exactly, you cherry picked form the same article
Jayblu48 - Hahaha! Great cut and paste!
Ah ok Javier that explains the change in your narrative. Well at least we both agree on Argo's future potential so let's leave it at that
Xenor - That certainly is the million pound question literally. If I'd invested the same amount in July last year and sold at £3 i would have had a return of 1million. Again to reiterate I believe the future of Argo is great.
Takayama - Citron compared Riot Blockchain's valuation to that of Bitcoin funds like Grayscale Bitcoin Trust. That seems like an apples-to-oranges comparison to me. Riot Blockchain is increasing its mining capabilities throughout 2021 and beyond. Therefore, assuming the price of Bitcoin stays the same, the company's net asset value is poised to increase from here. For this reason, it doesn't seem fair to value the company based on a static NAV like you would something like Grayscale Bitcoin Trust.
You took the words right out of my mouth, Xenor. MysteryFUD is continually posts these kind of things with no backing it up. Best to just ignore. It's all personal attacks on the CEO with him. Constructive criticism is one thing but blatant libel is another.
@mysteryguys yes I wanted it to crash, and managed to average down yesterday, and hopefully tomorrow. All I can see in Argo is good future, and much better valuation than Riot or Mara. Right now, those two are super-overvalued.
Someone who holds a share at £1 and thinks £1.90 is over valued. Then why didn't you cash out at £3+ and buy back when it returns to £1 or whatever you value this at? Why not sell now and buy back lower? I wouldn't sit on a share I felt was over valued and watch it slowly go down.
To be fair Arb has always been on a much lower PE / rating. I maintain the dilution (58% in one year period) has hurt badly. There are a lot more shares around now and it seems the mkt is flooded with them at this time. The mkt thinks the price is too high so down we go. The bottom....no-one knows. I sense we go lower for a while yet.
Ok mystery over.
More than happy to lower the tone but tbf you are making claims about the CEO without providing the full picture.
Assume it was just a lack of knowledge that he had sold a few before a major rise in the past.

Valuation is tricky. But current trends: "Citron took to social media to say that Riot Blockchain stock should trade in line with its net asset value (NAV)"
ARB - 382M shares at £2 approx £764M valuation
It held 764 BTC at end of March @ approx £50k = £38Mill
ARB is on 20 PE at the moment. I'm a newbie so happy to be corrected.
Javier you have literally been praying for Argo to crash to buy in cheaper pressuming to lower your average?Make your mind up :)
I can tell his mind is "mysterious"LOL
Hi RacingCyclist. I am invested here currently hold 15k shares at an average of £1. I should have specified that currently we are overvalued hence the price correction but yes future outlook in Argo is looking very good. In the words of PW its quarters and years
Lastly I'd ask that you lower the tone slightly. Nobody is here to attack :)
@mysteryguy, two of us asking you now.
Are you going to answer or just go all mysterious on us?
@mysteryguy, you say 'we' but are clearly not invested. If you think a company due to mine 2,500 BTC with a conservative forecasted price of $100k each by year end is overvalued at £720m mcap I would love to see your workings.
You also still haven't answered me re PW's 30p sale end of Dec just before the SP went to 340p. Assume because it doesn't fit your BS narrative?

In the bitcoin world everything is overvalued even some of the little token coins and Defi platforms are valued at Billions of dollars it’s crazy so although I tend to believe the Mcap for arb Mara etc are high I recall thinking the same when Google floated and Apple arm amazon etc this may be a bubble but it is the beginning of a financial revolution we are in at the start - think longer term - I am a holder by the way very happy to be too
@mysteryguy stop spreding lies, IF we are overvalued, then Riot or Mara SP should also be overvalued and their SP should plummet 50% (just 4xtimes our market cap)
@mysteryguy you are probably the first person ever to doubt BTC (insert sarcasm here). Your predictions of us being at the top will be just as wrong as everyone else who predicted we were at the top for the past 12 years.
Well said, diamond hands!!
Matt we are overvalued not undervalued mate

The amount of market manipulation here is very obvious and I feel like it not unexpected. Hedge funds make money from MM and a stock that is largely funded by relatively uneducated retail investors in a particularly volatile market seems an obvious choice to short and manipulate.
The Coinbase IPO was widely touted as likely being one of the breakout moments for crypto-currencies. Seems like some banks and hedge funds weren’t happy enough to sit there and let crypto currencies take up profits and headlines that could be theirs and have decided to fight back!
With that being said we mined 387 BTC last quarter which is worth £17.5m today. Ignoring Texas, ignoring BTC HODLed, ignoring Pluto, ignoring being the first green crypto miner, ignoring our open and intelligent CEO, we are only at a P/E ratio of ~10.
ARB will rebound but only if we HODL and learn to stop paper handsing at the first sight of adversity! This company is massively undervalued and whether you keep your shares or decide to sell off, ARB will be rebounding back in the next few weeks for sure with or without you.
