possibly not a problem considering the savings.
To get the 250m meters underway they would probably have to set up a training centre in each State.
All possible with the will of the clients.
Newbies DYOR.
I wonder when Coronavirus will be rolled out as a reason for the further delays to Asian contracts?
I think it's more like he bought in at 4, regretted it instantly, and tried to blame others for his expensive mistake. Another locked in Sucker LOL.
IMO, DYOR, TTNW, SNLN
Vas, Imperial came out of no where to taken on our friendly trolls. I suspect with no news, rather than wasting his time with playground arguments withe trolls he's concentrating on his footsie investments.
Always suspicious when someone appears then disappears quicker than Paul Daniels ........
I think Imperial did what he set out to do. Probably running the system, against another new purchase, on another BB as we speak.
The big question is ....what happened to Imperial.....should have replaced his keyboard by now!
Hi. CB. The dearth of information regarding most tenders for smart meters in India from last year is amazing. There were a few that were bang on what CC provide....I can't remember which but remember a bit of excitement here at the time.
Hi Tony. Any contact with the other side at this time would be appreciated. Any meaningfully inforation would be the icing on the cake. Here's to the next six weeks. It will fly bye, as always.
Any updates would be giving the competition way too much information. Everything is commercially sensitive, that is why they cannot give a single relevant detail - according to CC.
Hi Vas, With regards to India I've no doubt the bureaucratic cogs are in motion, albeit slowly, but would be good to get some sort of an update. An update on progress in the UK wouldn't go amiss either.
Hi Vas, a simple Google search would give contracts awarded, nothing is being placed. Modi and his MoP can spout all day, they clearly don't know the numbers, and this corrupt public arena is a place to leave for the next PM to ignore. I strongly suspect internal Gov. have ideas on a Civil response to Smart measures, and they don't have the bottle.
IMO, DYOR, FFSGOWI.
These guys are not convinced on the 3 years indian smart meter target. You will have to sign up to access the full report for free. I understand that india at present are only able to manufacture around 50 million meters per year...so that's an interesting problem to solve, before they even begin attempting to meet the ridiculous targets recently announced.
https://rethinkresearch.biz/articles/india-sets-itself-near-impossible-smart-meter-targets/
CC apparantly have many fingers in many pies..and the amount of tenders for smart meters in india seem to be growing ( although frustratingly never get to find out the actual results)....so never sure how many make it to a successfull conclusion...I can only conclude that there is nothing to announce ......even if confidential CC could put out a very basic RNS declaring a win in India worth around $$$$.....only six weeks to end of March.
CB, Just like the UK smart meter program then!!!!
8.3 million pa will smash it Seawolf. It won't happen, but if it did CC will become a proper company and those employees will do very well.
Like I say, it won't happen IMO.
Nobody can possibly be expecting this to end well for LT private investors (IMO).
OK then, perhaps we get 10% of these 250M over three years, 8.3M per year (less costs), hardly enough to keep the lights on at CYCON, let alone make any decent profit!
So the question is this, does this company have a future and what lies ahead for LT investors? With employees that hold shares that can only be redeemed at 10 times the current SP, they too must be pretty hacked off.
what do you all think????
CURRY 24/7 -:)
Just checking in, must say, there isn't much chat on here lol. So, 250 Million, over 3 years is Indian target blah blah. Another week slides by, 1,600,000 should have been fitted and running since Monday, and errr none.
Rather odd eh. Also, rather odd, the championed ISGF report doesn't even mention meters. Given they are central to all of it, and it's right on the cusp, they swerve it completely. Bit like that tonyj report, nowt in it but posted anyway.
There were regular comments here relating to ' final Chess pieces being moved into position ' about 5 years ago : ))
Good weekend all. DYOR, SNLN, WAGITW, LOL.
