Still holding 950,000 but I did see a lot of negative media on btc. Two weeks ago they loved it but a decent dip and it’s dooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmm. Oh wait a corrupt tin pot oil dependent country loves an alt coin...Jesus! This **** is so predictable.....
This is great, we need more people to do this.
Lots of investors who are Argo fans now found this gem at 5 or 6p, bought 100k shares or 500k shares and now they made a lot of money. Good for you guys, well done :)
I found ARB only in December and bought almost every week until today in order to build a decent position. (76k shares so far) . At the end of the day I put 100k pounds of my money into Argo and helped the share price to go up a bit, while to many people just sit with avg cost 6p or 9p and look at the share price without helping at all :)
If you trust in Argo, you need to put your money where your mouth is :)
So again, well done for avg up today !
Kudos Splatted. That's awesome.
& well-said Emerik.
Not everyone will be able to buy large amounts, but every buy and hodl helps - the company and ultimately the hodler(s).
If someone can only spare a few ££ to 'risk' on investing (minimal risk here), I hope they found themselves looking at Argo - if I'd been smart enough to do this when I was a student, I really hope I would've pushed some beer-money this way.
This is why I quite like seeing the small buys coming through - I hope it's younger people finding their way out of debt.
Anyhoo,
Food to cook and wine to drink.
Good week.
Regards,
CC
Defo I keep buying my av is 80p first bought in at about 31p wish ide seen it earlier lol keep buying so far I've put about 34k in now
Argo represents the Gold standard in investment stocks year to date is incredible and guess what the journey has only just begun. If your invested well done. If your not it's not to late. We can match and surpass our usa competitors Riot as we are more efficient , better hashrate so is $50.00 out of the question? No its achievable. Some look some see!
CoinCollector - Business student here. Lockdown boredom with no pubs or clubs open meant I had time to look into something else, played around with a practice account in the first lockdown but when I discovered this gem in late December and as someone that's been interested in crypto for a while I just had to activate a real money account. Managed to pour all of December and January's student loan into this as I was home for Xmas and spending nothing. I definitely do miss the pubs and clubs but thankful for this opportunity to be an Argonaut, hoping Argo can fund a wee hot hatch and a nice holiday this summer (if possible).
Definitely in envy all those that will be buying a new lambo once selling, maybe we could have an Argo meet-up once Covid allows so I can have a shot in the passenger seat?!? ;)
Good for you, but I sincerely hope that last line hasn’t been autocorrected! ;)
Haha, remember to get leather seats.
Ha! Fantastic Zebedee_ & thanks for the reply.
Business student, hey.. pretty good start.. if any student should be able to finish a course in profit, surely it should be you guys (although the odds are stacked against you these days, unfortunately).
Clearly you are wise, especially going with a practice first, and then taking the decision to get in ARB when you did.
You haven't asked for my advice, but thinking back to my twenties I will say (and of course feel free to ignore this) - your priorities can and will change over time;
By all means enjoy your profit, but it leaves as rapidly as it comes (sometimes more so), so it's a good idea to put some away somewhere, in some format..
Hot hatches are great until they're wrapped around a lamp post (not me, a friend), so choose your pleasures wisely (my friend was ok, but his investment gave him a good bite before it expired) - when we're young our perception of risk is sometimes skewed. I wonder how I survived..
As good as the interest rate looks on the loan, you've essentially used it as leverage - it might make economic sense to get it paid off in full early (ie when you take some cash out of here). It does away with interest charges, but more importantly it takes away the emotional burden too.
I'm not going to preach (more), but I do hope you make the most of the opportunity - above all I suppose make sure you're always finding it enjoyable.
And well done; this could make for an interesting story for you to tell at interview, when you graduate..
Kind regards,
CC
Had my mini business ventures during lockdown of which in my eyes "I worked for" so the profit made from them has been put away in both savings and index funds for the future and after I graduate but this money from Argo, while "worked for" via research etc is more of a lottery win for me so I want to enjoy it. Will still be working a job in my free time, it wont change my lifestyle, just a little head start. And with covid restrictions lifting hopefully this summer I want to live a little as this pandemic has shown me that you never know what may happen and when.
