We interviewed Tickmill's CEO Duncan Anderson about futures and options. Watch the full video here.
hahahah Pearls are you trying to buy BTC with USD???!!!
don't worry we can show you how.
Coinbase - we agree. P/E there is 190. Here we only need P/E of 30 for a £12.50 SP.
I think even you understand that Pearls. Money heading to ARB when we Maaaaaaybe hit Nasdaq ;)
what makes you think that Albert?
oh that it happens at pretty much the same time every month.
yeah right. sorry. will get me coat.
that you haven't got a life?
hahaha GG, was slightly confused then looked up futura medical ;)
Deej2, round of applause for honesty my friend. If we are honest every one of us has made a mistake (or several) along the way and most if the time we do not even admit it to ourselves, let alone post it.
Good for you.
Probably saved a few people some money by posting that mate.
Good for you

please see answer #5 from my list earlier (btc futures expire tomorrow)

PhildePain hi.
Most welcome and sorry again for the confusion. I know what you mean about honesty and integrity - have to be very careful on BBs like these. A lot of 'bad actors' around these parts.
May I ask about the day the Professor said this to you? Was this at a particular moment?
I think we have all felt that way at certain moments. However in my personal experience I filled it very quickly with work and have now spent 25yrs trying to get back to that moment of freedom.
There is a SP here that gets me travelling back in time 25yrs. So ARB could be a time machine in a way.

ok so against my better judgement, I will reply EVA....
Why are people claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto?
Because BTC, or rather the BTC whitepaper https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf is a thing of beautiful simplicity that has changed, and will continue to change, the world for the better. It is likely to be as advancing for finance as the internet has been for information.
The inventor will IMO be held up alongside such greats as Isaac Newton, Alan Turing, Tim Berners-Lee and Pat Sharp (of Fun House fame).
Who wouldn't want to be in that list?
A new low. Which is saying something.
There is a sentence there which actual ends '....I reckon'.
If we asked a 6th former to review a company they had never heard of, in a sector they didn't understand, they would do better than that.
You almost couldn't make it up.
PhilDePain very sorry if any offence caused.
It really was just a play on words based on users names - 'BestGuessing' on what the SP will be, as in truth we are all guessing in the short term, 'Everup' for why it went up and 'feel the pain' for why it went down.
Like you I am also here for freedom, not material goals. And just trying to raise a laugh occasionally, especially when the SP tanks despite us printing more virtual money by the day.
Apols again for any stress caused and wishing you a lovely eve.

yep just a joke. assuming PhildePain gets it given their witty name (sometimes difficult to read tone on these boards though!)
haha PhildePain
Hoping you would be able to explain any drops, not the cause of course ;)
Spot on Ashstash, none of us have any idea of short term prices in either the SP or BTC price. Or do we?
We have a member here called 'BestGuessing' - maybe we leave that stuff to him/her?
We could also leave questions on the Pluto listing to 'seethreeIPO'
Technicals to 'technowiz'
Reasons for a rise to 'Everup'
A fall to 'PhildePain'
And investment banking to 'Tiger16' (insert laughing emoji)
Just a thought.

Hi and welcome Lou007. Glad to have you on board the good ship Argonaut.
Been some rocky waters this last week but we know where we are headed and will certainly get there.
Do you know Matt007 btw? He is a valued member here so perhaps you will get on?

PS Whilst most here are truly wonderful human beings, we do have a couple of strange ones who seem to employ multiple aliases. Rana3 for example seems to also be EVA and perhaps Zoro. They all seem to use the unusual phrase 'waiting on sideline' which I have never heard anywhere else. Best to ignore them or ask them a question about the strength of the company fundamentals or the BTC use case. They go somewhat quiet after that.

Minute 45 also worth a FFWD to if short of time.
All the info was there, some saw it, many didn't and still don't. Personally I kick myself for not seeing it earlier and thus arriving late (Jan 21) but we are still early in the grand scheme of things.
Might be worth looking up the importance of these dates:
3/1/09
28/11/12
9/7/16
11/5/20

Not watched the whole thing yet but this is the best I have seen Saylor - minute 15 he makes the case superbly IMO.
V interesting, thanks for posting Hydrogen.

Great news Barney, really pleased for you.
One word of caution, telling the wife now could be considered by some as foolhardy given where me night be headed ;)

Morning all.
Thought it might be nice to introduce a little 'quote of the day' feature, relevant to ARB and perhaps a subtle way to take us away from some of the closed tiny minds that seem to pop up daily now.
Couple of starters from me below, over to someone else for tomorrow I hope ;) ...
“Every fact of science was once damned. Every invention was considered impossible. Every discovery was a nervous shock to some orthodoxy. Every artistic innovation was denounced as fraud and folly. We would own no more, know no more, and be no more than the first apelike hominids if it were not for the rebellious, the recalcitrant, and the intransigent.”
— Robert Anton Wilson, Author
And...
“We overestimate the impact of technology in the short-term and underestimate the effect in the long run.”
-Roy Amara, Stanford computer scientist.
