I think AS has decided the EU will take all capacity at a higher price and HMG can sell an inferior mologic test. HMG seem to want palms greased.
In your spare time when you're not trolling the AVCT board telling us all that our money coming in doesn't justify our market cap, do you troll the TSLA board telling them that their money coming in doesn't justify their market cap?
Well done crowfoot, you`ve just acknowledged that the money isn`t coming in, and the share price/market cap is overvalued on hype!
Have no idea what some of you have been sniffing this aft, but Bottmzup is absolutely correct, fantasists 'n' dreamers. FFS
Bottmzup.....Dr google just diagnosed you, might see your pal Ndn71 in therapy.
Narcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others.
Bottmzup, why you feel the need to be a complete tool is beyond me. If you are as good as you say then why isn't it enough to make your money and be pleased with yourself without spouting nonsense? You said the market will react when the money starts rolling in except the SP has gone from 14p - 290p (in 14 months) without the money rolling in.
I thought Stratton had just been moved over as spokesperson for COP26 not for Boris.
That letter sounds more like how Boris would word a reply not a special advisor...
Following Muller12's advice earlier, I emailed Boris Johnson, and was a bit surprised to get a quick reply, which I've added below.
Dear Mr Giddings
The Prime Minister thanks you most effusively for your very informative email, and was delighted to learn of some of the fantastic efforts of our absolutely wonderful Great British Scientists. He wanted you to know that Her Majesty's Government has always been extremely supportive of this country's amazing Testing Industry, into which it has poured huge financial resources, in support, not least, of our world-beating companies like Avacta.
You will, of course, be aware that it is absolutely essential that, in the oldest democracy in the world, the envy of all other countries, it is essential that no individual commercial company should be seen to having been favoured by Her Majesty's Government. That is why we have a foolproof tender system operating within which wonderful companies like the All-British (All-Yorkshire, in fact!) companies like Avacta can apply for their slice of the testing pie.
You would not expect, of course, that any such tender should be made until all regulatory, testing (my pun!), performance and safety approvals are in place. After all, if approval were to be granted in such circumstances, Her Majesty's Government
would - rightly in some people's eyes - be called to account.
The Prime Minister wishes to assure you that Avacta's truly world-beating test, having cleared the regulatory hurdles and been submitted as part of the Tender Process, will be considered immediately as part of Great Britain's truly amazing fight against Covid19. He would like to thank you in particular for doing your part in this fight by supporting Avacta as we travel towards our ultimate goal, the Sunlit Uplands.
Yours truly
Allegra Stratton
Prime Minister's Spad (redacted - LittleG) former spokesperson, now Special Adviser.
Incredible lack of understanding on here.
Recently I`ve been attacked on here by the AVCT fan club echo chamber calling me a dreamer and much worse as clueless.
But I nailed it before today saying that the market will react when the money starts rolling in. Thats virtually all any share price is driven by, specially a company developing mass market products.
Now it seems I`ve passed the `dreamer` baton on to those all getting behind emailing everybody in the world about this golden goose company that seems to have gone under the radar.
Believe me when I say that the Medical Health Department in this country, and others, are very well aware of Avacta and what they are doing, in fact they are guaranteed to be more understanding of what AVCT are doing than the majority of its shareholders...its their Govt job to know this stuff, and to communicate with the company directly.
Emailing Beth Rigby, Robert Peston, Jeremy Hunt, Boris, Matt Hanc**k, Macron, Merkel, Biden, The head of the IMF, European Central Bank, Federal Reserve.....or NASA...isn`t going to make the slightest difference to anybody.
It smack of desperation, and a deluded lack of understanding of how the gogs turn.
Does anybody on here honestly believe that the Directors of Avacta haven`t been in close contact with Govt officials all along.....in the current environment?
Sheeeeesh!!
Dear Marcus Rashford,
I hope you don’t mind me emailing, but I’m actually trying to contact Boris Johnson, alas to no avail. Seeing as you’ve had previous success in your dealings with the PM and in light of his immediate and long lasting affinity to our incredibly popular and eminently newsworthy national game I wonder if you could help? I have information with regards to a new Covid-19 lateral flow test, more accurate and easier to perform than all the tests currently on the market. Once more it’s been developed here in the UK, in Wetherby West Yorkshire. I’m aware that this is in ‘The North’ but I have it on good authority he needn’t come and visit (I’m not ‘avin that daft scruffy wazzock come up’ere, what would that nice Angela lady think abaht us? Were the exact words heard). Distributed in large numbers in areas of high risk by a professional local Public Health team coupled with immediate financial remuneration for those required to isolate could dramatically lower the ‘R’ number. Alternatively if they were spewed out willy nilly to all and sundry so they could have a drink inside a pub it could prove to be very populist. Sorry, popular.
If you could pass the gist of this message onto him I’d be most grateful. Failing that I’ll drop Mr ‘longest lead time for a ventilator ever’ Dyson a line. He can always send him a WhatsApp next time he’s in touch.
Yours Sincerely,
BlahBlack
Exactly Cautious Optimist!!
Dear Jeremy
Do you think it important that the knickers are marked for professional use only? It seems the ones marked 'M&S' are too mundane and deffo not to be thrown (at anyone)
Best to email Jeremy Hunt at hsccom@parliament.uk, I have!
Good point Metatron, we need underpants that are certified for professional use only. Otherwise Boris isn’t going to take them seriously.
I honestly think they would have to be marked for professional use otherwise it won't work?
CE marked for 'home use' would not be recognised..
Beckster, I'm pretty sure if we were lucky, and a lobbed pair of knickers got plastered on BJ's face that would do it....
I mean I don't know I'm just guessing, but that could go viral....
I know this was a light hearted comment but I think I'm on to something here...….
Right ladies, the nation awaits. Take one for the team and do your duty......
Wyndrum,
;-) ;-) ;-)
But which would garner the most press coverage?
I also think Zoom that Al wanted to tell us more about production but forced himself back to the script so as not to "mislead us" if I remember his words correctly.
If nothing else, they will all be buying up our shares!
PJT12, Understand what you're saying, however there's a pretty big story to be had requiring minimal effort. I think they already know they've nailed the sovereign test & their priorities are now with production.
Zoom, I've been thinking about their PR people and, based upon their activities to date, feel that they are only being paid to provide the basic option IE RNS wording / layout etc. I don't think they are leaning towards the more active publicity role which would obviously cost more.
Rebecca, its funny you should say that because I was not sure whether all our under garments should be lobbed at him but I was thinking for the best way of getting his attention was most likely from the female rather than the male of the species.
(Plus I have some mental images of some posters here and I really couldn't bring myself to dwell on quite what they might wear down there....)
email Jeremy Hunt - he has been in favour of LFT's for some time and would surely push the best in class UK test.
To me, it feels that Avacta don't want the limelight at present. It wouldn't be difficult for their PR department to get some press coverage if they chose to do so.
Avacta will win out regardless, they will sell every test they make. I am being proactive just in terms of the Sovereign test as that is the test I want to use regularly. I don't want to use the Innova one manufactured in UK branded as a UK test.
Wyndrum,
Please explain why male undergarments wouldn’t work ? :-)