As for the advice, I always welcome it. I already have a wee car for running about in and will sell/part-ex to upgrade. Dont worry, I won't be going too wild on the hot hatch and don't believe in buying brand new cars because of depreciation. A nicely spec'd Polo Gti less than 3 years old + sub 30,000 miles will be more than enough for the petrolhead in me to have some fun while not spending a ridiculous amount on fuel and insurance.
In regards to my loan, I plan to use my lockdown business ventures' profits and any other moneys I manage to put away from summer jobs etc to pay off my debts and start my working life with as little debt as possible.
Argo has 100% been an enjoyable experience so far, I find the best to be watching BTC over on Binance or the crazy Americans and their GIFs on Stocktwits.
I do appreciate the kind words and wish you all the best :)
My first post on this board but I have been looking in here for a long time. I've been in Argo since IPO and been through the bad times, although it did allow me to average down! Sold out some of my shares to early in Jan and have also been averaging back up since! But seeing Splatted post made me want to comment, he was one of the knowledgeable posters throughout the last year I learned from along with the likes of Albert82, Poptimist, Threeduke and a numbers of others who rarely post on here now, it's got so busy, understandably!
Argo is some share and like others have said it's never boring. Trust in your research and with Peter Wall we are in good hands.
Good luck to all Argonauts new and old!
I've still got 2.9 million at 5.74p.
And I've sold the other 2.1 million since Christmas.
I f@@king love Peter Wall!
Albert. Well done on your investment decision. I came late in December but managed at various intervals to accumulate as at today 1 1 million and have added this week. Why? We are so undervalued today x 5 and the inevitable catch up will develop. Very few if any investments create the day in day out let alone annual margins Argo do as such anyone invested will be handsomely rewarded. Glh
Zebedee hi
Sounds like you have your head screwed on. I did a business degree as well- there were times I wasn't sure the Phillips curve was ever going to be of use but the theory there it is actually super relevant today given inflation discussions.
My only piece of advice...always make time for a shot in a fast car (when not driving). Oh and enjoy being young - it flies by and however much money you have, you can never buy time.

Albert how greedy of you! haha
Very well done indeed & all the other big winners here
@Albert82
A few here don't believe that there are any still here from almost the start but I have found another in you also
Not in the same league as yourself low but can't complain at all
In my view for what it's worth for all that has happened this week things have not turned out to shabby at all
Next week the RNS for February will be out and the results won't disappoint I would be fairly sure
Enjoy reading your posts Tymers. Did you accidentally add an extra 1 before the million or is it actually 11m?
Well done either way.
Just to add, I didn't sleep much for about 6 months up to Christmas.
I'm really chuffed that quite a lot of us have done so well here based on genuine conviction that we were in at the start of such an amazing enterprise.
The reason we are still here is that we've only just got past the start.....
1.1 perhaps. Good amount!
The Foocate. Its 1.1 Million . I set sp targets based on additional machines, btc, upgrade of indices and so far it's going to plan in fact ahead. Next phase is qtr 2 where I expect our rates will match any blockchain outside of China. I expect btc to sit comfortably at 75k and last but not least expect Argo to dial list lse and Nasdaq. With this I forecast our mcap to be around 7.5 to 10 billion. Huge gains for all involved glh
Just me or did LSE fragment a few posts earlier? I had to do something else as it was confusing me!
Been a long week (still enjoyable though).
Great catching up on this conversation, and with so many early holders still hodling - amazing.
@Zebedee_ ; yeah, I think you're going to do alright with that attitude/approach. Impressive.
@Tymers ; nice to see you posting here. Always enjoyed reading your insights on other boards.
Looking forward to Monday already, but also planning to make the most of the weekend. Will probably only check the cryptomarkets / shuffle every.. couple of hours or so.. Looks like another interesting one brewing.. (actually, that's just every weekend now!).
Regards,
CC
Why would they lie?
Coincollector. Appreciated and acknowledge a number of experienced investors within Argo with this clearly demonstrates a clear understanding by retail investors. Peter Wall is very impressive as is other board members. The company is very ambitious and very forward thinking . It's one hell of a ride with a sector which is booming. Blockchain is and will continue to.play a part in all sectors. Glh
No Bull Joker
Just a belief in a great company that is going places.
Joker, yes I am.
You can do quite nicely by investing well and cashing out.
You can make a fortune if you stay in the game. I'm not claiming to have predicted these levels of profit, but the jump since Christmas has been so rapid that I couldn't fail to do well. I didn't have time to lose my bottle!
